Chapter 2115: Combination of Skill and Technique

Tang Shaoyang stood up, still holding Young Master Dongfang by the hair. He found it laughable that they still picked up on him even though his group was fighting the Heaven Founder.

What was even funnier was the fact that they ignored the Heaven Founder who killed their own people. The cultivators from the big factions were left alone, but the ones from smaller factions were killed along with the other ordinary people.

That reminded him of what Gianni said about the cultivator. They were indeed stubborn fools. Maybe the Sacred Realm would fare better in the Heaven Founder’s hand.

This group came to save Young Master Dongfang, yet he kept shaking his head fiercely. Not because he didn’t want to be saved, but because he knew this man would torture him further. Worse, he might die before they could save him.

”Look, guys, he doesn’t want to be saved. Instead of focusing on that net that confines the city, you pick on me instead.” Tang Shaoyang pointed at the net that covered the whole cut.

He didn’t mind helping Ouyang Biya with her vengeance, but he didn’t plan to touch the other factions that didn’t get involved in the fall of the Ouyang Family. He didn’t want to get involved, at least, not without a clear reason.

This was just a payback to the Young Master Dongfang, who disturbed his date. He would let the young master watch as his family was destroyed by the Heaven Founder. The despair would be a good payback for him.

The ground exchanged glances, but none of them backed out. In fact, they reached a tacit agreement on something, nodding to each other.

”Doesn’t matter. The Dongfang Family is part of the Murim Alliance. Attacking them is the same as attacking us. We will not take this transgression kindly. Release Young Master Dongfang and surrender! That’s the only way for you to keep your life!”

Tang Shaoyang shook his head, dropping Young Master Dongfang to the ground, who then groaned in pain with his broken legs and arm.

He activated Wrath of Slayer, almost doubling his stats instantly. At the same time, Azure Dragon Blade appeared in his right hand.

”Since you want a fight, then I will give you one.”

He used Blink and appeared in front of the Nangong Family’s Young Master, Nangong Wulian. He kicked the young talent’s belly, sending him flying backward, crashing into seats on the other side of the venue.

Tang Shaoyang didn’t think of bullying the weakling, but he was showing what their priority should be. They should bring their young masters away instead of picking a fight against him.

That kick was not enough to kill the young man. He made sure not to use his full strength, or else he would have already left a hole in Nangong Wulian’s belly with his simple kick. The gap between him and Nangong Wulian is just too big, after all.

”You!”

His action left the people who surrounded him speechless and also angered them further.

But then his figure blurred again before they could come for him. He came back next to Young Master Dongfang. The Nangong Family’s people hurried to check on their young master, and the rest remained in their position.

”Do you still want to fight me?”

Tang Shaoyang saw the change in their expression and reaction. They no longer had the same confidence when they first approached him. They looked hesitant, unsure whether they should fight or not.

At this moment, Zara warped back next to him with Avyn, Aleesa, Ashley, and Liang Suyin. That shocked them how Zara brought them with her. That was something that was hard to explain even with their knowledge of various kinds of techniques.

The girls glanced at Young Master Dongfang, and the latter quickly looked away from them.

”Are we going to fight them too?” Ashley asked, ready to pick his opponent.

The fight against the people from the Heaven Founder was not enough for her to experience the martial arts. She needed more samples, and she felt like it was much better to learn it from experience instead of the theory that she had listened to and read in the Yang Clan estate.

Tang Shaoyang shrugged, ”They came to me, and it seems they are itching to fight. Let’s give them one, but let’s make the first move. You guys can take care of the rest.”

He took a step forward and lowered his stance. The reason he wanted to make the first move was that he had something in mind, an idea. The idea of mixing a skill and a technique.

He opened the Heavenly Gate and converted the Chaos Energy into Heavenly Energy. The conversion didn’t really remove Chaos Energy’s trait. It became dark-gold in color, and he was shrouded with that energy.

That alarmed the people from the Murim Alliance. They readied themselves for what would come. No one from the Murim Alliance tried to stop him. They preferred to block or maybe avoid what would come at them.

Fifth Heavenly Gate, Heavenly Sword - Heavenly Revoke

At the same time, he activated his skill, Invisible Slash. The skill that allowed him to extend his sword with his energy was invisible.

His figure blurred, but instead of rushing toward his enemy as usual with his quick draw technique. He moved in a circle as he swung the sword in a single direction.

”DODGE!” ”WATCH OUT!”

Two people from the Murim Alliance seemed to be able to sense the danger. They shouted to warn the others. These two came next to their young master, the person they were supposed to protect.

One of them brought his young master to the ground, and the second one brought their young master to the air.

The others had different reactions. A few of them tried to activate some kind of defensive formation, some of them tried to welcome the attack head-on, and the rest could not react in time.

Tang Shaoyang’s figure blurred for a moment, but then he reappeared again on the same spot. He sheathed his sword, and that was when the venue was cut. The upper part of the venue bounced up a bit before falling back, which caused a tremor.

At the same time, the defensive formation was cut into two, and cut the people behind them as well. They reacted in time, but their defensive formation was useless against the slash.

As for the people who failed to react? The result was obvious. They died with their upper body slumped to the side.

Only a quarter of the group survived. It was the people who followed the two people who warned them. They flew into the air with their flying sword, and the rest lay on the ground.

Among the tournament participants, only four them survived. The rest were killed by Tang Shaoyang’s sword.

”I gave you a chance, not just once, a few times.”
