Chapter 2141: Meeting Alliance Leader

Zhong Tian Yun had a deep frown as he watched his two friends sitting cross-legged, channeling their internal energy through their bodies. The outside dealt a major blow to them.

If not for the Spear God’s sacrifice, they would be under a coffin instead of recuperating on the bed. They were meditating, trying to digest the Phoenix Blood Restoration Pill.

Phoenix Blood Restoration Pill was one of the rarest healing pills, a Heaven Grade pill made by the Godly Physician Meng Youlian.

It was rare because of the material used to make it. As the name implied, it required Phoenix Blood, and only less than three people could make it. One of them was being a God Physician.

Zhong Tian Yun only had three Phoenix Blood Restoration Pills, and he didn’t hesitate to give them to his friends. Especially after the fight against the outsider.

That fight told him that the Heaven Founder was not to be underestimated, and he must get rid of them before the Heaven Founder could establish itself as an opposition faction toward the Murim Alliance.

The Fist God and the Fire God breathed out in relief as they finished circulating their energy at the same time. They opened their eyes at the same time and wiped the sweat on their forehead.

The first one to get up from the bed was the Fist God, ”It lives up to its name as a miraculous pill. I should be able to recover in a week instead of months now.”

”My injury is worse than his, but I might be able to recover in two or three weeks,” The Fire God reported his status. His internal injury was indeed worse than the Fist God. If not for the pill, he might be bedridden for years.

Zhong Tian Yun was relieved to hear that because he needed them to face the Heaven Founder. These two were the only ones he could rely on and trust. The Major Factions would only make their move if it benefits them. They could not be trusted, and he didn’t know that one of them might betray the Murim Alliance just like the Dongfang Family.

”I am glad to hear that. I need you two to help me handle the Heaven Founder before they get bigger and bring more outsiders into our home.”

”Of course, I am not going to stay still after that bastard killed Old Lei!” The Fire God was furious the moment Zhong Tian Yun mentioned the Heaven Founder.

Old Lei was the Spear God. His name was Gao Lei, and they called him Old Lei.

”I understand you need us, but don’t you have more people under you? It hurt my pride to say it, but you know it very well that three of us are not enough to kill that bastard. You need to use the Great Empire, the Great Family, and the Great Sect!”

The Fist God was calmer and more realistic about the problem. Four of them were not enough to kill Heaven Founder’s leader and the outsider. Now one of them died, three of them were far from enough to face the Heaven Founder.

”Of course, I am going to use them, but you should know it better than me, Old Guo. They are strong, but they are also unreliable. We have known the Heaven Founder since the Dongfang Family’s incident. It’s about a month since we have known them, yet none of them are trying to find this Heaven Founder.”

Zhong Tian Yun was frustrated. Even if he called an assembly, all they did was criticize him instead of finding a solution or cooperating to get rid of the Heaven Founder. They instead focused on that unknown group instead of the Heaven Founder, who was clearly coming to destroy them.

”I am not even surprised if they want the Heaven Founder to kill me just to get my position. I am not even surprised that a few of them might have switched sides to the Heaven Founder already. We can’t really trust them.”

The Fire God chuckled, shaking his head in pity, ”Who told you to listen to those monks and Taoists to take that position?”

It was Wudang, Shaolin, Qingcheng Sect, Emei Sect, and Kunlun Sect who pushed him to take the mantle of Alliance Leader. The five Great Sects’ voices could not be ignored, and the other major factions were busy fighting among themselves to take the seat.

The neutral faction supported the five Great Sects instead of letting the other Major Factions take the seat. That was how Zhong Tian Yun became the Alliance Leader.

Now the major factions that had been eyeing his seat started to show their true color and attempted to take his seat so many times. Of course, with the Great Sects supporting him, there was nothing the Great Family and the Great Empire could do.

The Fist God was about to say something until a knock interrupted him.

”It’s me, My Lord.”

The trio recognized the voice. It was Zhong Tian Yun’s loyal follower, Old Zhou. The Fire God and the Fist God knew the man well. Even though Old Zhou was not an official disciple of the Sword God, he received a lot of direct guidance from the Sword God, Zhong Tian Yun.

The trio exchanged glances. Old Zhou should know that they were not to be disturbed, but since Old Zhou came over, it meant it was something urgent.

”Come in!”

Old Zhou opened the door. He bowed his head apologetically toward Fist God and Fire God, ”I apologize for interrupting you, Sirs. Something needs your attention immediately. It’s about Lord Lei’s disciple, Young Master Han Lingxiao.”

Old Zhou then explained what happened to them as quickly as possible. He knew the Fist God and the Fire God needed them to recuperate from their injuries.

The trio furrowed their brows, not liking what they heard. Not just what happened to Han Lingxiao, but also the cause of the conflict. Even though he didn’t like what Han Lingxiao did, for the sake of their dead friend, they needed to take care of their friend’s disciple.

”Can’t you handle it, Old Zhou? I don’t think there’s anyone in this city who doesn’t know your face. And with your cultivation level, I don’t think anyone in the city could beat you as well.”

The Fist God thought Old Zhou should be able to resolve the problem without involving Zhong Tian Yun.

Old Zhou smiled wryly. He also hoped he could resolve the problem without involving the Alliance Leader. This was just a trivial matter after all, but he saw something that others could not see.

”That’s the problem, My Lord. The new owner of the Lotus Moon Pavilion is stronger than I am. You will understand once you meet the person.”

Zhong Tian Yun furrowed his brow. This was the first time he heard about someone this powerful residing in the Immortal City.

He turned toward his friends, ”I will check it myself.”

The Fire God and the Fist God nodded. They wanted to see this unknown person who was stronger than Old Zhou as well, but they knew their priority. They needed to recover as quick as possible before the Heaven Founder.

The man who questioned Tang Shaoyang blinked his eyes, trying to process what he just heard. He made sure not to hear it wrong. This person in front of him knew Hang Lingxiao’s identity, yet he dared to attack Lingxiao.

There were only two explanations for this. Either this man was a hidden expert who was equal to the Spear God, or this man was a fool to attack the Spear God’s successor.

Tang Shaoyang could read what was in this man’s head right now. He found it funny because these people got the priority wrong. They didn’t take into consideration that he was more powerful than Han Lingxiao, who was at the late-stage God Realm.

The five people who followed Han Lingxiao were weaker. The one who spoke with Tang Shaoyang was at the 6th-Stage God Realm. Yet he boldly stood up against Tang Shaoyang, who managed to kick a late-stage God Realm at ease.

”So what if he is the Spear God’s disciple? Do I have to listen to him just because he is the disciple of the Spear God? A disciple of the person who destroyed this city!”

The man widened in shock at this brothel’s owner for daring to say that out. The Spear God was the savior of the city. If not for the Spear God, the Heaven Founder would have destroyed the city already.

”Watch your mouth!” Han Lingxiao was back on his feet, pointing his spear toward Tang Shaoyang. This time, he held the spear properly, pointing the spearhead at Tang Shaoyang.

”My master protected this city from the Heaven Founder. How do you think your pavilion is still standing if not for my master’s sacrifice!? How dare you slander my Master!”

Han Lingxiao gathered his energy, creating a massive pressure around him. The paved stone on his feet broke apart under the pressure. The energy flowed around the spear in a smooth flow, swirling around the spear.

”DIE!”

His figure blurred. In the eyes of normal people, his figure blurred, but not in Tang Shaoyang’s eyes. He could see Han Lingxiao’s movement pretty well. As for the attack, he doubted it could hurt him even if he just stood still. Somehow, he wanted to try that, to let the spear hit him.

Of course, his people would not let it happen. Gianni appeared between Han Lingxiao and Tang Shaoyang. He didn’t even use his spear, standing there and grabbed Han Lingxiao’s spear with his bare hand.

Gianni completely stopped the attack, then he raised the spear into the air, which lifted Han Lingxiao into the air as well. That was when Gianni slammed Han Lingxiao to the ground as if he were a little kid with no power to resist.

Gianni took the spear and aimed it at Han Lingxiao. That was when a voice boomed in the air, a void with a strong pressure.

”Stop!”

A figure appeared between Han Lingxiao and Gianni, and that figure was Zhong Tian Yun.
