The Golem Mage

630: Moving Out.

630: Moving Out.

“Move out!” Selene’s voice rang out, calling the team to attention, beside her stood the Dean and two other instructors, all dressed in fine attire.

The team began to assemble one by one, and Selene nodded in approval as she noticed that those who were coming out had made significant progress.

Her eyes quickly skimmed over Lucas and Beatrice; Lucas appeared to be on the verge of reaching the mid Tier 5 Mage realm, exuding a type of pressure that Beatrice lacked, despite the both of them being in the low Tier 5 Mage Realm, which showed just how close he was to the Mid realm.

However, Selene knew that despite Lucas being in a higher realm than Beatrice, her battle power still surpassed his.

It was akin to how Alec, despite once being at one of the lowest realms in the team, he had still managed to hold the number one spot, because battle power consists of a lot of things and not just realm.

This was the main reason Selene wasn’t too concerned about Beatrice’s slower progress; as she had learned that Beatrice preferred her puppets to be at a higher realm than her own.

Beatrice believed that only then would she feel truly safe, as she relied on her puppets to do her bidding.

While those two prominent figures who held significant authority after Alec had made impressive strides, Selene was neither bothered nor intrigued by them, she cared more about the Progress the rest of the team had made.

Her gaze shifted to Endrick, who had just emerged, radiating the aura of a low Tier 5 Mage.

Although he still seemed somewhat unstable, but it was another victory for the team in Selene’s eyes.

As the next person walked out, she gave a nod of affirmation to Pale Zero, who had also entered the low Tier 5 Mage Realm, his aura already stabilizing.

Selene had heard that Pale met with the Grand Elder of the Zero Clan after their last match, and although she didn’t inquire about the specifics of their meeting, she knew it was primarily to compensate him for the head enforcer pursuing him because of his own ulterior motives.

It was clear to her that the visit had gone well for Pale.

Cause despite the fact that he was already at the peak of the Tier 4 Mage realm, and with the help of the pills from Alec, she had no doubts he would soon step into the Tier 5 Mage Realm but not stabilising his realm this fast.

So seeing that he had stabilized his realm only confirmed her suspicions, and that as the fact that the Grand Elder of the Zero Clan must have played a role in it.

Given the variant ice ability Pale had awakened, it was evident he would become a pillar for the Pale Clan if nothing unfortunate happened to him, making their increased investment in him all the more expected.

Not wanting to lose focus, Selene shifted her attention to the remaining members in the room, eager to assess the overall strength of the team before they headed out for their match.

Her gaze landed on Sophia, who was already in the high Tier 4 Mage realm.

Although her aura was a bit unstable, Selene was confident in her abilities; Sophia had the best control over her mana on the team, second only to Alec and Beatrice.

Katie, on the other hand, was already a peak Tier 4 Mage with a solid foundation.

After Selene finished assessing everyone present, she realized that Alec and his main group still had not emerged.

Just then, she turned her attention to his door, which slowly opened to reveal the Gordons walking out.

When Selene spotted Brandon, a smile lit up her face, she could instantly sense his aura had shifted, indicating he had entered the Tier 5 Mage Realm.

The fact that he had stabilized his aura came as a surprise to her, but Selene was pleased to see that the team had gained an extra heavy hitter.

However, as her gaze shifted to Arthur and the rest of the team, she couldn’t help but be astonished by their progress.

The Gordons hadn’t just made a breakthrough; each of them had achieved double breakthroughs, especially if considering the time it took for Arthur and Brandon to stabilize their realms, which could be seen as another minor achievement.

While Brandon and Arthur had made one realm breakthrough, both Knight and Agnes had jumped multiple small realms to reach the peak of the Tier 4 Mage Realm, which was quite impressive.

The Gordons auras and morale were both at an all-time high.

Witnessing such improvements raised questions in Selene’s mind about how Alec had managed to facilitate this transformation since they all emerged from his room.

In fact, that was what the entire team was pondering ‘What had Alec put them through to prompt multiple small realm breakthroughs?’

Just as these thoughts raced through their minds, Alec finally stepped out from his room, looking exhausted with dark circles under his eyes; he was completely spent.

“I’m guessing you didn’t get your much-adored sleep!” Selene remarked with a smirk, as she believes Alec’s likes sleeping after she had noticed since she became their coordinator.

“Yeah, we’re all set now, let’s get this over with; I have an appointed nap after the battle!” Alec replied, starting to walk toward the door.

“That won’t be necessary!” the Dean said, gazing proudly at the team of the War God Academy, seeing them fully attired in their academy uniforms filled him with a sense of pride.

“Before we depart, I’d like to share a few words,” the Dean began.

“I have to admit, when you all left the academy, I never imagined you would come this far, i want to tell you from the bottom of my heart how extremely proud I am of each and every one of you”

“ When you return to school, you won’t need to make up for all the exercises you missed during the competition period.”

“Just take the final test with the rest of the First year’s and then go home to spend your month-long holiday with your families.

You deserve it!

You are all heroes of the War God Academy in your own right!” The Dean’s words brought smiles to the faces of the Gordons, who had started to feel quite homesick.

However, for some like Pale, Lucas, and Beatrice it was almost as if they detested the thought of going back home.

“With that said, let’s head to the Royal Palace Colosseum!” the Dean declared, swiping his hand to summon a space door.

He then proceeded to slam a coordinate talisman against the side of the door, causing the portal to change to a shimmering gold.

“No matter whether you win or lose today, remember to always hold your heads high, you are the finest representatives of the younger generation that the War God Mage Academy has produced,” the Dean continued, stepping through the door and disappearing into the swirling golden portal.
