Chapter 2114: Look Easy to Pick a Fight Against

Dongfang Jinhai didn’t understand what Ouyang Biya told him. She was clearly alive, standing in front of me, and if she wanted to, she could rebuild the Ouyang Family again.

He thought calling herself a spirit was just a metaphor. Picturing herself as a spirit with vengeance as her sole purpose.

He shook his head, ’It doesn’t matter. There’s no way I will allow you to rebuild the Ouyang Family again. Your mistake is to show up in front of me, young girl.’

Tang Shaoyang shook his head, smiling helplessly. This was different from what he imagined. It was supposed to be a battle between the Murim Alliance and the Heaven Founder.

The plan was for his people to get familiar and learn more about cultivators. At the same time, he would benefit from the war between the two factions. He wanted the dead bodies for more sacrifice.

On top of that, he wanted to aid Ouyang Biya with the purpose of gaining her loyalty. He planned to put Ouyang Biya in the Thousand Vows Pavilion. Having someone familiar with how the faction works for cultivators would help the Thousand Vows Pavilion’s revival.

Since the first time they stepped into the Sacred Realm, nothing went according to plan. They had to fight the Bloodshadow Pavilion to help the Yang Clan. That ended up getting involved with one of the guardians from the Heaven Founder.

Now this, not just that they didn’t let the Dongfang Family and the Heaven Founder fight. They interfered and ended up fighting on both sides instead. It was longer the Murim Alliance against the Heaven Founder, but it was them against the Murim Alliance and the Heaven Founder.

”You guys can go wild as well. I will stay here,” He then glanced at his wives and subordinates.

”For those who are interested in fighting the cultivator as well, pick your own opponent. Only pick the 4th-Stage God and lower.”

It was too late to stop Ouyang Biya and Nikolas. Might as well join the party.

Gianni didn’t hesitate to pick on the Heaven Founder’s people. Avyn and Zara followed his wives, acting as Aleesa, Ashley, and Liang Suyin’s bodyguards.

Meanwhile, Ruben and Nikolas were being responsible, following Bai Yuan and the others, acting as an overseer for them, and would step in when things became too dangerous for them.

As for Tang Shaoyang? He remained in his seat with a bucket of spicy squid in his right hand. The Dragon and Phoenix Tournament bored him, but Ouyang Biya against Dongfang Jinhai might be interesting.

He put the first squid in his mouth, then a scream echoed through the whole venue.

Dongfang Jinhai recognized the scream. It was his second son’s scream. He looked up and saw a black bird carrying his second son, who was flailing while screaming in a shrill, causing further embarrassment to his name.

His idiotic second son didn’t even try to break free from the bird. That was when he saw the black bird land next to the mysterious person, the one with an eye-patch that looked like the leader of this mysterious group.

His son got even more hysterical when he was put next to that man. His scream turned shrill, and then the man stepped on his second son’s legs, breaking them apart, causing his second son to pass out.

However, that man was so cruel that he woke up his son by breaking his son’s hand. His son opened his eyes wide and screamed again. His scream filled the venue again. That was when the people realized that his person was as cruel as the people from the Heaven Founder who slaughtered the people in the venue.

That man held his son by the hair, and that was when his eyes met with his second son’s.

”IT’S HIM! IT’S HIM, FATHER! HELP ME! SAVE ME, FATHER! HE WILL KILL ME THIS TIME! SAVE ME, FATHER!”

His second son kept screaming, getting even more hysterical.

Dongfang Jinhai managed to understand why his son was so terrified. After getting attacked, his second son kept saying that the person would come for him, the attacker who smashed his vital part.

He quickly concluded that this mysterious person was the hidden expert who attacked his son. That made him realize what had happened here. This mysterious group was coming for the Dongfang Family because of their second son.

Dongfang Jinhai was angry at his second son, but he would not allow an unknown person to kill his son on his domain. That would ruin the Dongfang Family’s reputation.

If he could not protect his own son in his home, who was going to trust them? He would rather be known as someone who killed his own son than have his own killed by this mysterious man.

”Don’t worry, Dongfang Clan Head. I won’t kill your son, not yet. No, in fact, he will be the last one to be alive. So you can fight with no worry.”

Tang Shaoyang was holding Young Master Dongfang by the hair.

”He will witness the downfall of his family. I would like to see his expression when that happens.”

That confirmed Dongfang Jinhai’s suspicion. That man was the one who attacked his son. That small squabble became this big. It seemed like his son truly had a talent to piss off people, a useless talent.

He would like to save his son, but he must kill this girl who thought she could avenge her family.

He glanced at the guards behind him who protected the eight participants, ”Get them to safety!”

Tang Shaoyang finally got to see the real deal in a fight, not just a tournament between kids.

It was not just a clash of two swords, but each swing contained a technique. Ouyang Biya was on top at first, overwhelming Dongfang Jinhai with her energy. Her swords and moves contained more energy than Dongfang Jinhai, which pushed him back.

Even though it looked like Dongfang Jinhai was losing, Ouyang Biya could not land a single attack.

The battle between the True God Realm was on another level that the venue didn’t survive the impact.

Dongfang Jinhai was forced to bring the fight to the open area, in the air. The blood-red Cherry Blossom falling as Ouyang Biya sent a barrage of her sword moves at Dongfang Jinhai.

”Her rage blinds her...” Tang Shaoyang muttered.

He used sacrifice to get Ouyang Biya to a high-rank Archaic Spirit. He believed a high-ranked Archaic Spirit should be stronger than a 5th-Stage True God Realm.

Vandir’s summon easily dominated Ouyang Biya, who was a 3rd-Stage True God Realm back then, and his high-ranked Archaic Spirit was stronger than Vandir’s undead.

Aside from the overwhelming internal energy, Ouyang Biya didn’t look like someone stronger than Dongfang Jinhai.

It was not that Ouyang Biya’s attack was not powerful. Her attack was powerful; her sword cut through the building as if it were tofu. However, Dongfang Jinhai seemed to be able to read all her attacks.

”Is it because of the difference in experience?”

It might be because Dongfang Jinhai had more experience and had faced all kinds of situations. Ouyang Biya might be lacking in experience compared to Dongfang Jinhai.

”Don’t run from me, Dongfang Jinhai! Come and fight me, you coward!” Ouyang Biya’s voice echoed in the air.

They had fought for a few minutes, and all he did was dodge and block Ouyang Biya’s sword. He didn’t even try to counter her move.

Tang Shaoyang could see that Dongfang Jinhai had been running and avoided the attack. It was not a situation where there was no opening. In fact, Dongfang Jinhai had a lot of openings because Ouyang Biya started attacking him recklessly.

However, Dongfang Jinhai didn’t even try to fight back. He was clearly planning something.

Dongfang Jinhai smiled, ”You are too young, too naive if you think you can provoke me with such a cheap provocation.”

It became a chasing game where Ouyang Biya chased after Dongfang Jinhai. Ouyang Biya seemed truly not to care about his people because he brought Ouyang Biya away from the venue.

He was trying to protect his guests, but that put his own people into danger. Ouyang Biya’s sword didn’t have an eye, and she seemed not in the mood to control it as well.

The fight had gone somewhere else, but he could see them from where he was with his Chaos Eyes. He kinda figured out what Dongfang Jinhai tried to do. He wanted to deplete Ouyang Biya’s internal energy.

”Your father is quite smart, but why does he have a stupid son like you?”

Young Master Dongfang didn’t answer him, just shaking his head while grunting in pain. He had learned his lesson. The more he revolted, the more this mysterious man would hurt him. That was much worse than getting killed.

His spirits and his subordinates were fighting the Heaven Founder. He was alone with Young Master Dongfang. The representatives of the 2 palaces, 4 empires, 7 sects, and 7 families of the Murim Alliance slowly made their way toward Tang Shaoyang.

That was right, instead of fighting back the Heaven Founder with his subordinates. They decided to surround him. Those people included their young master and young lady who participated in the tournament.

”You have been surrounded! Release Young Master Dongfang and surrender immediately!”

A man in a fancy light-blue robe stepped up and pointed his sword at Tang Shaoyang.

Tang Shaoyang let out a chuckle, giving his guests a quick scan. More than a hundred people were surrounding him, including the guards from the Dongfang Clan.

They decided to go for him instead of cleaning the Heaven Founder and got rid of the net that caged the city.

Tang Shaoyang could guess what was on their mind to make such a decision. It was because he looked easy to pick on. He was alone, and the people from the Heaven Founder moved in a big group.

They thought it was safer to fight him than the people from the Heaven Founder.

”I guess I look easy to pick a fight against than the Heaven Founder’s people, right Young Master Dongfang?”
