Chapter 2121: Four Heavenly Beasts

Tang Shaoyang could sense that this one was different from the earlier one, the one the old man used against his Heaven Severing World. It looked similar, but his Absolute Sense picked the danger from this one.

He opened the Eighth Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Black Tortoise. An imposing image of a black tortoise appeared above Tang Shaoyang. Not long after, a tortoise shell formed in front of him, forming a barrier.

The massive sword hit the shell and imploded. It swept the shell, but it failed to break the shell, not even a crack. The old man appeared in front of the shell with his fist this time.

A massive fist formed above him and slammed down toward the shell. It seemed like it hurt the old man’s ego that his sword failed to break the barrier. He sent a barrage of fists on the barrier, creating a booming sound, yet he still failed to crack the shell.

Tang Shaoyang clicked his tongue at the old man’s attempt to break Heavenly Tortoise Shell, stubborn and foolish.

He used Blink and appeared in front of the old man. Borrowing the power of Heavenly Vermilion and Heavenly Black Tortoise, he sent Heavenly Crushing Strike toward the old man’s chest.

Such a sudden movement no longer caught Supreme Guardian Kong off guard. The old man seemed to expect something like this. He sent his fist against Tang Shaoyang’s. The fist clashed, creating a loud boom noise and a strong shock wave that flattened the area around them.

At the same time, the old man was sent flying, overwhelmed by the force behind Tang Shaoyang’s fist. Supreme Guardian Kong crashed to the ground and coughed up blood.

The look of disbelief on his face while looking at the sky showed it all. He thought he had an edge against Tang Shaoyang until now.

”Since you want to know how strong I am, then I will show more.”

He opened the sixth Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Tiger. The roar echoed throughout the whole city, causing the ground to shake. The image of three Heavenly Beasts appeared above Tang Shaoyang.

Tang Shaoyang combined the three Heavenly Beasts into a massive palm, Heavenly Shattering Palm. He sent the palm down at the old man. Not just one, but three palms.

Supreme Guardian Kong quickly tried to get back on his feet, but the moment he stood, the palm was right before his face.

His hands moved quickly in a swirling motion, forming a barrier around him. Right after that, he took out three defensive talismans and broke them apart. That was the best he could come up with in such a short moment. He braced himself for the impact. His vision went black for a moment as the three palms hit him consecutively.

The ground shook, causing a massive quake. At the same time, a pit in the shape of a palm formed. Screams could be heard from all directions, the screams of the Golden Crane City’s people that were caught in the battle.

Inside the pit, Supreme Guardian Kong no longer had the same vigor. He slowly got back on his feet, coughing up blood. He could sense several internal injuries. His diamond body cracked; his strongest defense was breached.

In that moment, he heard a roar, a different roar than the white tiger earlier. What made things worse was that he could tell it was a different roar than the tiger’s. It meant his enemy just summoned a different beast. That would amplify the force behind his enemy’s attack.

At this moment, Kong Hu realized he must run if he wanted to keep his life. He underestimated his enemy too much and paid the price. He must recover and continue the fight another day.

That was what he wanted to do, but Tang Shaoyang wouldn’t let that happen. He appeared in front of the old man. His hand was covered in the dark-gold Heavenly Energy.

The old man’s eyes widened in fear, trying to turn around and run. But it was impossible for him to run with his condition unless someone helped him out.

Tang Shaoyang grabbed Supreme Guardian Kong’s shoulders, both sides. He then used Heavenly Crushing Grasp. That broke Kong Hu’s Demonic Tyrant Body. The diamond-like body broke into pieces.

Tang Shaoyang then tore Supreme Guardian Kong’s arms off the body.

The old man let out a pained shrill. Alas, his enemy was merciless at that moment; a dark-red sword pierced through his mouth. That was when the Demonic Tyrant Body crumbled, and two more swords pierced the old man’s head.

Tang Shaoyang heard the notification that he had killed an individual named Kong Hu.

Disappointed? He was indeed a little bit disappointed that the old man failed to force him to use Bloodline Transformation. He had not gone all out; the Supreme Guardian failed to force his hand.

However, the old man did entertain him a little bit. The close combat fight was quite fun. It was a pity that he could not figure out what the invisible attack was. On top of that, thanks to the old man, he found out he could combine his four Heavenly Beasts to strengthen his technique.

He had been using the Heavenly Beast on their own, never really trying to combine them. This fight helped him with his creativity in his technique, and this opened a whole new world.

”As a gratitude, I will use your body well, old man.”

Tang Shaoyang left the pit and returned to the venue. His people had cleaned up the people from the Heaven Founder, sorted out the 6th God Realm and above to the side. There were not many of them, which was disappointing.

Dongfang Jinhai was on his knees, losing both of his arms. Ouyang Biya stood before the old man. The moment she noticed him, she snapped Dongfang Jinhai’s head. He heard the notification and shrugged.

Tang Shaoyang didn’t mind if Ouyang Biya played a little bit more with Dongfang Jinhai for her vengeance. He thought that would be the end of her revenge, but that was just the start.

Ouyang Biya started to slaughter the members of the Dongfang Family. She chased after them like a madman, and no one stopped her, including the people from the Murim Alliance, which he found funny.

”I was going to help you when you were struggling against the old man,” That was Avyn’s first words upon his return. She did see him getting blasted by the old man.

Tang Shaoyang shrugged, ”He did use something weird that was hard to figure out. That might be related to the cultivation technique or something. I want to ask Ouyang Biya, but it seems she lost her vengeance.”

He glanced toward Ouyang Biya, heading off, furrowing his brow. She did look like someone who had lost her mind. She didn’t care whether the people she killed were members of the Dongfang Family or their servants.

Tang Shaoyang could not watch it anymore and recalled Ouyang Biya back to the Spirit World.

[WHY!? WHY DID YOU STOP ME!? LET ME KILL THEM ALL JUST LIKE HOW THEY KILLED MY FAMILY!]

Her voice boomed in Tang Shaoyang’s head.
