Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 595: Chapter 126: Satellite-level Energy Field

Gazing at Xiao Yuanjun, Gao Gong inexplicably sensed a trace of historical impact and the absurdity of reality.

It can be responsibly said that the breakdown of the Ancient Empire, this person has a significant role, the Wudu Coup, this is a major event in the Civilization Era, the kind that can be recorded in history.

And sixty years later, this person transformed into the Bio-Fusion War God of the Mother City and a legion stationed at the Fortress, becoming a significant figure in another official faction.

Marvelous!

Likewise, Xiao Yuanjun was sizing up the person in front of him, the new representative of the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division, equally surprised.

Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division, or rather, the Favored of the Deep Net, are generally half-mechanized, half-electronic Transformers, but there was not a single trace of transformation on the other party’s body. Instead, he was filled with a powerful biological aura that only a similar type could sense.

In other words, the other party is a Biological Transformer of the same level as him.

But, how could that be?

When did the Deep Net master such an advanced biotechnology?

”Hello.”

Xiao Yuanjun proactively extended his hand, the bald elder spoke with a crisp and straightforward diction, with the demeanor of a military officer.

Gao Gong extended his hand and shook hands with him the next moment, a hot, mucus-like substance seeped from the other party’s palm, directly infiltrating Gao Gong’s arm and then burrowing into his body.

Competing in Inner Strength?!

Gao Gong raised an eyebrow, the next moment, the S-Level Radiation Field quietly unfolded, Gao Gong’s palm seemed to turn into a black hole, absorbing as much mucus as came his way, and even, this ’mucus’ could increase his Attributes.

[You have digested ’Strong Bio-Fusion Cells’, Experience +5000]

[You have digested ’Strong Bio-Fusion Cells’, Power +1]

[You have digested ’Strong Bio-Fusion Cells’, Agility +2]

[You have digested ’Strong Bio-Fusion Cells’, Biological Energy +300]

...

In just a few short seconds, Gao Gong’s Power +5, Agility +6, Endurance +7, Biological Energy +1200, it appeared to be a big win.

But in fact, this process was very risky.

Strong individuals from the Carbon-based System, apart from regular battles, have another option, which is ’Carbon-Based Devour’.

This is a special technique developed based on ’Carbon Fusion’, where they digest an opponent’s cells from the cellular level by releasing/digesting large quantities of similar cells.

Commonly known among players as ’Competing in Inner Strength’.

Now General Xiao Yuanjun was doing exactly this by releasing large quantities of ’Bio-Fusion Cells’ to infect Gao Gong’s fleshly body.

In turn, Gao Gong successfully wrapped these cells through ’Beast Tide’, making them a part of himself.

Outsiders would only see a simple handshake between the two, and quickly separate, completely unaware that in those few seconds, they had a matter-of-life-and-death battle.

’What a remarkable kid!’

’You old piece of work!’

Gao Gong rubbed his wrist, smiling even more brightly.

The other party didn’t lose much. During the experiment with the ’Red Liquid’, he knew that the Bio-Fusion Armor had terrifying recovery abilities. This loss of a few cells would recover in a few breaths.

The two were opponents on the same level—from the combat level.

But from a technical level, Gao Gong indeed lost.

The reason is simple, the ’Bio-Fusion War God’ can be replicated, meaning with one ’Xiao Yuanjun’, the opposing faction inevitably has a second or third ’Xiao Yuanjun’.

But Gao Gong is unique, and it’s impossible to create a second one, as Du Gao Technology hasn’t mastered this level of biotechnology.

He is a ’special product’, the other is a ’mass-produced soldier species’.

...

After that, there’s nothing more to say. After confirming the other party was not someone to mess with, no further contradiction emerged. The network technology team from the Fortress and the team from the Deep Net united, coding was done, equipment was debugged, and mutual supervision was enforced, all to prepare for the grassroots protocol exchange in Cyber Space.

Gao Gong, on the contrary, had another headache, which was the task given by Aramaki.

According to Aramaki, ’Xiao Yuanjun’ is very likely to have connections with a third-party entity, which is the ’Memory Mother’, and Gao Gong’s task is to invade the other party’s brain and steal part of the memory without letting the other party notice.

This wouldn’t be too difficult originally, because frankly, strong individuals walking the carbon-based route generally lack means to resist top-level hacker invasions.

But this is just under normal conditions.

Once the other party becomes wary and enters defense mode, it indeed becomes impregnable.

What a headache.

Soon, after three days and nights of technological adjustment, all preliminary work around the Planet Host was completed. As Lord Celestis once again transformed into Spark Mode, directly entered the Planet Host to start the power supply, the entire Cybertron buzzed, and Gao Gong’s feet shook, immediately realizing the whole asteroid stalled.

In the next moment, an inexplicable feeling arose as if plunged into murky water, vision, hearing, and smell were severely impaired.

”What’s going on, my system—”

The Terminator’s eyes glowing with red light suddenly dimmed, his whole body ’thump’ kneeled on the ground, directly entering a downtime state.

Not only him, whether it’s model T-X, the Collider’s ex-girlfriend, or Chernobyl previously engaging Gao Gong in network battles, their bodies staggered, periodically collapsing, which was totally abnormal for such level of strong individuals.

”I’ve long told you to unlock the mechanical plugins, serves you right!” The mechanical man beside couldn’t resist gloating.

Strange, then why am I fine?

Gao Gong glanced at the other party’s team, not only Xiao Yuanjun but also the other few who weren’t mechanically transformed were fine, he then opened the system panel.

[Due to the influence of Satellite-level Energy Field, all external signals are suppressed, human perception -95%, all mechanical systems enter forced shutdown mode]

No wonder!

A Satellite-level Energy Field equals the strength of Level 4 Civilization Weapon, not just them even normal Virtual Life can’t withstand it.

So saying, was the previous behavior of the other party kind-hearted?

Was the past protocol exchange also like this?

Gao Gong scanned around, seeing all mechanical men had entered ’Spark Mode’, the smaller ones were fist-sized while the larger ones were basketball-sized, each ’Fireball’ floated into the Planet Host as mechanical ancestors activated, gradually starting the Cybertron Host as rumbling echoed.

”Please don’t misunderstand, our Mechanical Ancestor, General Cybertron, due to certain circumstances, entered a dormant state during this period. The activated energy field cannot identify friend or foe, so it requested everyone to dismantle the mechanical system, not targeted at anyone,” said Lord Celestis from a distance.

Cybertron entered a dormant state?

Gao Gong touched his chin, suddenly having a bold idea.
