Not Being a Trainer This Time

”Although we often get beaten badly by those powerful Pokemon, everyone is happy because battling Champion Level Pokemon is a rare opportunity for us!”

”Mr. Naoki is a great person!”

”...”

”You lost, I’m sorry, I can’t give you the Gym Badge.” Naoki looked at Cross and said.

”Oh!” Cross sighed first but quickly regained her spirits, ”The Levincia Gym is really strong! Being able to see the Legendary Pokemon in person and battle with it, this trip isn’t wasted!”

So this person really didn’t come to challenge the Gym for badges, huh?

But besides battling, there aren’t any better options.

Oh well, the next time we meet this kind of Trainer, let’s just use Pawmot and Zapdos to battle!

After a day’s battles ended, Naoki returned to the ranch.

As soon as he sat down, Lono took out the Rotom Phone to show him the online reviews about him.

Looking at the comments from netizens, Naoki fell silent.

How did the rumors spread like this?

”So, is what they say all true?” Lono asked with a smile.

”...Sort of!” Naoki thought for a moment and added, ”Actually, part of the reason is to help the Pokemon release excess energy.”

Back then, Gogoat had eaten too many Grassy Seeds, causing its body to be incredibly full of Grass Type Energy. If they didn’t vent through battles, they’d have to disco in the ranch.

”I see.” Lono seemed to understand something, then stood up with a cheerful smile, saying, ”Great work today! Let’s eat!”

”Okay.”

Naoki smiled and nodded, putting aside the matters of the Gym.

Looking at the Pokemon running around the house, he asked with a smile, ”How is Pawmot today?”

”Pawmo~”

”What about Dragonite and Cyclizar?”

Dragonite indicated that it had been sleeping under the tree all day.

Cyclizar sneezed; it had been chasing butterflies in the garden all day, inhaled a lot of pollen, and couldn’t help but sneeze constantly.

Naoki then turned his attention to other Pokemon.

Before he could ask, the Eevees ran over and began to tell him what they had been doing today.

Naoki patted their heads one by one, the living room filled with a happy atmosphere.

Not far away, Lono and his sister Indeedee were serving steaming dishes on the table.

Meanwhile, in the Unova Region, Eindoak.

Mew and Teddiursa were also preparing to eat their dinner.

They took the Pokemon food Naoki had prepared for them out of the bag, laid a small blanket on the ground, and placed the food and juice on it.

Next up was the happy dinner time!

The two Pokemon picked up the food with their paws, opened their mouths and took a bite, savoring the delicious taste, Mew and Teddiursa squinted their eyes happily.

In the dense bushes, a petite Pokemon with a pair of sky-blue eyes and large ”V” shaped ears was secretly observing those two unfamiliar Pokemon.

The food they’re eating looks so delicious...

”Nini!” Got it!

Its figure flickered and vanished from its original spot, going into stealth mode, and took the opportunity to stealthily grab the food placed beside the two Pokemon while they were distracted, then happily feasted behind a tree.

Mew and Teddiursa finished the Poffin in their mouths, then happily reached out to pick another, only to feel nothing.

Turning their heads to look, the place where they had just placed several Poffins now had only one left!

The two Pokemon were shocked.

”miu?!”

”Teddi?!”

Their dinner is missing!
