Not Being a Trainer This Time

Eternatus, Dynamax, Dynamax Point, the massive energy factory beneath Hammerlocke Stadium…

He understood, he understood Chairman Rose’s purpose!

Macro Cosmos is extracting Dynamax energy from Eternatus through the energy factory, and then supplying it to the entire Galar Region!

Chairman Rose… is he using the “Darkest Day”?

But the problem is the Darkest Day is uncontrollable. With the population density of Hammerlocke City, if Eternatus were to awaken one day, the entire city would be shrouded in immense danger.

“No, I need to go back and confirm this!”

Leon turned to Naoki and said, “Thank you very much, Naoki. I’ve just remembered something else I need to handle. Let’s call it a day here, and I’ll interview you again next time! Sonia, let’s head back!”

“So soon?” Sonia and Lono were chatting happily but suddenly heard Leon’s intention to return.

Leon nodded seriously: “I have new leads on the Wishing Star and Eternatus.”

Upon hearing this, Sonia quickly stood up to bid farewell to Lono.

Naoki raised a brow in surprise; what had Leon discovered?

“Regarding this matter, I will definitely come and tell you once I have everything figured out.” Leon said, turning to Naoki.

Naoki thought of Leon’s personality and smiled, “Alright, I’ll be waiting here for you. Also, if you need any help, feel free to contact me.”

After all, the storyline in the Galar Region changed because of him.

Right now, both young Yu and Hop are still kids. If Leon were to act impulsively and fall out with Chairman Rose, it would be disastrous if any bad results occurred.

Upon hearing this, Leon looked earnestly at Naoki. He didn’t refuse but genuinely said, “Thank you.”

Leon and Sonia came hastily and left just as quickly.

Naoki and his companion watched as their figures gradually disappeared until they were out of sight.

“Do you want to sleep a bit more?” Naoki thought the sound of the battle had woken Lono up.

“If I sleep any more, I’ll turn into a pig!” Lono looked with interest in the direction Leon and Sonia had left and curiously asked, “Do you know what the relationship between Sonia and Leon is?”

“Them?” Naoki replied, “They’re probably childhood friends who grew up together!”

“Wow!” Lono couldn’t help but gossip, “Does Leon like Sonia?”

Naoki: “…I don’t know.”

He thought of Zacian and Zamazenta’s matter and turned to find Calyrex, telling him about their plans to cooperate with Leon.

After listening, Calyrex nodded slightly, “That human seems suitable.”

Calyrex had secretly observed Leon’s character and nature before and wasn’t surprised about the choice of Zacian and Zamazenta to partner with him.

Just then, Naoki’s Rotom Phone suddenly rang.

Opening it, he found Sonia’s friend request.

Naoki was slightly taken aback, and after accepting, a message quickly came through from the other side.

[Sonia: By the way, Mr. Naoki, after Leon told me about the legend of the hero, I went to investigate in the Crown Tundra, and eventually discovered something in a hidden ruin.]

[Sonia: It seems to be something left by humans a thousand years ago, picture.jpg]

Naoki clicked into the picture and saw an ancient mural come into view.

After years of passage, the mural had already become mottled and decayed, but from the patterns above, Naoki instantly understood the content recorded on it.

The temple, a Pokemon with an enormous head, two horses, and two dog-like Pokemon crouching before the big-headed Pokemon.

And in another scene, a Pokemon resembling a one-eyed giant was sharing some item.

Further down, the item turned into a sword and a shield, handed by the big-headed Pokemon to the two large dog-like Pokemon.

[Sonia: I’ve almost completed my investigation on the legend of the King of Swords and King of the Shield. As for the third party that helped forge the Sword and Shield depicted on the mural, its information remains unknown. I plan to investigate it further. Mr. Naoki, do you know who that third party is?]

Naoki definitely knew.

Because that was Melmetal, who assisted Zacian and Zamazenta.

In past times, it provided the iron for Zacian and Zamazenta to forge Sword and Shield, and then quietly disappeared into the long river of time, with no further news since.
