Chapter 2104: Immortal Emperor? More Like Frail Emperor

Tang Shaoyang didn’t really follow the conversation between Ouyang Biya and the middle-aged man. He noticed the people in the red and black uniforms swarming toward his location.

They were surrounded in no time. These were the people he expected to see from the Sacred World, wearing the robed uniform, with the traditional weapon instead of magic. Most of them were holding spears, and a few had a unique weapon of their own.

”I didn’t expect that I would see the esteemed Yang Clan Leader on his knees. Unfortunately, your luck has run out. That slut who was supposed to protect your clan is dead. This rich energy place belongs to the Bloodshadow Pavilion.”

A bare-chested individual with a thick beard and a thick grin stepped out.

Tang Shaoyang didn’t really proceed with the words because he immediately used Detection when this man took the first step. He was surprised by the information provided by the skill. It was totally different from the usual information.

Name: ???

Cultivation: 2nd-stage Immortal Emperor

Faction: Bloodshadow Pavilion

Status: Elder of Bloodshadow Pavilion

Profession: ???

——————————

That was interesting information he got. His attention was on this interesting information, thinking what the 2nd-stage Immortal Emperor was equal to the rank he knew. His mind was on that thing that he didn’t catch up with the conversation.

As he tried to recall the information about the Cultivation Rank. This person seemed to sense his detection and took it as an offense.

The bearded man moved up, quickly appearing in front of Tang Shaoyang with his cleaver shrouded in a dark-red aura. He appeared slightly above Tang Shaoyang, slashing down his cleaver toward Tang Shaoyang’s head.

Such might catch Zhao Zhong and the others off guard, but not Tang Shaoyang. Since he didn’t know how strong the 2nd-stage Immortal Emperor was. He took the man seriously, strengthening his stance and opening the Ninth Heavenly Gate: Heavenly Azure Dragon.

The image of an azure dragon formed on his back, which was followed by opening the Fourth Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Force: Heaven Shattering Palm.

The golden Heavenly Energy gathered in his right hand, forming a bigger palm made of the same golden energy. The palm met with the cleaver, and the result was marvelous. The cleaver burst into pieces along with the man’s torso.

Tang Shaoyang heard the notification that he had killed a man named Sun Fu. He took a light step to the side to avoid the man’s lower part from landing on him. That part landed on the ground, and the surroundings went dead quiet all of a sudden.

”He’s certainly not equal to God Rank...” Tang Shaoyang muttered in a low voice.

He didn’t try to undermine his own technique. This Sun Fu would not get his body destroyed like that if the 2nd-stage Immortal Emperor was equal to God Rank. That was his conclusion, Immortal Emperor was not equal to God Rank for sure.

The conclusion made sense if he had to recall Sun Fu’s speed. This man was quick, but not quick enough to give him trouble; in fact, he saw it coming. That was why he could activate two gates to counter it.

The people from the Bloodshadow Pavilion were shocked to witness one of their Elders die so easily. They stared at Elder’s remaining body part in shock. The shock morphed into fear for some of them.

”HE KILLED ELDER SUN! KILL HIM!”

As the voice echoed, the Bloodshadow Pavilion’s people swarmed toward Tang Shaoyang. They tried to overwhelm him with their techniques. The dark-red energy covered the atmosphere, but before they could reach Tang Shaoyang, spears flew out.

Gianni sent his flying spears, killing those people who tried to jump at his master. The spear skewered six people at once. Ouyang Biya didn’t stay still as her sword shredded the Bloodshadow Pavilion’s people easily. They were clearly getting outranked, overpowered.

Tang Shaoyang took out his Azure Dragon Blade. He lowered his stance, holding his sword with his left hand and his right hand on the hilt. His Ninth Heavenly Gate was still active, and the image of the azure dragon was still behind him, coiling above him.

Then he opened the Fifth Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Sword: Heavenly Revoke.

The moment he pulled his sword, his figure blurred. In the next moment, he was floating in the air, above dozens of the Bloodshadow Pavilion’s members. Then he sheathed the sword, and those dozens of bodies were cut into two.

Blood sprayed from those cut bodies, creating a rain of blood in this courtyard as the bodies fell at the same time.

Tang Shaoyang turned around as he put the sheath back into his inventory and took a battle axe out. He was ready to fight more, but then he found out that there were fewer than thirty people alive from the Bloodshadow Pavilion.

He was pretty sure more than two hundred people were surrounding them, yet their number was reduced to such an extent so quickly. Gianni took quite a lot, but Ouyang Biya killed more of them. She seemed to be blinded by rage as her sword bathed in the blood of the Bloodshadow Pavilion’s members.

The remaining Bloodshadow Pavilion’s people were not stupid enough to not realize they were being outclassed. The remaining people of the Bloodshadow Pavilion turned around and showed their backs to their enemies and attempted to escape.

Giving such an opening to Gianni was a big mistake. The black spear was shrouded in his aura and skewered those people who tried to escape.

The former Hurakan Commander was not a newbie at killing them all. He left three people alive who wore slightly different uniforms. These three might have some status, and he left them alive to get information from them.

Those three people were pinned to the ground. The spear pierced the shoulder and thigh, putting them down on the ground.

”That’s for you, Ouyang girl. They are yours if you need more information, or you can kill them,” Gianni pointed at three with his thumb.

One spear pinned them down, and a second spear hovered above their head. If they tried to escape, the second spear would kill them. That was why they didn’t try to pull off the spear in their body.

As the fight was over, Kate was the first to rush over. She took out a healing potion and handed it to the injured middle-aged man. He was about to refuse, but Ouyang Biya spoke first.

”Take it!”

Her voice held such an authority that the middle-aged man took it, immediately chugging a whole vial of the potion without questioning it.

At the side, Yu was checking on the people from the Yang Clan who were still alive and treatable. Kate scurried over to her boss and helped him attend to the wounded.

”I am going to take care of the rest!” Gianni gestured to Ruben and his grandson, Nikolas, to follow him.

The courtyard was located on a hill, and they could see the settlements at the foot of the hill. The Bloodshadow Pavilion’s people were still ravaging the town below. He brought Ruben and Nikolas to subdue.

”Thank you.”

Ouyang Biya was genuinely grateful because Gianni took the initiative to help her. The old man moved on his own without an order from their master. That was the reason why she was grateful to Gianni.

”You are one of us now, so it’s natural for me to help. You don’t need to thank me because I expected the same from you as well.” With that said, Gianni left the courtyard with Ruben and Nikolas.

The Bloodshadow Pavilion was weak, yet they succeeded in capturing the Yang Clan’s territory. It meant the Yang Clan was weaker than this Bloodshadow Pavilion.

Tang Shaoyang used Detection on the middle-aged man who was close to Ouyang Biya. It gained a reaction from the middle-aged man, displeased by his action. Not that he cared about this man’s reaction to his Detection.

There was no level or rank. It was replaced by Cultivation instead, which piqued Tang Shaoyang’s interest.

”The area is safe. You guys can help them tidy up this place now!”

That order was for Zhao Zhong, Tian Donghai, Yang Sheng, Gu Yingjie, and others. Even his wives helped them, gathering the dead bodies.

They gathered the Yang Clan’s dead bodies to be buried later by them and piled up the dead bodies from the Bloodshadow Pavilion, which Tang Shaoyang burned them into nothing, not even their ashes left behind. These bodies were not worth sacrifice, let alone for his spirit’s advancement.

Ouyang Biya interrogated the three people from the Bloodshadow Pavilion. They cleaned the mess afterward and gathered in the room prepared by the Head of the Yang Clan. They were discussing something, but Tang Shaoyang was in his own world.

He was reading the note left by Grandmaster Xu, trying to match the Cultivation Rank with the System’s rank outside the Sacred Realm. Unfortunately, the note didn’t contain such information.

He was guessing, trying to compare the Immortal Emperor and the Demi-God Rank. Both might have been equal in rank, but it was hard to determine since both would be killed, let alone the ranks below them, with one strike if he combined Heaven Shattering Palm and Heavenly Azure Dragon. It was really hard to estimate their rank.

Tang Shaoyang snapped from his thoughts when someone nudged him. He glanced to the side. His wife, Liang Suyin, nudged him, motioning with her head to the direction of Ouyang Biya.

He turned to his spirit, ”What is it?”

His response left everyone in the room speechless, and again, the middle-aged man seemed to be annoyed by his reaction.

This man with one black-eye first used something to probe his cultivation, then this man ignored Lady Ouyang Biya.
