Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1135: Chapter 1133: Study Plan (Extra Update Subscription Requested)

Study, observe, and consolidate the foundation. This was Gu Xi’s plan after hearing that he would have to stay in Ancestor City for about half a year.

Gu Xi was not short on resources. After leaving the registration office, Gu Xi tested it out, even though Ancestor City was said to have no entrance channels.

But in reality, it’s not just about the entrance gate of Death City.

Gu Xi could still recruit people if needed.

However, Gu Xi understood that if he returned to Yalidov City, the next time he appeared, he would first be sent to Pei Xin City.

As for the location he’d be sent to, it’s likely the house at Sky Garden.

This actually already counted as having some of the permissions loosened.

After all, Death City is part of formal spells, and Ancestor City guards against players wanting to enter through other means.

As for the minions players bring, they are actually not prohibited.

After all, there are many professions, not just Undead Mage that carry minions.

Professions like certain Druids, Dragon Tamers, and Elf Trainers all come with large numbers of minions.

If they couldn’t have a space to store their minions, how would they manage? They couldn’t possibly transport them by train to Ancestor City.

So the situation is like this.

Spells like teleportation gates, space-time beacons, and instant teleportation are prohibited for players.

But non-player spells are not prohibited.

As for the degree of this, it’s not based on your subjective thoughts.

If players appear, they are directly sent away.

Others don’t matter; even if you summon angels, they are seen as angelic beasts.

After all, in Ancestor City, even a random hilltop might house a Level 30 expert.

Players now play with things that hundreds or nearly a thousand years ago were left behind and not used by them.

They are never intimidated by this.

Gu Xi also didn’t intend to provoke these experts.

After leaving the barracks, Gu Xi already had a complete plan in mind.

After releasing the Holy Silver Evil Coffin again, Gu Xi didn’t rush to get on. The main city gate behind him opened a small gap, and the prepared undead quickly delivered a large amount of food onto the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

In the following period, Gu Xi would likely live on the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

He simply decided to prepare food and so on, treating it as a half-year long RV life.

This could save a lot of money, which could then be used for construction in Yalidov City.

Eve, who had never really left the Magic District, stepped out of Yalidov City for the first time. She would follow Gu Xi to Ancestor City’s library, focusing on reproducing everything readable there.

Shaya also followed Eve out.

However, Shaya only took a turn before returning. Gu Xi only saw twenty thieves leave from the city gate, swiftly disappearing.

These thieves didn’t actually go far; they didn’t have intentions of gathering information.

Their sole objective was to prevent anyone from snooping into Gu Xi’s affairs.

And to use false information to muddle Gu Xi’s data.

In terms of gathering intelligence, these thieves might not be too proficient, but they could certainly conceal Gu Xi.

After Eve boarded the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, Gu Xi, who was putting food in the small kitchen at the back, waved to her.

”I don’t know what’s in the library of Ancestor City. Our current library cards should allow us to borrow most of the books. We’ll split up when the time comes.

Don’t rush to copy books on the first day. Let’s first clarify what books are available in this library and which books can be borrowed.

Then make a copying and reproducing plan.

We need to consider Yalidov City’s development plan comprehensively.

After all, our time is limited, and I worry there are some restricted areas I may not enter.

If we copy in the wrong direction, it’s not only a waste of time and energy but also could result in setbacks due to insufficient technical support.

So we must set the plan right from the start.”

Listening to Gu Xi’s arrangement, Eve nodded.

Upon receiving Gu Xi’s order, Eve had already handled some tasks.

She even consulted the thoughts of Luna and the other three.

She also arranged work on the side of the Magic District.

With this, Eve derived several directions for Gu Xi’s development.

It can be said that Eve came with a plan.

Once Gu Xi began speaking, Eve started discussing their target strategy for this time.

First was the matter of the magic ceremony.

During the last city defense battle, Dominic taught Gu Xi a lesson in the use of magic.

Allowing Gu Xi to realize that as the number of his troops grows, ordinary combat magic is no longer enough.

Battle magic needs to be prioritized.

Battle magic, in essence, involves ordinary magic expanded in influence and duration through a magic ceremony.

These magic ceremonies need to be organized by Gu Xi.

Furthermore, some battle magic needs to be prepared in advance.

Then there’s the idea of converting tower forces to undead.

Since acquiring the Netherworld Stone Giant, Eve’s energy investment in this area has markedly increased.

The tower’s most critical Stone Giant and Mage Element can actually be considered replicated.

Now the most important Titan has not been successful yet.

Once the Titan succeeds, given the number of Cloud Hall designs Gu Xi possesses, building a Titan Legion is just a matter of time.

But currently, everything is stuck at a crucial point.

Lightning poses significant damage to the undead.

Even though Gu Xi has a successful example with the Bone Titan, after much research, Eve still hasn’t found a suitable solution.

Currently, this issue is stuck here.

Only relying on the fairy tales and magazines in Gu Xi’s library to find the proper answer seems inadequate.

A significant part of Gu Xi and Eve’s trip to Ancestor City’s library is dedicated to addressing this.

The third point concerns Gu Xi feeling that his spells and skills need an upgrade.

His current foundational Corpse Burst remains a Secondary Corpse Burst.

Waiting for a level-up to upgrade might be somewhat wasteful.

Gu Xi plans to enhance his skills through learning.

Concurrently, Gu Xi City’s magic tower research progress is relatively slow.

This time, Gu Xi needs to see if Ancestor City has suitable research ideas.

If there are already developed magic extension skills, Gu Xi doesn’t mind directly copying them.

As Gu Xi and Eve arrived at the Ancestor City library, they had already clarified all their strategies.

After alighting from the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, Gu Xi led Eve into the library.

Upon walking through the door, Gu Xi solemnly said: ”You go left, I go right, circle around first.”
