Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

As a super famous NPC on this planet, in the later stages, Aramaki was even called ’High-level Task Issuer,’ ’Friend of the Players,’ ’One-Punch Elder,’ and ’Bald King’ by the players.

Many balding Neural Editors even organized an ’Aramaki Sect,’ with two requirements for joining: thinning hair and high level.

In fact, many people, when playing Virtual Machines, even designed their wives to look like ’Aramaki.’

Although Gao Gong was nicknamed the SP Leader, he still held a certain reverence for the ’hobbies’ of some 4th Celestial Calamity players.

By the way, if he hadn’t had a lot of hair left and switched to AI before abandoning the middle zone, he might have joined the ’Aramaki Sect’ too.

Of course, generally, only people with little hair boast about having a lot.

So when meeting the sect leader, Gao Gong maintained a respectful attitude towards the elderly as he warmly greeted:

”Balding old man, where is my Sister Rose?”

Aramaki, having learned of his personality from Black Rose, couldn’t help but twitch at this warm and friendly greeting, replying in a deep voice:

”You should maintain some respect for your elders, after all, it’s one of the few good qualities of this era.”

”Alright, balding old man, may I ask where my Queen is?”

”...”

An old and a young, the old is truly old, the young is... young. After the big and small stared at each other for a while, Aramaki snorted coldly:

”Ms. Rose has other matters to attend to.”

”What matters does she have?” Gao Gong persisted.

”On her way to complete the final acquisition.”

”The final acquisition, acquiring whom?”

”Level 5 Corporation, Pure White Shell.”

”Sister Rose did it!?”

Gao Gong’s eyes sparkled, Pure White Shell, one of the six major Bionic Corporations, housed the largest number of bionic factories and the most bionic production lines. Its Bionic Technology was extremely well-developed.

Their former chairman, Mr. D, was unfortunately caught in the crossfire during a hacker’s revenge attack on Cloud City, disrupting the Escapee Game, and was taken down by the rampaging Lady Paradise Bird.

Then, his shell was conveniently swiped by a little wolf pup and presented to Lady Black Rose.

Later, probably due to secrets uncovered from the chairman, Ms. Rose made a killing in the business world, commanding another of the six, ’Electronic Grid,’ to besiege the other’s products and business strategies. Within a year, the opponent couldn’t withstand it, and promptly surrendered. One Giant Corporation merged with another.

Thus, Sister Rose transformed from a rich lady owning one company into a rich lady owning two companies.

And Gao transformed from a silver-clad wolf pup into a gold-clad wolf pup, becoming the little wolf pup of an even richer lady.

Ah, how can one subtly let others know that they’re being pampered by a super-rich powerful woman?

Gao Gong fell into a blissful dilemma.

”What are you thinking about?” Aramaki asked suspiciously.

”Ahem, nothing,” Gao Gong subconsciously wiped his mouth, coughing dryly, ”What were you just talking about?”

Seeing his completely indifferent attitude, even with Aramaki’s good temper, he couldn’t hold back his anger, coldly saying:

”Don’t forget, Yagami Suuji got seriously injured by the Fortress’s avatar because of you, which is completely different from the ’small favor’ Ms. Rose mentioned.”

Oh, right, this old man came to pick a fight.

Previously, Gao Gong, together with the Mother of Data, subdued the Destruction Form ’Purple Energy Strings,’ and to prevent other data giants from interfering, he decisively embraced the sexy black silk thighs of the rich lady.

After all, there are many Advanced Bionics skilled in hacker warfare within the Electronic Grid, and deploying some experts to help block the enemies was completely feasible.

And Black Rose, knowing the importance of subduing the ’Destruction Form’ to someone, directly approached Aramaki, asking this Super AI to take action.

And as everyone knows, in most people’s eyes, Aramaki was already dead, and taking action at this time would ruin a series of plan he had next.

So he sought out a former subordinate, now acting head of the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division, Yagami Suuji.

The Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division is responsible for overseeing Cyber Space, and taking down Big Data Monsters is naturally within their jurisdiction.

Yagami Suuji did not disappoint, directly blasting back one of the more formidable Prosthetic Giants among the invading Big Data Monsters into the network.

If it were just this, everyone would be happy, but the problem was, having chased the wolf out the front door, a more ferocious one entered from behind—the avatar of the Fortress Elder.

Planet Host, a Level 90 Super Power Leader, an AI above Super AI, has a specific designation, Planet AI.

Even a virtual avatar is at least above Level 60, with terrifying Data Authority. Even someone like Yagami Suuji, a Favored of another Planet Host, had to give her all, narrowly avoiding death.

The current state, maybe not even as good as Gao Gong.

And it seems like this avatar was released by Gao from Database 0.

Of course, this point is absolutely something someone would never admit.

”I personally express absolute sympathy! And on behalf of Du Gao Technology, I strongly despise such workplace PUA behavior. I personally suggest adding the Fortress to the blacklist...”

Gao Gong solemnly condemned, deeply expressing regret.

”If you like talking nonsense so much, I don’t mind letting Ms. Rose come and talk to you!” Aramaki said coldly.

This hit right on Gao Gong’s weakness. To be honest, Sister Rose sharing this encrypted number with the other party is quite telling.

After all, they got injured for your sake. It’s only reasonable to show some gratitude.

After all, we’re all in the same boat now.

”Cough, it’s not that I don’t want to help you,” Gao Gong shrugged, pointing at his infant body, and sighed, ”It’s just that, as you can see, I’m not exactly in a state to avenge Ms. Suzi, am I?”

Aramaki was at a loss for words. Who would’ve thought the other party would take on that nano-monster.

Honestly, he was surprised the opponent wasn’t killed.

Even if it were him, he wouldn’t fare much better. Bionic A couldn’t kill him, but his physical shell would surely be destroyed by the opponent.

However, he had just assigned Yagami Suuji a very important task, and her severe injury interrupted his subsequent plans.

And Gao Gong’s severe injury scuppered Aramaki’s second scheme.

”This way, the hard-won clues will slip away again,” Aramaki could only say helplessly.

”Clues?” Gao Gong looked up, trying to grasp the elements.

He knew this old man had noticed signs of the Cyber Tide and was constantly investigating the truth behind the world’s chaotic rampage.

And all of it was orchestrated by the Memory Mother from outer space.

But he obviously couldn’t tell him that he had traveled from a previous life and knew the main plot of this planet.

After all, time travel is at least a fairy tale in the realm of planetary civilization.

Moreover, Gao Gong knew who the antagonist was, but he didn’t know how they got here. Crossing hundreds or even thousands of light-years isn’t something one stumbles upon randomly.

Someone on this planet must have pinpointed its location, like Ye Wenjie.

According to Gao Gong’s guess, this person should belong to a faction of Cloud Nobility, but Cloud City was exiled, disrupting the timeline.

Thus, Earth Net Group became the primary suspect.

After all, obtaining fragments of the High-tier Information Mist itself suggests a connection between the parties.

But it might not be just one entity.

No sensible person would put all their eggs in one basket.

Seeing Gao Gong suddenly invigorated, Aramaki scrutinized him suspiciously for a long while before saying:

”If Suzi hadn’t been severely injured, she should be on Cybertron now, overseeing the transition of the Golden Rule, and the person I want to investigate is inside Cybertron.”

Inside Cybertron, so it’s not Earth Net Group?

Gao Gong fell into thought.

The so-called change of the Golden Rule, to put it plainly, is the replacement of the network’s underlying protocol, a task few programmers can endure without losing hair.

Of course, for the computing power of the Planet Host, this is no big deal.

And holding this ’transition’ on Cybertron is quite simple; the parties involved are ’Deep Net’ and ’Fortress,’ and having a third party to oversee is quite normal.

So, is the person from Cybertron or Fortress?

”You mean if I weren’t injured, I’d be replacing Yagami Suuji and heading to Cybertron? Are you planning to put my name under the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division? You don’t know my identity?”

Aside from Mr. G, one is still a Super Hacker Prototype ranked eighth on the wanted list.

”It doesn’t matter. Hackers taking refuge in Mother City is not unheard of,” Aramaki was indifferent. ”More importantly, your skills can evade Cybertron’s surveillance.”

This old man wasn’t lying this time. Whether it’s Gao Gong’s hacking skills or biotechnology, both can evade Mechanical Eyeliners.

Those who master such technology are not entirely nonexistent, but they’re mostly within giant biotech corporations, and the relationship between the giant corporations and Aramaki is like that of a wife and a mistress—an irreconcilable rivalry.

Gao Gong finally understood why he was approached.

”I’ll take this task!”

”Hmm?” Aramaki was stunned, asking in return, ”Just in your current state?”

”Of course, don’t let my size fool you. When push comes to shove, I can still hold the sky up!” Gao was full of confidence.

Aramaki fell silent for a moment, doubting for the first time if it was reckless to assign such an important task to such an unreliable person.

Maybe the person wasn’t as formidable as Lady Rose claimed, or perhaps he just had good kidneys?

...

At the same time, in Zone 8, within a sky-piercing skyscraper, the headquarters of the Pure White Shell, countless Bionic Men from the assembly line stood up as soon as they were completed, seamlessly entering work mode to maintain the operation of such a massive force.

In just this one building, the number of Bionic Men was no less than a million.

And in the highest level Bionic Development Laboratory, Black Rose stood with her arms crossed, allowing her secretary to insert four keys into the keyhole.

Then, the secretary carefully opened a box, inside which was a head.

Mr. D’s head!
