Chapter 2128: Ice Palace (3)

Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong watched as the Ice Palace was breached and overwhelmed. They managed to catch them off guard and stormed into the Ice Palace quickly.

The Ice Palace was clearly not prepared for this, with how his subordinates easily slaughtered their way into the majestic palace.

Using what they had prepared for the Ice Palace, they managed to catch five Elders, three Grand Elders, and the Palace Mistress. That was right, they had prepared a trap for them. That was why it took them so long to make their move against the Ice Palace.

”I would say it’s worth the effort, no, Supreme Guardian Duan? Look at these beauties~.”

Guardian Quan eyed the trapped beauties. Two of the Grand Elders were two hundred years old, but they maintained their looks well. They were no different than a lady in their early thirties.

It was known that the Eternal Ice Heart Sutra helped the Ice Palace’s disciples to look even more beautiful.

Of course, their looks were not the reason the Heaven Founder decided to take down the Ice Palace first. The main reason the Heaven Founder picked up the Ice Palace was to use it as a cauldron for their Dual Cultivation.

The Ice Palace’s disciples maintained their purity, which made them the best cauldron for dual cultivation. The dual cultivation would greatly help the Supreme Being, the Supreme Guardian, and the Guardian. A significant boost that would help them to fight the Murim Alliance, increasing their chance of winning.

”The job is not over. We need to capture her alive for the Supreme Being!” Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong rebuked.

They caught the Palace Mistress, three Grand Elders, and Elders in a formation that drained their internal energy and strength. Something they paid an enormous price to make. They could not afford to make a mistake here, so he hated it that a Guardian acted smug when the job was not over.

Grand Elder Bing Lianxin, the strongest one in the Ice Palace, was still standing in front of them. The only one who managed to avoid their trap.

Of course, she was not in a better condition after enduring an hour of continuous assault from the Supreme Guardian and Guardians.

Her robe was in tatters, her left shoulder suffered a deep cut, and she had to freeze her own flesh to stop the bleeding. She could feel the poison inside her body was spreading, and she was getting weaker over time. It was just a matter of time until she fell into her enemy’s hands.

Bing Lianxin glanced at the trapped people. None of them expected the Heaven Founder to have such a devious formation. From the Heaven Founder’s people conversation, she could tell what the fate awaited her if she were caught as well.

The first thing that came into her mind was to flee, recover, and regroup the Alliance Leader to fight the Heaven Founder to free her people. However, she quickly realized that if no reinforcements came to help them. This would be the end of the Ice Palace.

They made it obvious that the Heaven Founder came to use her and the others as a cauldron for Dual Cultivation. That meant that would be the end of the Ice Palace.

Even if somehow she managed to escape and save them later on. They would lose their purity and could no longer use the Ice Palace’s secret technique, Eternal Ice Heart Sutra.

”Don’t make things harder for yourself, Lady Lianxin. Just surrender and accept your fate, serving the Supreme Being that will lead the new Sacred Realm. That’s not too bad, huh?”

Guardian Quan slowly made his way toward Bing Lianxin, as did the other eight Guardians, along with the other True God Realms. The girls’ screams echoed in the air, a sign they were being captured or maybe humiliated.

Guardian Quan had to be honest that his own subordinates were not the brightest kind. Especially when they were surrounded by helpless beauties.

Bing Lianxin would rather die than become the Heaven Founder’s whore. But she could not really leave her people either. She could not save them, and she didn’t have the heart to leave them either.

At this point, she thought killing herself was much better. That was the most cowardly decision, but she would be free from the suffering.

”You have finished your preparation?”

Right at this moment, there was a voice, a chatter echoed in the air. It was so clear, meaning the voice was close.

”Isn’t it time for your entry already? Just go in before it’s too late.”

”You haven’t answered me whether you have finished with the preparation or not.”

Bing Lianxin looked up, and so did the Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong and his people. They saw a group of eleven people floating in the air, right above them.

”Boss people are looking at us right now. It’s time to make your entry,” Nikolas said in a whisper.

Tang Shaoyang had been watching the whole fight from a different space. Thanks to Zara, they could watch the battle without getting noticed.

The Heaven Founder overwhelmed the Ice Palace as they predicted. The only thing they missed was how the Ice Palace fell. They fell into a trap designed by the Heaven Founder and lost before an actual fight could happen.

They had been watching under Zara’s protection, using her Space Power to make them invisible. When the people looked up at them, that meant Zara had finished with her preparation.

”You could have said something, so I could make a grand entrance. That way, I will look more convincing,” Tang Shaoyang rolled his eyes at Zara.

”So what? So you could seduce these beauties?” Zara finally revealed her honest thoughts.

Tang Shaoyang could not help but let out a chuckle, shaking his head, ”You know that’s not the reason we come here, no?”

He shrugged as he slowly came down and landed in front of Bing Lianxin, ”I come with an offer for you, Bing... Lady Bing.”

He forgot the name of the lady in front of her. It was not his fault because the Elder, Palace Mistress, and the Grand Elder had the same surname, even though they were not related by blood. That was a tradition to change their name once they were appointed as an Elder.

Ouyang Biya and the others landed around Tang Shaoyang, ”We are here with an offer for you, Grand Elder Bing Lianxin...”

Before Ouyang Biya could finish her words, Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong’s angry roar resounded, ”OUYANG BIYA!!! HOW DARE YOU SHOW YOUR FACE IN FRONT OF US!”

The first thing that came to Duan Zhong’s mind was that Ouyang Biya betrayed the Heaven Founder. That was the only explanation why she was still alive. She somehow had a way to trick the Soul Candle and betrayed the Heaven Founder.

His anger was natural considering how many resources the Heaven Founder put in Ouyang Biya only for her to betray them at the most important moment.

Ouyang Biya furrowed her brow as she turned toward Supreme Guardian Duan Zhong. She was about to explain the concept of a spirit, but she quickly realized how pointless it was.

She was not ungrateful for what the Heaven Founder did for her. That was what made her want to explain what happened.

Again, it was pointless because they were not going to believe her since they knew nothing about the concept of a spirit. The outsider might be familiar with Tang Shaoyang’s ability, but not with the people in the Sacred Realm.

They would believe more of her being a traitor than her being a spirit. Whatever she would say, they would not listen. It was indeed pointless.

”You heard her, Grand Elder Bing Lianxin. I have an offer for you to save the Ice Palace and your people,” Tang Shaoyang ignored the furious old man and continued the conversation.

”Who are you!?”

Bing Lianxin was not naive to lowering her guard when a stranger approached her amidst the battle. She raised her light blue-colored sword that continuously released cold air, pointing the sword at Tang Shaoyang.

”Unfortunately, I can’t disclose my name in front of them,” He pointed at the Supreme Guardian, ”But I am here representing the Thousand Vows Pavilion. I don’t know if that name rings a bell to you, but yeah, I am representing the Thousand Vows Pavilion to make an offer.”
