Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2448 Central

Davis, Ellia, and Myria arrived before a hall. They were inside a spacious room that seemed to be a teleportation formation, causing Davisʼs eyes to lift. However, Ellia and Myria didnʼt seem surprised as they walked out at the same time together.

However, walking past Davis, Ellia quickly stopped and returned to him, grabbing his hand.

”Ellia, although I love your company, you donʼt need to be so close here, causing me to acquire the ire of some disciples who donʼt know what theyʼre going to deal with.”

”What do they know? And do I look like I care for their degraded minds? Iʼm busy making up for the time I wasnʼt able to be with you, much less touch you. Hmph~” Ellia cutely looked away, causing Davis to grin.

He couldnʼt help but lean and lay a soft kiss on her fair cheek, causing her to giggle lightly.

Myria didnʼt even pay attention to them as she exited the room and headed straight to somewhere where Davis and Ellia were forced to catch up after their flirtatious activity. They exited a palace and came across an astonishing sight. There were numerous floating islands and thousands of residences spread across them like cities.

There were also hundreds of palaces floating in the skies and established upon floating peaks, creating a massive immersing scenery.

”The headquarters of the Aurora Cloud Gate...” Davisʼs eyes narrowed as he took in the scenery and the rich heaven and earth energy.

No matter how he thought, this place couldnʼt be the easternmost branch as everything here seemed to be made from Immortal Emperor Grade Ores and Materials. It was practically unassailable from his viewpoint, causing him to be deeply shocked.

”You three. Who are you? How come youʼre appearing from this palace?”

Suddenly, a startled voice abruptly interrupted them, causing their heads to turn as they looked at a white-robed man who appeared to have just awoken from his sleep as he stood up from a chair.

”What? Can it be that you three sneaked in!?” He pointed at them, his eyes wide with shock.

ʼAn Immortal King…ʼ Davis pursed his lips, wondering how he was going to deal with this.

There was a reason why he wanted to start his way from a branch, but Myria took him straight to the headquarters, causing him to wryly smile as he opened his mouth.

”Well-”

However, Myria had already started walking past him. She didnʼt even stop as she threw a badge at that Immortal King as she flicked her hand, her sleeves dancing like the clouds moving across the sky.

”This… this is...”

The Immortal Kingʼs eyes went wide as he recognized the status plate. How could he not recognize? He was guarding the gateway to that personʼs palace for thousands of years!

Just as he was stunned by how this appeared in the hands of the flawless beauty, it abruptly disappeared from his hand.

Unceremoniously, Myria grabbed that badge back from that Immortal King with her soul force and returned it to her spatial ring. The whole time, she didnʼt even glance a look back. Her actions and movements were completely flawless and elegant that Davis couldnʼt help but feel strange.

Watching her take a step forward and fly past the cliff as she glided across the skies, his eyes stayed on her figure before he also jumped across and followed her.

Elliaʼs gaze fell from Davis to Myria, her expression becoming confused. She wondered if she imagined things, but she kept silent.

In all this, the Immortal Kingʼs words kept echoing across the skies, but the three of them paid no heed to it.

”I… I canʼt believe this… Saintess… Saintess has accepted a new disciple…?” He muttered to himself after failing to get their attention, his face blushing with some excitement.

Quickly, a soul body appeared out of him as it disappeared. It was unknown where it went.

On the other hand, Davis, Myria, and Ellia traversed across the skies, their gazes down as they admired the sectʼs scenery. Countless disciples could be seen gathering, bantering, running, flying, and sparring.

Davis didnʼt have many thoughts on them. He wanted to know where he would have to go in order to promote himself to a true disciple so that he could have better privileges and better resources, not to mention a better residence.

With how the residences were laid out with exquisite alignment that catered to many untold formations, he could see that perhaps almost every disciple had their own residence, from smaller to bigger, and obviously, he wanted a place where he could host his people.

With how the Aurora Cloud Gate allowed its disciples to have relationships, he imagined that there was an extreme population of strong geniuses to have gathered, both from outside and inside the Aurora Cloud Gate. In other words, born and bred here.

Moreover, considering the sectʼs decisions to have it prioritized over other powers when it came to disputing, he knew that it would allow a discipleʼs family to be brought in as well.

There were countless immortal auras enveloping the vast atmosphere of this place, and even Immortal King auras were as vast as the thousands, soaring with some extraordinary undulations occasionally.

This was its ultimate foundation!

Just as they traversed a residential region, Davis and Ellia were suddenly blocked by someone.

”Feng Chu?”

Blue hair fell from her head and adorned her shoulders as she appeared before them. Her veil blocked her expression as well as her beauty, but Davis could instantly recognize the voice that followed him around in suspicion that he was, in fact, Davis Alstreim.

”Ah, senior sister...” Davis strode forwards and cupped his hands, ”… congratulations on becoming an Immortal King Beast. I didnʼt expect to see you this soon.”

”I didnʼt either.”

The Blue Luan Immortal narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him.

”I just heard that you made it to the easternmost branch and became an outer disciple. I set off to meet you, get you started and gift you some immortal crystals as I wish you luck as it looks like my eyes had been wrong, but what are you doing here?”
