Chapter 442: Chapter 188, The Knight’s Battle_3

A hysterical rage surged in the young knight’s heart. The young knight decided to ignore the nonsensical words of the blood knight before him. He also saw the farmer’s dried corpse, clearly the blood knight had just feasted.

”For the Lady and Boldro, for Brittania!” Thus, the warhorse advanced under the young knight’s urging, charging forward. Relying on the faint moonlight, the Ranger Knight had never felt such excitement and fervor. The powerful blood knight was right before him, and if he could defeat it, he could almost win the Lady’s favor. He even wanted to shout in joy.

The expression of the blood knight was hidden behind the helmet, almost invisible, only showing him standing motionless, allowing the Ranger Knight to charge towards him.

”Ha!” ”Crack!” The Ranger Knight’s roar and the sound of the cavalry lance breaking erupted almost simultaneously.

I succeeded! Such a perfect textbook-like attack. Cybot Le Shanggel could feel the sound of the lance’s iron tip piercing through the blood knight’s chest, that was the sound of the lance piercing flesh. No creature could withstand such a perfect hit! At least the young Ranger Knight thought so!

So he turned around, cold air being heavily inhaled into his lungs. The Ranger Knight couldn’t wait to turn back, eager to examine his battle achievements, but before he could see what was happening on the blood knight, he heard applause.

The blood knight was applauding.

”A very beautiful and standard lance thrust, young man, I felt it. Well then, now ride your horse, take your shield, and leave this forest.” The blood knight’s voice remained calm and confident: ”I enjoy this kind of mounted lance duel, but not with a weak knight like you. This is my final warning, leave this place. My power exceeds your imagination.”

After speaking, the blood knight held the lance tip lodged in his chest with his hand. He used brute force to remove the iron tip, and apart from a small amount of blood that clung to the tip, the blood knight’s wound healed at a rapid speed. Within only ten seconds, the Ranger Knight’s achievement vanished.

And at that moment, the smile on the Ranger Knight’s face had not yet disappeared, it froze directly.

Cybot Le Shanggel only felt his hands trembling, his body shaking, his head dizzy. At a certain moment, he truly wanted to flee in panic.

Escape, out of the forest, out of this place, the formidable enemy before him was simply unbeatable. A perfect lance charge had been the Ranger Knight’s strongest attack method, and even that couldn’t harm the enemy before him?

The blood knight noticed the wavering in the Ranger Knight’s eyes.

But this wavering quickly disappeared. The young knight discarded the broken lance shaft aside and then, with trembling hands, held the Longsword at his waist.

”Clang!” The Longsword unsheathed, emitting a series of melodious sounds. Cybot Le Shanggel tightened his grip on his Longsword and raised his shield, emblazoned with the Sea God Trident Family Emblem.

”I have prayed to the Lady many times, and I have seen her supreme image in illustrations.”

”I am the Lady’s knight. Facing evil, I’d rather die than retreat. Facing darkness, I fear nothing!”

After speaking, the young Ranger Knight urged his horse to gallop once more.

”For the Lady! For Brittania!”
