Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

From a technical perspective, carbon-based creatures don’t necessarily need metal elements, nor do they need calcium supplements, such as certain extraterrestrial tentacle monsters.

But undoubtedly, humans on the Mechanical Split Star are not included.

In fact, the intelligent species on the Mechanical Split Star are almost indistinguishable from humans on Earth.

Therefore, Aramaki’s internal mutation piqued Gao Gong’s interest—was it due to some special human experimentation, or cloning? Or perhaps, some unspeakable reason?

For instance, Gao Gong knows that the Arasaka Group has always been in contact with outer space, and the Arasaka Tower has the ability to send signals to extraterrestrial worlds.

Regrettably, possibly sensing the change in atmosphere, as an old hand at this, Arasaka only went through the motions of chatting for a bit before scurrying away—before leaving, he even thoughtfully swapped out luxury carriages for this group of Mother City officials.

’So, could Arasaka be a branch of the Memory Mother?’

All the way until boarding the vehicle, Gao Gong was pondering that the Arasaka Tower has the ability to communicate with outer space and possesses a wealth of intelligent data, which seems very suitable for the first wave of evolution for the ’Information Mother.’

If that’s the case, then the plan Gao Gong envisioned might need to be altered.

Initially, he only wanted to participate in the ’Arasaka Tower Fall Event’ of the planet plot, even sending ’Paradise Bird’ out to form a new ’11 Arhats,’ preparing to seize this planet task.

But if Arasaka is genuinely connected to the Memory Mother, then the significance of this matter must be elevated!

Perhaps right from the start, they could hit that Level 150 monster with something fierce!

Of course, all of this is merely Gao’s conjecture; whether it’s true or not is hard to say.

’At this stage, there should be many players eligible to join the Arasaka Group; it’s time to utilize them.’

After jotting down this idea in a little notebook, Gao Gong shifted his focus to the task panel.

[Your agility has surpassed 200 points, please choose a direction for enhancement: Lightning Dash/Vibration Mode/Random ’Mutation’ option]

The previous ’Mutation’ option had given Gao Gong quite a worthwhile reward, so after hesitating for a moment, he decisively chose ’Vibration Mode.’

Vibration Mode (Biological Specialization): Upon activating vibration mode, bioelectricity shifts into high frequency mode, stimulating various body parts, putting each organ into a tempering state. While in this state, toxin rejection +200%, restoration speed of every human body system +10%, and slightly reducing biological rejection.

Without further ado, investing 15 specialization points, Gao Gong elevated it to Tier 2.

Vibration Mode (Biological Specialization) (Tier 2 Level I): By adjusting the frequency of bioelectricity, one can actively modulate vibration, allowing each organ to enter different tempering states. This can effectively prevent signal intrusion from hackers, and possesses some degree of aggressiveness. In this state, toxin rejection +500%, restoration speed of every human body system +50%, actively impede biological rejection within a set range, and while stimulating certain special parts, it can possess female service functionality.

I-I didn’t choose this just to serve women.

Gao Gong’s gaze was firm, expression solemn, henceforth please call him a human-shaped walking vibration stick; he will provide high-quality human services for every rich lady, regardless of which part or channel, there’s absolutely no problem!!

Just as he was excited, suddenly his body jolted, huh? Did I activate a skill?

Oh, it’s not that; the interstellar train has set off.

For interstellar civilizations, travel methods are naturally more than just spaceships; in fact, while the interstellar railway may not count as giant structures, it is considered one of the basic infrastructure of the universe.

Its specific operation method is laying high-length vacuum tubes within planetary ranges to reduce pneumatic drag and break through the first cosmic speed; meanwhile, in outer space lay ’zero-gravity star orbit magnetic rings,’ also known as ’outer space stations,’ to accelerate or decelerate the train through magnetic suspension.

With the help of thousands of ’magnetic rings,’ the train reduces its speed from second cosmic velocity to first cosmic velocity, finally docking at a space station or asteroid base.

This is one method of interstellar travel.

Of course, this kind of ’interstellar train’ is limited to within a star system; to break through the star system, light-speed must be breached, and once that’s done, any conventional matter would disintegrate.

In Gao Gong’s impression, it was the Ancient Empire that had initially started laying star tracks, governing extraterrestrial territories by deploying troops through this method to asteroid belts and two satellites, although during the Second Mechanical War it was destroyed by the Mother City’s octopus army with antimatter bombs, and in the Cyber Era, the Mother City rebuilt the interstellar track, albeit with only one line that directly connects to Cybertron.

Generally speaking, whether it’s elevators, subways, or tracks, sudden stops or acceleration causes discomfort, yet in vacuum tracks such feelings are absent entirely, not even a sound.

And at the point when the train breaks through the second cosmic velocity to reach the third cosmic speed, which is 16.7km/s, Gao Gong’s view outside the window turns increasingly blurred, eventually transforming into a constellation of light spots, a mosaic-like scene.

However, in less than a second, accompanied by the mist forming in Gao Gong’s eyes, this scene reverted to normal.

In essence, despite having a variety of interstellar transportation tools, becoming a Tier 2 species remains the most essential prerequisite for ensuring interstellar travel.

Then Gao Gong heard an argument, turned his head, and saw Miss Pupil, the glasses-wearing girl, rare to have her face flushed red, glaring angrily at an AI. Meanwhile, Chapai, with his dead-fish eyes squinting, wore an amused expression, which in the eyes of those familiar signified him being serious.

”...Are you questioning the representative’s choice? Are you doubting our Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division?”

”Of course not,” the Super AI replied with a smile, its face composed of countless holographic projections blooming like countless crescent moons.

”I certainly trust Miss Suzi’s choice, but considering the situation we face, verifying the representative’s standard is only natural.”

”You want to test my standard?” Gao Gong asked surprised.

”Of course, ah, please don’t misunderstand, it’s not that I don’t trust you, I simply don’t trust humanity.”

”How should I address you?”

”Humanity Experiment Department’s Virtual Information Security Center Director, you may call me Chernobyl.”

’Beep beep——’

Name: Chernobyl

Race: Super AI

Level: 60

Personal Attributes: ???

Professional Knowledge: Virtual Information Security Level 10, Cyber Programming Language Level 10, Neural Network Transformation Level 10...

Skills: Advanced Network Slicing, Cyber Local Area Network, Super AI Center, Big Data Evolution, Cyber Killer Summoning...

Boss Template: Super Data Processor, Infinite Personality, Master of the Local Area, Hacker Killer

From the very beginning, Gao Gong noticed this level 60 AI, exaggeratedly possessing four boss templates.

Usually, an AI of this level has already transcended the ’AI’ tier, which is the artificial concept of artificial intelligence, reaching the level of virtual life.

And the life on the virtual side is nearly impossible to kill without targeted means.

This is a Yagami Suuji level strong presence!

”What do you say, dear ’Mr. Prototype’?”

Upon hearing this, many people’s gazes instantly became suspicious.

”What are you talking about, who’s the prototype?” Gao Gong said with a halfhearted smile.

”I don’t know either, I just quietly entered ’Miss Ke’s’ database and found a 33.1% probability of such a possibility.”

”Chernobyl!”

A furious shout from ’Miss Ke’ suddenly came from the communicator.

Gao Gong stared at the other party’s enigmatic face and suddenly grinned: ”Isn’t there still a 66.9% chance that I’m a good person?”

”Makes sense,” Chernobyl earnestly nodded, as light and shadow flickered around.

”But Mr. G, do you know how our network crime prevention center combats cybercrime?”

”No idea.”

”We use big data simulation to find, at some future point in time, candidates who have the mindset and aptitude to become hackers and eliminate them in advance to nip potential threats in the bud.”

”So having killed so many people, the security in cyberspace must be pretty good, right.”

”The number of new generation cyber hackers has decreased by 63% over the past decade,” said Chernobyl. ”But there are still some special hackers born beyond these calculations. We call such hackers variables.”

”In my view, Mr. G, you are a variable!”

The next moment, the entire interstellar train suddenly vanished, replaced by a world of data transformation, where light and shadow overlapped and various signals began to decompose.

”Do you know why I only acted now? It’s not because that annoying woman from the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division is absent, but because, in outer space, no one has a signal.”

”And we, the artificial intelligence, have a slight advantage here. For instance, our hardware can create a super local area network in a short time.”

’Dangerous network user detected!’

’Dangerous network user detected!’

’The human website you’re attempting to access contains malware, which may install dangerous programs. The Humanity Experiment Department will delete and process your humanity.’

’Personality deletion in progress, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%...’

Crimson blood dissolved into signaling deoxyhemoglobin, spewing red mist, then dissipating.

Cerebrospinal fluid decomposed into biological signals and was then formatted, appearing as if files were being decomposed in a recycle bin.

The digestive system was digested by the local area network, dissolved into a massive digestion pool.

Gao Gong’s entire being seemed to assimilate with Chernobyl, becoming an embodiment of countless holographic projections, and once the transformation completed, it meant he would entirely become a part of the other.

However, in the next moment, a violent electronic shock wave abruptly swept through, severing all holographic projections as it passed.

Staff Strike: Generates a ’5mm’ mental shock wave, Attack Power: user’s Intelligence*20 + Perception*20 + Consciousness*10, with a certain probability to trigger electronic damage.

Radiance gathered, as Rich Lady Love Prototype stood calmly on the sea of electronics, wielding the Civilized Stick.

Meanwhile, in reality, Gao Gong’s body was vibrating at an imperceptible high speed.
