Not Being a Trainer This Time

“What’s with that trainer? He doesn’t seem to be here for a serious Gym challenge!”

“His eyes are so arrogant; it feels like he’s looking at country bumpkins. I don’t like it…”

Naoki sighed slowly.

He initially thought he’d show some courtesy since this person was under Alder, but now it seemed unnecessary.

“As you wish,” Naoki said.

The young man’s wrist flicked, and a Luxury Ball was thrown into the sky.

With a flash of white light, a Pokemon with three heads, covered in blue-black fur, and three pairs of wings appeared on the battlefield.

It’s… Hydreigon!

It’s said this Pokemon is extremely ferocious, flying continuously in the air, considering all moving objects as enemies and attacking them, devouring everything with its three heads.

“Tsk, starting off with a pseudo-legendary Pokemon from the Unova Region, this trainer is indeed extraordinary!” Naoki thought to himself.

Riot noticed the gaze towards his Hydreigon and felt immense pride and arrogance.

“Your move,” he said.

Naoki didn’t hesitate, immediately taking out a Poke Ball.

Zapdos has been battling all day and must be exhausted.

If that’s the case, then this Pokemon should take the stage!

A flash of white light caught everyone’s attention as a cute, star-shaped Pokemon appeared opposite the menacing Hydreigon.

Seeing this Pokemon, the live stream viewers were stunned, quickly typing questions, as they had never seen such a Pokemon before.

[???]

[Another new Pokemon!]

[What kind of Pokemon is it?]

Soon, someone recognized it by its appearance as Jirachi.

[I know, it’s Jirachi! The legendary Wishing Star, a Pokemon that can make any wish come true! But it seems strange… It’s said Jirachi only wakes for seven days every thousand years. Could it be in those seven days now?]

[Jirachi…]

If that’s true, Jirachi is an incredibly rare Pokemon!

Awakening once every thousand years, and only for seven days each time—this Pokemon’s rarity even surpasses legendary Pokemon like Zapdos!

And Mr. Naoki can even capture such a Pokemon… amazing!

But, this Jirachi looks weak. Judging by its appearance, it doesn’t seem to be a Pokemon skilled in battle.

Moreover, sleeping a thousand years with no special training, its strength is probably underdeveloped.

Could a Pokemon like this be a match for the battle-hardened Hydreigon, whose strength likely reaches Champion Level?

Some couldn’t help but worry for Naoki.

In the square, accompanied by the referee’s whistle, the match was officially on!

Riot decided to go aggressive.

“Hydreigon, use Crunch!”

Hydreigon roared, its three pairs of wings flapping fiercely, charging towards Jirachi.

“Jirachi, Doom Desire.”

Jirachi looked gently at the approaching Hydreigon, blinked its eyes, and said:

“It’ll hurt a lot next, but Jirachi has to help Naoki, so sorry, bear with it!”

Feeling provoked, Hydreigon immediately lost its mind, falling into a rage.

The moment Jirachi finished speaking, the third eye on its forehead opened suddenly.

A vast ocean-like energy surged quickly from it, transforming into a pure milky-white light, enveloping Jirachi’s small body.

In a blink, Jirachi became a massive ball of light, and Hydreigon couldn’t stop and crashed straight into it.

The next second, the light ball moved, holding Hydreigon, accelerating rapidly towards the sky.

The dazzling white light made Jirachi appear as bright as the sun.

“Hydreigon!” Riot frowned.

When the light ball reached a certain height, it suddenly exploded in the air.

The explosion was not only Jirachi’s Steel Type energy but also contained the immense energy from the millennial comet absorbed by Jirachi.

In an instant, like a small nuclear bomb, the sky swirled up with a white halo, blossoming like fireworks.

Seeing this, the audience and live stream viewers widened their eyes, stunned, staring in disbelief.

Soon after, a shadow fell like a kite with a broken string from the sky, crashing hard onto the battlefield.

The massive impact formed a crater in the square, dust swirling, with Hydreigon lying at the bottom, eyes closed, tongue lolling out crookedly.

One-hit KO!

“Hydreigon is unable to battle!” The referee quickly reacted, checked Hydreigon’s condition, then announced the battle result.

“Hydreigon!”

Riot’s eyes widened, unable to believe what he was seeing.

The “weak” Jirachi slowly descended, looking towards them in innocent bewilderment.
