Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1127: Chapter 1125: Purple Long Spear

The equipment Su Jie took out was a seven-meter-long spear, with three identical spears, all metal, and the spearhead was about half a meter.

What made Gu Xi feel strange was that the balance of these spears seemed not at the tip, but at the rear.

Su Jie put down two spears and raised the rear of the gun with her right hand, surprisingly lifting the seven-meter-long spear horizontally.

Seeing the ease, Gu Xi knew this kind of spear was used single-handedly with a specialized attack method.

”This is a Phalanx Spear of purple quality. The attributes are decent, and the negative effects are not strong. The main issue is that one must specially learn how to use this spear to handle it easily.

If mastered, this spear method can easily counter various cavalry attacks.

Of course, if not mastered, then it’s truly a disaster.”

When Su Jie mentioned this, she seemed to reminisce about something, a trace of helplessness flashed in her eyes, indicating she had been disadvantaged using this Phalanx Spear.

However, this disadvantage was experienced while using the Phalanx Spear, not just facing it.

Clearly, this Phalanx Spear is a pit.

But Gu Xi was quite satisfied this time, as he focused on spears of purple armor because he wanted to fill the final path of the Flame Light Six Paths Lamp.

He had decided to use spears fully; no matter the current situation with the spear, in Gu Xi’s eyes, as long as it’s a spear it’s acceptable.

Su Jie obviously noticed Gu Xi’s intentions; though she did not know why he was focused on spears, she still presented the spears she could not use herself.

Seeing Gu Xi’s satisfied expression, Su Jie knew the deal was successful.

Sure enough, Gu Xi nodded, ”We can trade.”

He finished speaking and set aside three Grass Returning Pills.

Su Jie also placed the spears on the ground.

Gu Xi, upon contact, immediately saw the attributes of the Phalanx Spear.

[Phalanx Spear (Purple, Spear, Single-handed Weapon)]

[Attack: 75-83]

[Equipped: Power+11, Agility+12]

[Equipment Requirement: Power 12, Agility 10]

[Special 1: Spear Forest, can deploy in formation with similar weapons, increasing weapon attack power by 5% per additional weapon (no limit to enhancement)]

[Special Impact 1: When equipped and activating Spear Forest effect, all soldiers in the battle array become one unit, and when one is injured, others will suffer 30% of the damage.]

[Special 2: Level Stab, lifting the spear horizontally increases stab power, longer lift yields stronger power (up to 100% boost), granting 200% attack enhancement against cavalry units.]

[Special Impact 2: Upon activation of Level Stab effect, an arm scar appears, adding a scar for every minute of horizontal lift.]

[Special 3: Convergence, converging different attributes at the spear tip to enhance spear attack power (Fire, Poison, Ice, Thunder attributes).]

[Special Impact 3: Upon activation of Convergence, the user will be affected by enhanced attributes, possibly resulting in death due to attribute complications.]

[Note: This is a weapon used in standard spear phalanxes, ineffective with only one or two, minimum of three required to exhibit Phalanx Spear traits.]

Raising a Phalanx Spear, Gu Xi curiously asked, ”Can this be mass-produced?”

Su Jie shook her head decisively, ”This is no mass product, I fought through a peculiar dungeon for these.”

”Doesn’t quite appear like it.”

Gu Xi murmured yet another sentence.

”Truly, chances for purple armor from this dungeon are low, usually yielding one Phalanx Spear per run, others are either inferior goods or blue or green equipment.”

Su Jie wanted to avoid transaction issues, thus explained to Gu Xi.

This piqued Gu Xi’s interest instead.

”Did you acquire those blue or green spears?”

Su Jie looked puzzled at Gu Xi’s question.

What use is that, filling bags with trash?

”No, if blue is not top-notch I usually ignore it, deconstructing most blue and green gear upon acquisition.”

Gu Xi could not help but feel regret listening.

”Pity, I have a spear troop, needing these spears.”

”A troop? An army?”

”Yes, I am an Undead Mage; having an Undead Corps is reasonable.”

Gu Xi looked puzzled at the players before him.

Didn’t they recognize my class?

Impossible, the attire screams Undead... alright, more like an Elf Shooter, makes their misinterpretation understandable.

Glancing at his robe, Gu Xi spoke helplessly.

The players, too, were skeptical.

Nevertheless, they ignored Gu Xi’s offhand remarks.

They quickly deduced Gu Xi’s desire for purple spears, knowing blue and green ones were wanted too, albeit less valuable than purple items.

Several players searched their backpacks, hoping to find a purple spear or two.

The player initially offering the Silver Horn Spear directly told Gu Xi, ”I’ll trade. I just have this Silver Horn Spear, wanting to exchange for a Fire Pill.”

Gu Xi glanced at the player, noting this person likely surpassed Level 10, though exact levels remained unclear. He was certain the player’s level hadn’t nearly reached Level 15.

Regarding taking a Fire Pill now, Gu Xi had no intention to advise.

Your needs for pill types are your concern.

Gu Xi solely sought purple spear-like weaponry.

Upon acquiring the Silver Horn Spear, Gu Xi checked the attributes, finding them decent, even capable of unleashing Dragon Breath, albeit with strong negative effects; the greatest being prolonged use attracts dragon attention.

Gu Xi could hardly care less about such things.

What’s wrong with dragon attraction?

Even sudden dragon appearances yield Gu Xi a double kill.

Summoning a Bone Dragon from the dragon corpse followed by another due to Double Death.

All in all, it’s profit for Gu Xi.

This Silver Horn Spear is accepted.

Then other players started setting out their bottom-line items before Gu Xi.
