Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 614: Chapter 145: The Tide of Enterprise

[Level 49 Gang Leader Black Dragon, joined Du Gao Technology, Alliance Reputation +2000, Leader Reputation +500]

[Level 48 Dark Hacker Scorpion, joined Du Gao Technology, Alliance Reputation +2000, Leader Reputation +500]

With two ’ding’ sounds from the system, Gao Gong knew things were settled.

He switched to the Alliance Panel, and the current Alliance Points had reached 380,000. For the Level 2 Civilization’s limit of 1,000,000, he could faintly see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As for the Leader Points, they were at 52,800, which was the hardest to accumulate among all the alliance attributes.

However, it also brought the greatest benefit. Behind the Leader Points, there was a big ’Task Mark’.

[Leader Task: Tide of Corporations]

Difficulty: Unknown

Task Briefing: The rise of a large corporation is inevitably built on the corpses of many other organizations. As a leader, your task is to become the ultimate winner in the world corporate war.

Task Objectives: In the Seventeenth Corporate War, become the Champion/Runner-up/Third place

Task Rewards: Alliance Reputation +100,000/50,000/30,000, a random Corporate Leader Template

Every time the Leader Points break through 50,000, a Leader Task will automatically be generated; completing this task will automatically grant a ’Boss Template’.

This means that as long as the faction develops smoothly, ’Boss Templates’ can be generated continuously.

This is also the greatest benefit of establishing an alliance.

Likewise, this is why, in the ”Cyber Realm,” regardless of the civilization or race, the leaders of alliances are as strong as monsters.

”Mr. G, the coverage rate of the Virtual Helmet has reached 70%, I wonder if it’s time to initiate the second phase of the plan?”

The representative of the Holy Brain Group, Mr. Brainstem, suggested.

”After all, our President did say that the armed forces of your company need to join her as soon as possible.”

”Hehe.”

Gao Gong squinted his eyes and looked into the distance.

The corporate contest is divided into three stages——

Regional, Hemisphere, Planet-level

The Regional level is to achieve over 50% occupancy of artificial data in any of the 30 regions on this planet to naturally break through to the next stage.

The Hemisphere level involves confrontation with super corporations’ forces, snatching markets, forming alliances, and finally making your technological scheme the preferred choice for half the planet’s 15 regions either in the Southern Hemisphere or Northern Hemisphere.

At the Planet-level, it naturally doesn’t need to be mentioned, as the clash between two super technology schemes would determine which becomes the technical service provider for the three Mother Cities.

The benefits here are enough for a burgeoning company to leap forward and become an oligarchic presence.

However, considering this is corporate warfare, military conflict is just one method of struggle. Companies may merge, collaborate technically, or become downstream hardware suppliers.

All these possibilities exist.

Thus, a rule emerged during the war, which allowed ’Military Contractors’ to exploit a bug.

This rule states that any company that completes 10,000,000 artificial data modifications but explicitly gives up its technical schemes can stay in the war as a ’loser’.

This rule was initially meant for acquired companies or those achieving technical collaborations.

These companies formed verbal agreements with the ’** Group’, existing as ’upstream and downstream suppliers’, aiming to help their business partners win by providing technical support.

This was within the allowed scope of war rules.

Hence, ’Military Contractors’, ’Mercenary Groups’, and ’Assassin Organizations’ used this rule by quickly completing 10,000,000 artificial data modifications in the first stage and then choosing to resign.

This allowed them to immediately serve in other regions for their employers.

Gao Gong’s eyes flickered, and he smiled:

”Of course, our Hunter Corps, Mecha Corps, and Clawman Legion have long been ready to serve your company.”

Upon hearing this, Mr. Brainstem heaved a sigh of relief, glanced around, and whispered:

”You know, Ms. Yee is somewhat isolated at headquarters.”

Ms. Ye, also known as the Dark Girl, Young CEO, and No Attribute Daughter, was saved as the 550th test subject by Director Du and others.

The biggest winner in the Electronic Brain Plan.

No one knew just how astounding Ms. Ye’s SS-level superpower would be in this corporate war.

”Please move quickly.”

”Of course, no problem at all.”

For some reason, seeing Mr. G’s earnest expression gave him a sense of dread.

So he instinctively activated his ’Brainstem’.

In an instant, thousands of brainstems on this planet interconnected.

Mr. Brainstem was not a single person; rather, he was one of the members of the ’Brainstem Modification Plan’, and each member of the ’Brainstem Plan’ could be called Mr. Brainstem.

These ’Mr. Brainstem’ brainstems are interconnected, meaning regardless of being male or female, old or young, they share the same brain.

The advantage of doing this is that their information exchange is seamless when necessary. They are the best salespeople and negotiators.

The perspective instantly shifted.

On the sea’s surface, aircraft carriers were moving. On the decks were powerful Mechanical Warriors, Biological Hunters, and Super Mercenaries, either sitting or standing, with some smiling and others stern-faced.

In the sky, hundreds of anti-gravity flying devices were deployed, particularly advantageous for long-distance deployments.

At this moment, every four anti-gravity flying devices were connected by thick metal cables, carrying a Super Mecha. Whether in human or beast form, they were all loaded with energy cannons, large melee weapons, and remote-controlled weapons.

Additionally, the seas were rhythmically stirred up by massive waves, indicating even more giant constructs moving underwater.

Such a scene could only be displayed when a large Military Contractor fully mobilized.

Through another Mr. Brainstem’s memories, this Mr. Brainstem finally confirmed that what Mr. G said was true.

”So when are we evacuating?”

Mr. Brainstem asked.

”Evacuate?” Gao Gong chuckled: ”No rush, no rush, we still have some things to do here. If you’re in a hurry, why don’t you leave first?”

A sense of unease inexplicably emerged in Mr. Brainstem’s heart.

”I can’t do that, I have to act with you.”

”Then let’s go.”

”Where to?”

”Naturally, to Hive City.”

...

Meanwhile, outside the atmosphere of this planet, a group of at least level 45 Mechanical Octopuses was hunting, each the size of a small hill.

From a distance, the entire planet seemed wrapped in an ocean of octopuses, evoking a strong Cthulhu-esque shock.

Outside the octopus layer, two ’asteroids’ were crossing the Asteroid Belt, flying toward the planet.

During the flight, the surface of the ’asteroids’ rapidly disintegrated, revealing a device similar to an aerial chamber but hundreds of times larger.

Such deployment technology existed in the Ancient Empire, but its range was limited, and it could only be executed within the atmosphere.

However, Cybertronian deployment technology could accomplish this within a star system, for example, from a planet to its moon.

When approaching the Mechanical Split Star, the deployment chamber automatically disassembled, and two Cybertronian Machines flew out, heading towards the radiation layer.

Yet, a large number of Mechanical Octopuses simultaneously blocked them.

”What’s going on?” Lord Celestis asked.

”Visiting Mechanical Lifeforms, this planet is off-limits, please leave immediately.”

”We are the attendants of General Cybertron, move aside quickly!” Venus demanded unceremoniously.

”Access denied, ding, access denied.”

”Alert, alert.”

An enormous wave from the octopus sea covering the planet separated and enveloped the two.

More dangerously, some armed satellites orbiting the planet were approaching the pair.

Lord Celestis held back the irate Venus and asked with a frown, ”What happened, and why doesn’t my highest mechanical authority work?”

”The Cyber Test Field is undergoing the 17th social transformation experiment. No interference, no unlocking, no access allowed.”
