1276 Chapter 1276: Victini_2 2026-11-03

There’s no doubt, this incredibly powerful Hydreigon was one-shotted by Jirachi!

The audience finally realized what happened and began to send barrage of comments.

[Arceus! The battle ended in an instant…]

[What move was that…]

[Wasn’t Jirachi supposed to be a non-combative Pokemon? Why did such terrifying power erupt from its body!]

[Even a Champion Level Hydreigon was one-shotted, just how strong is that Jirachi?]

[Before, someone said Zapdos wasn’t the Gym Leader’s strongest Pokemon and I didn’t believe it, now I do!]

The comment flow was continuous, while Naoki calmly looked at the boy opposite him and asked, “Do you want to continue?”

For the first time in his life, Riot felt a wave of panic, followed by a sense of inexplicable shame.

Why? Why is this person so strong? Then why did he previously use Pokemon like Pikachu and Jolteon to fight?

The pride of the nobility wouldn’t allow him to fall here.

He could still fight; not all of his Pokemon were down yet!

Riot withdrew the Hydreigon back into the Poke Ball and took out a second Poke Ball.

A flash of white light, and a Zoroark appeared on the battlefield.

However, three minutes later, Zoroark was also defeated by Jirachi’s Doom Desire.

The third match, Mienshao, instant!

The fourth match, Volcarona, instant!

The fifth match, Braviary, instant!

The sixth match, Haxorus, instant!

At that moment, the entire place was shocked!

Whether it’s the audience around the square or those watching the live stream, they all had the same thought.

That Jirachi… what terrifying power!

[Do you know what I most want to say now?]

[What?]

[If Jirachi is this strong, then just how strong are the Gym Leader’s other two Pokemon…]

With this, countless people began to speculate on what the remaining two Pokemon of the Gym Leader, which hadn’t been revealed yet, could be, and what kind of strength they possessed.

In the square.

Looking at his proud Pokemon all defeated by Jirachi’s move, Riot seemed to be hit by a huge blow.

He looked at the scene in disbelief, surely those online were all laughing at him now?

Seeing this, Naoki sighed, shook his head, and said, “I’m sorry, you didn’t pass the Gym’s challenge, I can’t give you the badge, please leave!”

Riot looked at the trainer opposite him, took a deep breath, and then withdrew his Pokemon back into the Poke Balls, turning around and leaving without a word.

His strength is still too weak… No, he has to continue to train.

Naoki scratched his head, unsure of where this person came from.

Just baffling…

However, it was almost time to get off work, and he should head home!

“Jirachi, thank you for your hard work!” Naoki patted Jirachi’s small head.

Jirachi happily flew around Naoki: “Helping Naoki is so great! Jirachi loves to see Naoki happy!”

Naoki grinned: “With you all around, I’m happy every day.”

As the last trainer left, the Levincia Gym finally settled down.

Naoki turned off the live stream, stayed at the gym until the end of his shift, and then hurried back to the ranch.

Seeing Koraidon coming to greet him home, Naoki placed a big kiss on its forehead.

“Argh!”

Lono brought out Ogerpon and the others to welcome him, her eyes bright: “Back?”

“Yeah.”

The couple embraced briefly, and Lono went to the room to get Naoki his slippers: “Dinner’s ready, hurry up and wash your hands and then eat!”

Naoki entered the house, and sure enough, there was a sumptuous dinner on the table, filling his heart with warmth, prompting him to say:

“It doesn’t have to be so tiring, you could wait for me to come back before making dinner.”

“What are you talking about? I’m at home all day, almost growing moss! It’s no trouble at all!” Lono grinned, showing her white teeth: “This is just a small thing!”

Naoki chuckled: “Alright, I just don’t want you to tire yourself out.”

He turned to wash his hands, then returned to the table to have dinner with everyone.

Lono enthusiastically talked about what happened at the ranch while Naoki was away.

For instance, Dragonite received a gift from Mrs. Dante while delivering packages today.

Flutter Mane stayed in the corner observing silently all day, no one knew what it was up to.

Ogerpon invited her to a Pokemon-hosted tea party today.

There were trainers challenging Sylveon’s Hero’s Trial and such.

Naoki listened intently, occasionally teasing the Pokemon involved a little.

Just then, the Rotom Phone placed beside Naoki unexpectedly rang.

Naoki picked it up and saw it was Geeta.

He answered, and Geeta’s face appeared on the screen.

“Naoki, you did great today!” Geeta started with a compliment.

Naoki was puzzled.

“You defeated the challenger, proving the strength of our Paldea Region gym leaders to them, well done!”

Upon hearing these words, Naoki immediately understood what had happened.

“So that person really came for a challenge?”

Geeta nodded: “That trainer is from a noble family in the Unova Region, he’s often arrogant, looks down on everyone, and was criticized by netizens for doubting your strength.”

“He probably never experienced this before, so he came to challenge you, wanting to defeat you to prove his strength to those netizens.”

Naoki: “…”

For a moment, he didn’t know what to say.

But in the Pokemon World, there indeed exist such arrogant nobles.

In anime, many have remarked on Pallet Town being a backwater when meeting Ash for the first time, calling him a country bumpkin or something.

“Luckily you beat him.” Geeta said with a smile: “I knew I wasn’t wrong about you!”
