Chapter 2147: Visiting Murim Alliance

Tang Shaoyang smiled in response, ”It seems there’s a misconception from your side, Alliance Leader Zhong. She came to me and decided to join us. I never force or threaten her to join us. You said to yourself: She came on her own.”

”As for taking her back, it’s impossible because we have held the ceremony, and she is officially one of us right now.” He didn’t lose his smile. ”Aren’t you glad, Alliance Leader Zhong? You don’t need to worry about her anymore. She is in good hands.”

”Stop this nonsense right now! She is my Junior Disciple! She is the Spear God’s disciple! My Junior Sister has nothing to learn from an unknown and suspicious person like you!”

Han Lingxiao burst out in anger, pointing at Tang Shaoyang. This was clearly nonsense. His Junior Sister was kidnapped by these people for sure. There was no way her Junior Sister was stupid enough to join a brothel or a dubious sect behind this brothel. He even thought this brothel might be related to the demonic faction.

”That’s right! What you want is my Master’s technique! You are kidnapping her to get my Master’s technique!” He turned toward Alliance Leader, ”We must get my Junior Sister back today before they hurt her, Uncle Zhong.”

”That’s a big accusation with no proof. It’s not my problem whether you trust me or not, but that’s the truth. If—”

”Cut your nonsense! I am not going to trust whatever comes from your filthy mouth! I am taking back my Junior Sister now!”

A spear appeared in Han Lingxiao’s hand. His internal energy whirled around the spear as his figure blurred, coming for Tang Shaoyang. He was stopped before he could reach Tang Shaoyang; something heavy and powerful hit his back. Not knowing how, he was on the ground.

”You never learn, huh?”

Han Lingxiao heard the owner’s voice coming from above. He looked up, and the owner was no longer standing at the original spot. He could not even see when the owner moved.

A rush of shock hit his head; his mind went blank for a moment as he tried to understand what had happened. No matter how fast his enemy was, they could not hide from his perception. He spread a thin energy in the air that would help him to sense the movement, yet it didn’t pick up anything.

He was beaten early because he attacked without thinking, but this was different. He was prepared for any situation, and he was confident enough to hold on until Uncle Zhong helped him. Yet here he was, lying on the ground without knowing how he ended up in this situation.

Then a force hit his head, pushing him to the floor. His face was planted on the ground, and his shock was replaced with anger. A fury rushed over his head. He could not accept being humiliated in this manner. He was the Spear God’s successor.

Tang Shaoyang clicked his tongue, shaking his head, ”Don’t even think about it. I might accidentally kill you.”

Hang Lingxiao’s heart turned cold, his head blanking again when reality hit him. He could be killed at any time in this situation. Only then did he realize that he was close to the death door.

He wanted to believe that this brothel’s owner would not dare to kill him in front of the Alliance Leader. However, he quickly realized that the owner had been provoking Uncle Zhong all this time. That proved the owner was not afraid of Uncle Zhong, meaning he might truly kill him because the owner was not afraid of the Alliance Leader.

”Good boy,” Tang Shaoyang nodded in satisfaction, ”You should let me finish my words instead of rushing at me blindly.”

”Let Yan Xueyi have some time for today to settle down in her new place. I will bring her to meet you tomorrow, and you can listen and speak to her.”

Tang Shaoyang raised his index finger, stopping Alliance Leader from interrupting him, ”This is not a request,’ Alliance Leader Zhong Tian Yun, and I am doing this for Yan Xueyi, not you. I want to give her time to say farewell to her uncle and Senior Brother, since I don’t know when she will meet you again.”

”What if we refuse and insist on taking her back today! Are you going to oppose the Murim Alliance?” Old Zhou’s hand was on his sword, in a stance. He tried to show that he was not all talk.

Tang Shaoyang chuckled, ”That’s another method for you, force me to listen to your demand, Old Zhou.”

The old man’s face changed when his name was mentioned. It was not just his name, but a nickname that only an insider knew. The Alliance Leader never called him Old Zhou in public. Just like how they had been watching the brothel, the brothel also had been spying on them.

”Don’t be shocked like that, Old Zhou. What do you expect when you put people to watch us? You should expect the same, no?”

”That is another thing that I would like to inform you, Alliance Leader. Pull your people back because from today onwards, we will show no mercy to the suspicious people around us. Don’t blame me if you are losing your people because we will clean out the rats that have been watching us.”

Tang Shaoyang implied that it was not only the Murim Alliance that had eyes on the Lotus Moon Pavilion. More people were watching them, but the others were not putting in as much effort as the Murim Alliance.

”Isn’t it quite uncomfortable knowing people are spying on you daily? But again, the choice is yours, Alliance Leader. Just don’t come to me complaining when you lose your people.”

Alliance Leader Zhong Tian Yun took a deep breath and made a sensible decision in this situation, ”Then I will wait for your visit in my place tomorrow. You should be ready for the worst if I see even just a scratch on Yan Xueyi.”

Tang Shaoyang was surprised that the Alliance Leader could hold back after being provoked so many times. He shrugged and kicked Han Lingxiao out of the building. He didn’t put much force behind the kick; he doubted it would even hurt Han Lingxiao.

”Then see you tomorrow, Alliance Leader Zhong.”

The following day, Tang Shaoyang arrived in front of the Murim Alliance’s gate with Yan Xueyi. They arrived hand in hand with Avyn and Zara, who also wore the skin mask.

He had more company than he expected. The Lysvand Family, Jovrick, and Ruben followed him along with the former Ice Palace’s members. Bing Ruohan and Bing Lianxin insisted on following him because they also wanted to give a proper farewell to the Murim Alliance.

The original plan was to stay low while taking advantage of the war between the Murim Alliance and the Heaven Founder. The plan changed with the resources he found in the Sacred Realm. On top of that, he was tasked to kill Alderman Fiodor as well. At this point, he might as well establish himself in the Sacred Realm through Thousand Vows Pavilion.

Nikolas let out a chuckle when they arrived, noticing more guards were placed in the Murim Alliance. Ouyang Biya warned them before coming to the Murim Alliance, and she decided to stay out of the meeting.

Her words were: ”In case they try to do something funny, we will join from outside.” Those were the exact words.

Her concern was not baseless because she spotted the Venerable Abbot of the Shaolin as well as the Sect Leader of the Kunlun Sect.

On top of the two Great Sects, the great four families were also present: The Murong Family, the Jaegal Family, the Situ Family, and the Ximen Family.

It was a surprise that Ouyang Biya didn’t join when the Ximen Family was here. It seemed she had learned to collide her head during her training with the Lysvand Family. She had become more humble after getting beaten up repeatedly by the three generations of the Lysvand Family.

There were eight guards, wearing white uniforms with golden stripes, each with a sword at their waist. One of them stepped up, ”Are you Tang Shaoyang of the Lotus Moon Pavilion?”

”I am.”

”Is there a way for you to prove you are Tang Shaoyang?” The guard followed up with another question.

Tang Shaoyang expected that they would give him a hard time, but this was just too shallow and plain stupid.

”That’s enough! He is the guest Alliance Leader who has been waiting for.”

Old Zhou came out of the gate before things could get worse. He knew that Tang Shaoyang would not miss the chance to make things worse. That was his impression of Tang Shaoyang after yesterday, a troublemaker.
