Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Endless ’data information’, encompassing all mechanical bodies, organisms, plugins, and prosthetic bodies.

Even someone as powerful as Eliza can’t possibly destroy it.

She indeed possesses mighty authority, but this authority is also restricted by the Golden Rule.

However, as a big data conceptual body, by slightly affecting the release order of this ’billion data’, the indirect influence is enough to disrupt the other two big data conceptual bodies.

A regular person in a certain Mechanical City had just taken off their ’network login device’, recalling their online memories, that vague yet extremely pleasant hazy feeling, suddenly, it seemed like they remembered something.

It was a bouncing ’purple light’, which seemed to flash by while they were enjoying the virtual experience.

What was that?

Similarly, on a battlefield, a corporate warrior’s mechanical thigh was emitting white smoke. He forcefully tapped a switch, with a ’creak’ sound, the outer energy clip popped open, and the scorched energy board ejected, soaring three meters away. The warrior gritted his teeth, limping as he went over to pick it up, examining it closely.

What just happened? Why did the energy frequency suddenly increase so much? Is the new ’ray gun’ broken? Is it still under warranty?

In the programming department of a certain enterprise, a Neural Editor was undergoing ’neural programming’, lines of code rapidly forming in his electronic vision, when suddenly, an advertisement popped up.

Damn! What the heck, a virus?!

Then his vision went black, and his electronic eye directly ’shut off’, faintly hearing someone say—

”Server, server’s burned out!”

In the depths of the Sea of Data, where endless communication channels exist, suddenly, a light shadow lit up, a difficult to describe ’purple light’ covering one data node after another, then mysteriously vanished.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the efficiency of signal base stations began to rise, as one signal base station increased, tens of thousands of base stations accelerated simultaneously, and the efficiency of burning ’cpu’ was terrifying.

In Cyber Space, a massive pipeline suddenly burst out of the sea, thrusting into a data node with a flash of light and shadow.

Similarly, on this planet, the battle prosthetic bodies in use now, including but not limited to ’weapon plugins’, ’melee prosthetic bodies’, ’combat chips’, ’military senses’, the data circulating on these prosthetic bodies uploaded to Cyber Space, transformed into a formidable bald giant over a hundred meters tall, with endless battle data over his muscular knotted surface, while on each of his arms, two blood-red large swords were entwined.

Finally, this monster opened its eyes, and through its eyes, seemingly witnessing endless battles, all of which were being staged in reality.

”My name—Kratos!”

This giant, seemingly the embodiment of endless battle data, pondered for a moment, then casually sliced with the blood-colored sword light in his hand, tearing open a Subconscious Realm, in this subconscious world, another purple light flashed by.

”Got it done!”

At this moment, Eliza delightedly opened her eyes, in her horizon, two powerful data fluctuations were entering layer after layer of electronic illusions according to her wishes, this was the ’simulation matrix’ she created by secretly learning from the Mother City.

”At least for an hour, those two old folks can’t interfere with us.”

”Seems like you weren’t idle either?”

Eliza looked at Gao Gong, in her perception, encrypted communication data had just been sent out from her own domain.

”Just a precaution,” Gao Gong smiled: ”Just in case.”

Miss Cyberpedia remained silent, her gaze cutting through the boundary of virtual and reality, reaching the real world, where a garbage island was composed of waste.

Metal waste, mechanical scrap, weapon junk, these products of the Cyber Era, discharged from each Mechanical City into the sea, year after year, would form such garbage islands. Within the metal waste pipelines and metal junk racks, a clever Iron Rat could be faintly seen scuttling around, constantly gnawing on metal with its sharp rows of teeth.

These semi-mechanical species could drift across the ocean, starting from the Radiation Zone, somehow drifting to this island less than ten miles in circumference, and thriving, in a way, a miracle of nature.

And now, a greater miracle was about to unfold on this island—if everything went smoothly.

...

In this region with a not insignificant amount of radiation, Dida felt extremely comfortable.

As invisible radiation rays fell on her skin, instead of feeling itchy, painful, or dizzy to the point of nausea, there was a sense of indescribable comfort, her skin occasionally glowing like a light stick.

She transformed from a mushroom girl into a glowing mushroom girl.

[Affected by a medium radiation environment, your blood volume +100 (temporary), blood volume recovery +10% (temporary)]

[Your Walter Energy +10 points (permanent)]

Mr. G had told her that unlike the other three systems, information energy, biological energy, and mechanical energy were common standards, but the ’energy system’ was different, there was no ’universal energy’, and the effects caused by different types of energy varied.

According to Dida’s own understanding, this was probably for ’system balance’. Mechanical bodies could assemble mechanisms to form different combat systems, carbon-based species could evolve continuously, eventually growing into a Hexagon Warrior.

But Energy Life couldn’t do that, it didn’t have a specific shell, but conversely, it could absorb combinations of different types of energy, producing different kinds of energy reactions, to execute various tactical changes.

And ’Walter Energy’ itself was a ray energy inclined towards ’exploration’ and ’attachment’, falling on different places would perform a ’mark reaction’.

Dida opened her palm, with fungus filaments like ’glowing yarn’ emerging, scattering like dandelions, they began to sprinkle everywhere. Every time they landed on a piece of metal waste, due to the different metal components, they would emit different colors of light.

At that moment, Dida resembled a ’Flower Fairy’, and wherever she passed, various lights flashed in succession, influenced by this, one by one Iron Rats emerged from the shadows, apart from the ’rats’, there were also Small Mechanical Bio Beasts like Self-destructive Scorpions and Electronic Spiders, even some radiation mutant fish with legs.

’It should be about time to come out,’ Dida thought to herself while scattering the fungus: ’According to the intel, ’No. 5 Destruction Form’ is hiding near this island, but what does such an advanced energy body look like? A Purple Potato Spirit? Purple Skin Monster? Or completely indistinguishable?’

While Dida was lost in thought, she didn’t notice that a hint of purple light had arisen in the eyes of each mechanical bio-beast.
