Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

The household electronic defense wall and the corporate electronic defense wall are completely different things.

The former might only have the computational power of an intermediate AI.

The latter alone has hundreds of supportive AI in the rear.

After Ahong cracked the perimeter data maze, Gao Gong and his companion broke directly into the Welfare Institute’s main system.

Data flames burst out one after another, each flame automatically generating a protective program—monitoring recognition, virus scanning, automatic upgrade, proactive defense.

However, they were facing two freaks.

Even though Ahong was suffering kidney deficiency before adulthood, he unwittingly modified the memory of his Second Senior Brother.

Yet in the industry, he’s a standard young genius hacker, a member of the elite circle.

If measured by level, this guy’s hacker level is about 30.

If he seems weak, it’s solely because his opponent is too formidable, a 40 level King of Hackers—there are very few on the entire planet.

As for Gao Gong, needless to say, a freak-level hacker, have you ever seen a monster with ten hacker plugins?

Whatever Prosthetic Body hacker stream, Personality Modification stream, I’ll take them all!

The two charged forward, breaking through the second layer.

One giant electronic loophole after another appeared on the electronic defense wall.

However, in the third layer, Ahong and Gao Gong were both stopped.

A super huge elevator appeared before them, looking up, the top was almost invisible.

”Space Elevator?”

Gao Gong muttered, this kind of super structure connecting planets to space stations or satellites, in a sense, counts as a small marvel.

It’s generally Level 3 Civilizations that have the strength to construct such superstructures, and the blueprints for these buildings require at least three ’Professional Knowledge Chains’ to unveil.

Gao Gong was examining this small marvel, while Ahong was focused on the ’Space Elevator’ code.

”Strange, it has a somewhat ancient programming style, yet the technology is advanced.”

Gao Gong glanced at him and directly entered the elevator.

”Isn’t it obvious, this style of technology is clearly from that bunch of old Cloud Nobility.”

”Hey, you know this data migration is very dangerous right?”

”Yeah, are you coming in?”

”Doesn’t matter, I have plenty of personality backups anyway!”

Gao Gong was this aggressive because he worried time was running out.

The Mechanical Main Brain could descend at any moment.

The reason he created such a big commotion was to attract the ’Mechanic’.

He suspected that after rescuing Gao Yuanyuan, the mastermind behind would cause more trouble.

This was troublesome.

But if the Mechanical Main Brain of Nightless City discovers this experimental project is against the Mother City, then the other side would temporarily settle down.

Gao Gong was vying for this brief moment of calm.

’Which branch of Cloud Nobility has this style?’

Gao Gong pondered, since Cloud Nobility was qualified to engage with Alien Influence, mastering advanced technology beyond Level 2 Civilization isn’t surprising.

But what do they intend to do?

”Hey, have you noticed a problem?”

Ahong couldn’t help but speak, as Gao Gong remained silent.

”Our data code is constantly being copied.”

The four walls of the elevator were replaced with dense new codes, refreshing at the same speed as the ’Space Elevator’ ascended.

”So?”

”So once we step out, we might face thousands of you and me.”

”Unlimited cloud replication of antivirus program in the data teleportation channel, why don’t I have any recognition of this technique?”

Being a young genius exploring the forefront of hacker technology, Ahong rarely encountered techniques he had never seen.

”Of course you haven’t seen it, it’s alien antivirus software, you haven’t left the planet, foolish Planet Village dweller.”

”What, looking down on us country folk, are you from outer space?”

Their banter continued until a ’ding’, the elevator opened, and the duo entered an enormous ring-shaped space station, like a grand luxurious aerial garden, filled with pre-catastrophe plants, animals, and even alien flora, birds chirping, floral scents, earthly Heaven.

”Welcome to Cloud City,” the Dean said smilingly, behind her stood a dense, endless crowd.

Half were Gao Gong, half were Ahong.

”Hey, isn’t this number a bit exaggerated,” Ahong’s eye twitched.

Although hacker magical combat isn’t about numbers, this amount of antivirus programs, Ahong had only seen with those Black Wing Killers.

The cracking code in Ahong’s eyes rapidly generated, almost simultaneously, thousands of ’Defense Codes’ appeared blocking his attack.

Just this initial duel already had Ahong guessing, he was both excited and puzzled.

’Interesting, you actually obtained Cyber Space source code!’

The Dean’s expression stiffened slightly but soon smiled, looking at Gao Gong with enigmatic eyes.

”Why hinder your sister, she will achieve greater feats, her consciousness will ascend to this cloud world, becoming existence you can’t imagine.”

”Still can’t imagine it? Isn’t it just information life?” Gao Gong complained, ”And don’t misuse the word ’ascension’. In the universe, it’s a very serious matter; spouting nonsense can get you killed.”

The Dean’s face darkened; the next moment, countless Ahongs turned into streams of data light, initiating a virtual invasion, while countless Gao Gongs began to unleash their hacker skills: ’Remote Hacking’, ’System Manipulation’, ’Personality Modification’, ’Memory Search’, ’Emotion Slaves’.

Even if one person executed just one of these, it would add up to hundreds.

The two of them almost instantly found themselves in a perilous situation.

Ahong’s figure overlapped multiple times, with the mirror image algorithm in full force, transforming him into a human-train. Even so, many duplicates were still being eliminated by the antivirus programs.

As for Gao Gong, he was no longer in human form but a giant tentacle monster with countless spiritual nodes lighting up and extinguishing.

Whether it was ’personality modification’ or ’memory search’, they had little effect on him, and as for ’emotion slaves’, he was fortunate not to be enslaved by the ’brain-in-a-vat’.

Even so, the situation of them being besieged did not change.

”Hey, you must have a backup plan, right?” Ahong shouted, unable to hold on much longer against the siege.

”Judging by the time, it’s about right.”

Gao Gong muttered to himself. The next moment he looked up at the sky. Flames flickered above, and a series of shark bombs suddenly appeared.

On the largest bomb, Gox laughed heartily. Perhaps it was an illusion, but the crazy girl’s tattoos seemed to have increased in number.

Along with Gox’s laughter, a red glow emerged on the surface of each shark bomb.

”This might be a one-time strike.”

The clash between viruses and antivirus software is not a back-and-forth struggle, but a one-time strike. If you find my flaw, you can take me down, and vice versa.

The next moment, with the shark bombs descending, countless ’Ahongs’ and ’Gao Gongs’ were blown to bits.

It’s what happens when hackers breach the core and release a virus.

”Wow, a giant octopus!”

Gox saw Gao Gong transformed into a tentacle monster, her eyes brightened, and she rushed forward, pressing her face into one of the suckers.

”I love giant octopuses!”

The crazy girl was fond of Cthulhu.

At the same time, a mechanical monster also appeared in the welfare institute. Each time its mechanical gun struck the ground, electromagnetic pulses formed from bioelectricity began to affect the surrounding environment, causing numerous electrical and virtual devices to malfunction.

Within the mechanical armor, red light shone from where its eyes should be; the next moment, blood threads burst forth, piercing the second floor and connecting to each robot.

The monster gripped its giant gun with both hands, thrusting it down violently. ’Battle Banner Mode’ activated, and in the next moment, blood-red radiation power swept out using the blood threads as conduits, splitting every robot it touched into pieces.

Similar notifications appeared over twenty times.

The monster stretched out its hand, and its mechanical palm extended willingly, reaching across ten meters to grasp the window sill. In the next moment, its armored plates retracted, and its massive body leaped up, crashing through the window.

The bleak technological walls and various experimental instruments surrounded the center where a girl’s figure gradually disappeared.

The mechanical monster took a step forward, and dozens of laser beams shot out from both sides of the walls, crisscrossing and slicing it into pieces.

Hanging Street, in the modification room.

Gao Gong’s expression was calm, a foggy haze in his eyes as he muttered to himself.

”Indeed, caution does have its benefits.”

Wispy white mist appeared in the welfare institute at some unknown point.

In the mist, another mechanical monster emerged, while the corpse that had been cut to pieces turned into mist.

The mechanical monster shifted its steps, walking to the Dean lying nearby. With a twist of its long gun, it sliced off her head.

Electronic Brain Modified Human: A special model bionic man created for the Electronic Brain Plan, possessing intermediate AI computational power. Their existence seems to be for a more dangerous entity.

Dodging laser beams, the giant gun quickly swept aside the walls, destroying the laser emitters and dismantling the final defense line.

Gao Gong walked directly onto the operating table.

The figure of Gao Yuanyuan on the table had already become nearly transparent.

His palm passed over, only to find nothing to grasp.

”Disappointed, aren’t you?” a virtual projection suddenly emerged. Though the face was blurred, the tone was undeniably smug.

”Once the consciousness upload technology is activated, it cannot be stopped. This little girl is destined to become one of us.”

In cyber space, Gox suddenly let out a soft exclamation and extended her hand.

At this moment, her hand also began to turn transparent.

The mechanical monster stared at the other, its neck slightly bulging, pulling out ligaments, growing an Adam’s apple, temporarily forming a vocal cord, and speaking in a hoarse voice: ”It’s just a Level 3 Civilization’s immature consciousness upload; let me show you what true consciousness download is.”

The monster extended its hand, and in the next moment, countless neural bundles gushed from its palm, directly replacing Gao Yuanyuan’s original neural system.

The monster’s gaze suddenly extinguished; in the next moment, consciousness seemed to traverse layer upon layer of space, appearing above in space.

An unparalleled youth’s phantom appeared, adjusting his collar, revealing a smile that could dazzle married women, his slender fingers dancing gracefully like plucking stars, exuding the universe’s most mysterious dance.

The world’s incomprehensible dreams, all hidden within.

A girl existing only in imagination slowly took shape.
