Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 155: Chapter 144: Mastering Numerous Powerful Techniques

In the bedroom.

Lu Li began to manipulate the air using his spiritual power.

Unlike before, he didn’t target specific gases; instead, he encompassed and moved all the air in front of him.

Then...

Hmm, he felt a sense of suffocation.

All the air in front was moved away.

Other air couldn’t quickly fill in.

The inability to breathe naturally leads to a feeling of suffocation, right?

”Oh?” Lu Li had a bold idea immediately, ”If I continuously move the air away from around people, could I make them suffocate to death instantly?”

He just experienced a brief moment of suffocation.

Thus, Lu Li was very certain that his idea was correct.

He hadn’t expected to unintentionally develop another trump card while experimenting with his physical knowledge.

Though this method doesn’t unleash great power, it would be easy and undetectable to kill someone, with no one knowing who did it.

”Hmm, this move is not bad. If someone offends me in the future, I just won’t let them breathe.”

Lu Li thought to himself in amusement.

He continued to explore ways to use the air as a weapon.

He maximized his spiritual power.

Soon, the nearby eleven to twelve cubic meters of air was completely moved.

At this time, Lu Li felt a slight strain, understanding that this was about the limit he could control.

Hmm, under standard atmospheric pressure, the mass of one cubic meter of air is roughly 1.3 kilograms, slightly less than that.

The weight his current spiritual power could freely maneuver was about this much, so naturally, there was a feeling of strain.

Lu Li wasn’t discouraged. He tried to make the air move at high speed to form a ”wall” in front of him.

Initially, the air was easily moved, but because it was his first attempt, forming an ”air wall” was challenging, and it just resulted in gusts of ”strong wind” blowing.

As he continued trying, Lu Li gradually became adept.

About four or five minutes later, he successfully formed an ”air wall” that moved swiftly in front of him.

Lu Li didn’t know yet how effective the ”air wall” was in defense.

He looked around, then casually pinched off a corner of the bedside table and controlled it with spiritual power, sending it rushing towards the ”air wall” at high speed.

The speed was about as fast as a bullet from a handgun.

The next moment, Lu Li witnessed a terrifying scene.

The corner of wood hit the ”air wall” and was instantly shattered into pieces by the powerful air currents.

Immediately, the fragments were crushed into powder by the fast-moving air!

”Wh-what?” Lu Li was slightly surprised, ”The kinetic energy of this wood piece was almost akin to the maximum power of a handgun bullet, yet it couldn’t break through the air wall and was instead pulverized?”

At this moment, he finally realized the power of the ”air wall”!

Lu Li blinked, ”The object just tested was wood. Let me see if iron can make it through.”

Thinking of this, he rummaged through the wardrobe, took a hook from a hanger, crushed it into a ball, and once again used spiritual power to send it crashing towards the air wall.

Bang!

A dull sound abruptly resonated.

Lu Li watched as the ball of iron came to a halt.

Although the air wall was invisible and intangible, he could see that the ball of iron, propelled by spiritual power at high speed, caused the air wall to indent about two to three millimeters.

Yet, it only indented about two to three millimeters and could not penetrate further.

Furthermore, under the force of the rapidly moving air, the ball of iron started to develop small cracks, but unlike the wooden piece earlier, it wasn’t pulverized.

”Hiss, considering this,” Lu Li involuntarily imagined scenes from ”The Matrix,” ”if a large group of people were to shoot at me with guns, I could easily form an air wall in front to block all the bullets!”

Of course, the kinetic energy of the iron ball being tested currently was roughly equivalent to a large-caliber handgun.

Lu Li decided to test whether a rifle’s power could be blocked.

He once again used spiritual power, allowing the iron ball to leave the air wall, reaching the energy of a rifle, and slammed it hard again.

The result was not much different from before.

Though the air wall was indented slightly deeper, it still couldn’t breach the defense instantly!

Moreover, this time, the iron ball, perhaps due to the high impact force, cracked upon hitting the air wall.

This might be related to the fact that the iron ball was crushed into a mass.

If it was a solid piece of iron, maybe it wouldn’t have been like that.

But regardless of how, Lu Li was overjoyed with the test result.

”In this case, as long as I can create an air wall, I can ignore current rifles as well!”

Lu Li felt very excited about this.

His physical body could currently only withstand shots from large-caliber handguns.

If it were rifle shooting, the flesh would be unable to withstand it.

Now that the air wall is developed, it’s different.

This thing can help me block bullets from rifle shots!

Moreover, combined with my body’s strong defensive capability, Lu Li has every reason to believe that even if someone were to secretly use a sniper rifle against me, even if the bullet breaks through the air wall, its kinetic energy would be greatly reduced, posing no lethal threat!

”Great!” Lu Li thought to himself excitedly, ”My means of self-defense has significantly improved!”

The defensive capability of the air wall has been roughly tested.

Lu Li ceased his spiritual power control, allowing the air to return to its usual flowing state.

Then, he once again used his spiritual power to condense an air palm, approximately the size of his own hand.

He looked out the window and decided to set his experiment target on a water fir tree about as thick as a bowl’s rim.

With that thought in mind, Lu Li directed the air palm to fiercely crash into the water fir tree.

A terrifying scene unfolded on its own!

The water fir tree was directly shattered by the air palm.

The impacted area turned to dust!

”Damn!” Lu Li’s eyes widened, ”If this power hits a person, they would be in pieces, wouldn’t they?”

Perhaps the destructive range of the air palm isn’t as extensive as a bomb, but the power of a single strike is unbelievably potent!

Lu Li even considered that even a thinner steel plate might be shattered by the air palm!

”Amazing! The air palm is incredible!”

Lu Li felt greatly inspired, ”What if I could make the air form into sharp ’shapes’ to increase its penetrative ability?”

Unfortunately, there was no suitable target nearby for the experiment, as he wanted to find a steel plate to test on, but how could he have one at home?

”Forget it, I’ll try it out later, and continue to ponder using physical knowledge to develop other methods.”

Lu Li started to think about other physical knowledge again.

And indeed, he gained plenty of other insights.

For instance, the principles of lasers.

This method involves an energy supply system that drives the emission of high-energy, highly focused, and coherent laser beams.

Lu Li’s microscopic vision, though unable to clearly see photons at present, could vaguely perceive the ”radiance” of photons.

After attempting, he discovered that he could indeed use spiritual power to arrange photons into the same frequency, same phase, and same polarisation direction, thus forming a laser beam.

It’s just that the lack of clear sight made it difficult to control, resulting in a laser of relatively low power.

It could probably only penetrate materials as thick as a book.

While sufficient to kill, it was hard to achieve a powerful explosion.

”Once my microscopic vision improves to the point of clearly seeing photons, I should be able to harness more photons, thus doubling the laser’s power.”

Lu Li could imagine that once he could see photons clearly, he could replicate the laser-eye of his nation’s renowned hero.

He tirelessly continued to develop and use spiritual power to create greater forces.

And lo and behold, he developed five or six extraordinarily powerful abilities from merely reading basic physical knowledge.

Besides the initial air wall and laser, he also utilised the principles of heat to develop a powerful superpower that raises temperature instantly to one or two thousand degrees.

However, this method consumes a lot of spiritual power, suitable only for bursts, not extended battles.

Additionally, using the principles of ultrasonics and infrasound, Lu Li developed sound wave attacks.

For instance, ultrasonic attacks could cause body tissues of a large group to heat and destroy internal structures in a short time, even leading to death.

As for infrasound attacks, they could severely damage the heart, brain, lungs, and other organs across a wide range, even ending lives instantly.

These methods are exceedingly powerful.

The key point is, Lu Li only skimmed through some basic physical knowledge, yet gained such profound inspiration, developing numerous methods.

He has every reason to believe that if his microscopic vision could observe atom, ion, and photon forms, he could possibly transform into a human-shaped nuclear weapon just as guessed before.

”Even... as long as the spiritual power is mighty enough, paired with various physical knowledge, I could unleash world-ending power, possibly destroying a nation with just a ’thought’!”

Lu Li pondered secretly.

He knew achieving the realm where a single thought could obliterate a nation was a long journey, but with persistence, he would surely reach such a level.

Nevertheless, he felt he had gained a lot tonight.

”Truly, knowledge is power, without a doubt.”

Lu Li couldn’t help but marvel inwardly; some basic physical knowledge could significantly enhance his combat power already.

Once he learns advanced physical knowledge, he would surely be able to develop even more powerful methods from it.

As for tonight, it was getting late.

He decided not to study further.

Tomorrow, he’ll go to study with Shen Xia or Wu Er Mountain.

Lu Li fantasized about the day he could destroy heaven and earth before closing his eyes to sleep.

Once he could truly destroy heaven and earth one day, he would become the ruler of this world!
