Not Being a Trainer This Time

Steelix immediately raised its tail and smashed it heavily on the ground, with a thunderous sound, the earth caved in, and its huge body sank a few inches, finally steadying its figure.

Naoki observed Steelix’s condition, seeing Steelix voluntarily embedding itself into the ground to stabilize, he smiled slightly, then calmly said: ”Change the wind direction, use Heat Wave!”

The wind direction on the field suddenly stalled.

Seeing this situation, Jinshou cursed inwardly, quickly ordering: ”Steelix, Dig!”

However, it was too late.

The air suddenly became hot, the temperature rose constantly, and the scorching breath made the surroundings appear illusory.

In an instant, the scorching airflow swept over Steelix’s body. Even though it burrowed into the ground, the heat wave penetrated the entrance, following Steelix like a bone-eating maggot.

The high temperature caused Steelix’s body to twist and tremble uncontrollably, its huge tail jerked, and its massive body burst out of the ground, struggling painfully in the hot air.

Soon, Steelix fell silent.

”Whistle!” The referee stepped forward to inspect Steelix’s condition, then blew the whistle: ”Steelix is unable to battle, this match is won by Gym Leader Naoki!”

Jinshou took a deep breath, then released his second Pokemon from the Galar Region, the Water Type Starter Pokemon, Inteleon.

Three minutes later, Inteleon was consumed by Zapdos’s Thunder.

Next up was a third Pokemon, Mamoswine.

However, this time, it was less than three minutes before Mamoswine was swallowed by Zapdos’s Heat Wave, suffering the same fate as Steelix.

When Jinshou’s last Pokemon lost its ability to battle, the audience was silent.

Such a terrifying power!

That Zapdos accomplished a sweep once again!

At this moment, not only around the square, even the viewers in the livestream were bewildered.

Meanwhile, everyone couldn’t help but have a terrifying thought:

If Zapdos is already this powerful, what kind of terrifying strength do the remaining three Pokemon have?

Shocked, viewers frantically clicked the follow button and began showering the stream with rewards.

There’s no one who doesn’t like powerful Trainers, especially those who have the strength to capture and command Legendary Pokemon.

Naoki was unaware of everything happening in the livestream.

After the third Trainer left, Gym staff member Anya came forward and said:

”Gym Leader, the field has been destroyed like this, it’s already impossible to continue battling...”

Naoki also noticed that scene, with both Earthquake and Dig, the whole square was already in ruins.

”It is estimated to take five hours for repairs, during this time, please take your Pokemon for a rest.” Anya said.

Upon hearing, Naoki agreed, he summoned his Rotom Phone, closed the livestream, and prepared to go home until the battle field was repaired before coming back to work.

Noon, Geeta finished her League work, suddenly remembered Naoki was apparently at Levincia Gym today as the Gym Leader.

She couldn’t help but find Rika to inquire about the news.

”How did Naoki do this morning? Any excellent Trainers passed the Gym assessment?” Geeta asked.

Rika: ”...Not a single one.”

Geeta got interested immediately: ”Hmm? What’s going on?”

”Naoki sent out the Legendary Pokemon Zapdos as his third Pokemon, and all challenging Trainers were defeated by Zapdos.” Rika paused, then continued: ”At this rate, I feel like no Trainer will be able to pass Levincia Gym’s assessment...”

Upon hearing this, Geeta’s eyebrows immediately started twitching.
