Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2487 Throwing A Suggestion

”Isnʼt it Nadiaʼs turn?”

Sophie and Niera uttered at the same time before they looked at each other with some astonishment.

They panicked because they hadnʼt entered Immortal Stage yet, but they were confident that they could enter it within three weeks, which was basically around two hundred days in the palace. However, their words had already left their mouth, so there was nothing they could do about it.

”Nadia?” Davis couldnʼt help but smile, ”I plan to marry her among the wolves of the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan.”

”...!?”

Evelynn and the others became stunned. Wasnʼt that too daring?

”Why?” She couldnʼt help but ask.

”Because I want to see if theyʼre really worth our time.” Nadia, who was seated together with Isabella and Evelynn, answered, ”Iʼm a death-attributed wolf, but theyʼre light-attributed wolves. They wouldnʼt target me or even bother with me, but the fact that they contacted master based on the fact that Iʼm an Emperor-Tier Beast does not make sense, even if Everlight and her ancestor told otherwise.”

”Yes...” Davis continued, ”... because Nadia requested it herself, and Iʼm going to make it grand and make it a test for the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan and see if theyʼre going to protect or kill or perhaps even hand us over to the other powers.”

He wasnʼt lying. After leaving the West Ascendance Monument, Nadia was suspicious about the Starlight Jade Wolf Kingʼs true intent like him, so they reached this conclusion that was not so safe but as expected of Nadia. She wasnʼt afraid of danger, and he also wanted to confirm if the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan was truly an ally to him.

”Thatʼs too dangerous. I wonʼt allow it.” However, Evelynn shook her head as she grasped Nadiaʼs hand.

It caused Nadia to look at Evelynn with a gratifying smile. Even though she was powerful, Evelynn still cared for her as her big sister. Just as he was about to say that it was fine, Evelynn continued.

”We already acknowledge Nadia as our sister. Thereʼs no need to cause Nadiaʼs wedding into a blood-stained one. Even if the Starlight Jade Wolves accept you two, I donʼt want to see any problems, especially on our sisterʼs wedding day. I wonʼt accept this nonsense.”

”Yeah,” Sophie also nodded, ”Nadiaʼs wedding doesnʼt deserve to be disturbed by any other matter. She has saved us many times and even took care of our sistersʼ ascension to immortality. We must come together to wish her the best.”

”Indeed.” Niera agreed, ”If itʼs just for testing the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan, we can choose other methods. Thereʼs no need to go that far.”

The others also declared their unwillingness to use Nadiaʼs marriage as a stepping stone to something else.

”You all...”

Nadia didnʼt really expect other people to be this thoughtful of her. The others were all humans, so she didnʼt exactly see them as rivals as she did for Everlight. Rather, she was beginning to warm up to them as she interacted with them more, especially in her tiny form, where she liked to be cuddled and caressed.

She was mainly training herself to suppress and better control her Emperor-Tier Bloodline, but only Davis and Evelynn knew about that, as one could tell while the other happened to be in the same situation as her, being an Emperor-Tier Fey and all. However, it was unexpected for everyone to treat her with care as she instead expected them to use her.

For the first time, she felt like she could see eye to eye with them, the racial wall of human and magical beast seemingly disappearing between them.

Hearing their voices for Nadia, Davis was also embarrassed. He already knew that this was not a brilliant plan, but it was still something needed.

”Well, this plan was put together as I said that I was going to visit them once to show my sincerity, but if youʼre all against it, Iʼll not do it. What do you say, Nadia?”

”If big sister says otherwise and the others are naturally against it, then it should be followed.”

Nadia spoke with a clear voice, one that was without hesitation that made Evelynn and the others smile.

”Good, I like it when you all come together like this.” Davis also nodded.

”I heard that there are all kinds of powers here from Zora Luan. Perhaps, we can invite some wolves to raise Nadiaʼs status, but it really doesnʼt matter, I guess. In any case, Iʼll have my marriage with Nadia as soon as I marry one of you two, so forget about pleasantries and make up your mind.”

”...”

Sophie and Niera couldnʼt help but blush again as they saw each other in the corner of their eyes before looking away.

To Davis, it was funny yet moving at the same time.

Both of them werenʼt willing to push aside the other, but at the same time, they wanted to accept the opportunity he had given them badly. Their bond had become binding to their answers, even though they had already given it back then that Niera would go first to marry him.

He was glad that he asked again, as he could sense their desire to control themselves from marrying him had almost reached a limit. It seemed that a year of separation was too much to bear.

Suddenly, he couldnʼt help but think of something and felt that it wouldnʼt be bad for a try, his expression almost turning into a joyful leer.

”Alright, Iʼll take a step back and wed both of you at the same time. How about that?”

”...!?”

Sophie and Niera became stunned. The others also couldnʼt help but raise their brows in shock before they glanced at Davis with amused expressions.

”Bold.” Shirley couldnʼt help but whistle as she made a perverted expression.

”Husband, can you kindly explain how you are taking a step back in this matter? Can you be not this shameless, wanting to eat two heavenly swans at the same time?”

Mingzhiʼs expression was full of disdain as she exposed him. It caused Davisʼs expression to change as he turned to glare at her.

”It seems that you donʼt want this exalted genius anymore?”

”You... you are indeed shameless!”

He was threatening her with no intimacy, causing the others to laugh while she pouted with some unease, unable to determine if he was really offended by her words.

”Iʼm just kidding. How can I not want you, Mingzhi?”

Davis chuckled, ”However, Iʼm serious about marrying Sophie and Niera together. You must already know that this is my seventh marriage, so why not do it differently while weʼre at it? Besides, is it really a secret that Iʼm lusting after Sophie and Niera at the same time?”

Davisʼs voice was full of righteousness as he expounded his desires.

Mingzhiʼs expression eased over his words, and she let him go.

The others were amused, but their teasing gazes didnʼt fall on him but on Sophie and Niera, who practically had their heads down now, but their necks were already painted crimson, so it could be seen that they were blushing beyond compare. Perhaps, they might even faint if they couldnʼt calm themselves.

Just like anger could cause energy circulation to become unstable and cause them to cough blood, other emotions did have their own effects on oneʼs body.

”If that is what... my sweetheart wants... then I agree.”

”I agree... as well.”

Niera and Sophie agreed as they slowly raised their heads with an enchanted blush, causing Evelynn and the others to be shocked as they turned to look at Davis. What kind of magic spell had he cast them to make them fall into his trap?

Davis was also aghast but in an overexcited way. He hurriedly controlled his horny body from reacting to their words and forced a smile out.

”Then thatʼs decided. Evelynn, you- well, youʼre going to become busier. Shirley, I can leave the marriage arrangements to you, right?”

”Me?” Shirley stood up as her face lit up before she cupped her hands and bowed.

”Just leave it to me, my Emperor. I promise to spice it up as needed~”

”Fifth sister!”

Sophie and Niera clenched their teeth as they eyed her with embarrassment etched onto their faces.

”Iʼll also help.”

”Us too.”

Natalya, Bylai, and Zestria volunteered. Since they entered the Immortal Stage, they would have to solidify their foundations for a period of time. Besides, if they wanted to better their chances at creating a Heaven Immortal Vessel, then the lower their cultivation, the better the results, as the resources required would be less compared to what they would need at a higher cultivation level.

”Alright, leave the master room for me and go choose your own rooms. I wonʼt take all your time anymore.”

”Eh?” Shirley pursed her lips, ”Stay with us more, please. We have just seen you. If you leave again, our hearts will ache...”

”...” Davis pursed his lips as he saw each and every one of their gazes.

He wanted to talk privately with Clara, but their intent to seek him for affection moved him. His figure that had almost stood up sat back again on the throne before he nodded at her.

”Fine then. Shirley, Iʼm interested in your treasures. Will you mind taking them out for us to see?”

”Hehe~ I donʼt mind. In fact, letʼs go inside.”

Shirley giggled as she took out a crimson ring with a phoenix wing, causing the others to become astonished by the fantastical design. It was so intricately crafted that they could even imagine the essence of the phoenixʼs aura within it.

Especially those with phoenix blood could sense it more than the others.

”Oh? Itʼs a life ring?” Davis raised his brows in wonder.

”I think so, but itʼs too intricately designed for me to tell if this immortal treasury ring is a spatial ring or a life ring. In any case, letʼs go inside to see what is in store for us~”

Shirley grinned while her words caused everyone to become excited as though they were children. As cultivators, it wouldnʼt be truthful of them if they didnʼt react to the word treasures!
