The Golem Mage

603: Don’t Mess With The Gordons Clan 2 603: Don’t Mess With The Gordons Clan 2 “Destroy and kill everything that stands in your path, for today the Gordons clan shall fall and disappear into the annals of history,” declared one of the invaders who seems to be acting as the leader

And he was wearing a human face like mask to conceal his identity, the man levitated high in the air, issuing orders to the group of nine Mage that have invaded the outer region of the Gordons clan house.

However, he grew perplexed as he noticed the nine mages had ceased casting attack spells on the houses below.

As that allowed the retreating Gordons clansmen a chance to escape to the inner regions of the clan.

The man with the mask strained his eyes, attempting to discern the reason behind the sudden halt in attack.

Clanking noises reached his ears, signalling that the Gordons clan had reacted to their attack, and he struggled to comprehend how the Gordons clan had detected their intrusion so quickly, especially considering the meticulous preparations they had made to make sure this all happened in stealth until the last moments.

Although he hadn’t personally opted for sound-cancelling devices, since he believed that their ten Tier 7 mages group could swiftly eliminate the elders of the Gordons clan and annihilate the rest of the clan within an hour, but he had reluctantly agreed since the mage who sponsored the attack insisted as he didn’t want the city disturbed.

Now, sensing that the Gordons clan had already become aware of their presence, he felt an eager anticipation to confront them head-on and alleviate his mounting frustrations.

He scrutinized the situation with careful focus, and it dawned on him why the attacking squad had abruptly halted.

A chuckle escaped his lips as he realized that there were only four mages emerging from the main region of the Gordons clan.

Assuming his position as their leader, the man descended onto the roof of one of the decimated Gordons houses, he snicker as he tried to measure the numbers of defenders that came out compared to them that were attacking.

“Everyone always holds the Gordons clansmen in high regard, calling you the strongest clan in Estonia City, but to be honest, I fail to see what all the fuss is about, you’re nothing more than a hyped-up clan,” sneered the masked leader.

The four mages who had arrived were none other than the patriarch, the third elder, the fourth elder, and the fifth elder of the Gordons Clan.

With the patriarch leading at the forefront, his hands resolutely clasped behind his back, while his siblings followed closely behind.

As they approached, the three elders behind him split up, gracefully leaping onto various rooftops nearby.

Only the patriarch continued onward, each step accompanied by the resonating sound of his Geta sandals reverberating through the surrounding area.

Silently, the patriarch advanced towards the invading mages, his focus still on ensuring the escape of the Gordons’ clansmen.

Some clansmen were still fleeing, casting earth walk spells or other earth-related spells to enhance their speed.

Up ahead, Draco could be seen directing the escaping clansmen, guiding them away from the immediate danger.

Observing this, some of the invaders felt the impulse to attack.

After all, their objective was to wipe out the clan, leaving no room for mercy.

However, before they even made a move, the patriarch fixed them with a chilling death stare, leaving them frozen in place.

It puzzled them why they felt startled, or why their breaths quickened in response to the patriarch’s gaze.

Being in the same realm as the patriarch, they could not comprehend why they felt a sense of dread.

Nonetheless, due to the patriarch’s calculated move, they involuntarily allowed the remaining clansmen to escape to the inner regions of the Gordons clan castle.

This left the outer region devastated, and primed to become the battlefield where this conflict that was about to unfold would be resolved.

“Listen carefully, as I will not repeat myself,” the Patriarch of the Gordons clan stated, his hands remaining behind his back.

“You all have the opportunity to retreat and attempt to escape, however, I assure you, I will grant a thirty-second head start before I commence the hunt, pursuing and capturing each of you individually.” The Patriarch concluded

But his declaration was met with derision as the crowd of masked invaders laughed at his words.

“Observe your surroundings,” a figure in a fox mask interjected with scorn.

“You seem to be under a delusion, we are not here for frivolity; our purpose is to expunge the Gordons clan from the annals of Estonia City.”

“Will you concede the easy way and allow us to grant you a swift demise, or will you resist and afford us the pleasure of a thorough conquest?

As It’s quite evident that we significantly outnumber you.” The masked figure who has acted as the leader of the invaders, taunted George Gordons.

But a boisterous, and unbridled laughter erupted from the Patriarch, leaving the assailants bewildered as he covered the left side of his face, his mirth bordering on the maniacal.

“It appears that the Gordons clan’s peaceful conduct and seclusion have caused many to overlook the reason we are acknowledged as the mightiest clan in Estonia City,” George proclaimed.

“You boast of your numbers in front of a Gordons, stupid cause you should surely know that the Gordons clan does not engage in battle unaccompanied.

Boys!” The Patriarch’s voice rang out, the final word echoing as the three elders who had arrived with him responded with resounding shouts.

“Let us demonstrate to these uneducated intruders the folly of their incursion into Gordons’ territory and why we are never at a disadvantage when it comes to numbers!” the Patriarch commanded.

And made a forceful stomp, as three distinct portals conjured behind him.

“Ahhhhh!” A disturbing presence materialized on the right side of the portal.

As a black, rocky hand emerged on the portal edge with sinister red lines coursing along its cracks.

It almost gave out the feeling of a desperate struggle of a demon attempting to break free from its captive, and a resounding shout emanated from the depths of the portal, along it’s arrival.

“Oh, damn!

How could I have forgotten?

The Gordons summon golems,” the invader leader exclaimed, his realization dawning upon him.

He turned his gaze to the other three elders who had come with the Patriarch , only to witness them too diligently preparing to summon their own golems.

And one word reverberated relentlessly in his mind: “Fuck!”
