Chapter 297, Let’s See if Those of Extremistis Country Are Blind

“Well, we’ll see if they are so blind as to be Seeking Death.” Lu Fan smiled, then put away the remaining Fallen Corpse Puppets, leaving only the Mad Hell Demon.

The Mad Hell Demon was very powerful, capable of steamrolling through this Death Desert Ocean alone.

After Lu Fan possessed the Nine Hell Demons Army, he thought about his days of auto farming Dungeons and Levelling Up. Now, with the chance to let the Fallen Corpse Puppets kill all his enemies for him, why should he waste his own effort?

When encountering Monsters, just let the Mad Hell Demon handle it.

Of course, Lu Fan had also considered whether to directly release the Nine Hell Demons Army to clear this entire map.

However, to find the Final Boss, one needs to collect Map Fragments. Lu Fan felt that since this mechanism exists, it was likely an important prerequisite for triggering the Final Boss’s appearance.

It was possible if he could not collect all the Map Fragments, the Final Boss would not appear. Lu Fan could not possibly dig through the entire Death Desert Ocean to find the Boss, could he?

Finding a Boss in such a nearly boundless Dungeon Instance would be like finding a needle in a haystack.

The Nine Hell Demons Army could kill Monsters, but they could not collect Dungeon Items for him.

If he let the army spread out to farm Monsters, Lu Fan would still have to search for Map Fragments one by one, which would be more troublesome.

To simply put it, they should treat it like they were Clearing a normal Dungeon. He should bring everyone along to search together, clearing whatever they encountered. This way, they would not miss out on important Mission Items like Map Fragments.

With the Mad Hell Demon, a Level 85 Epic Grade Boss, there were not many Monsters that required everyone’s effort.

Lu Fan had everyone split into three formations. The newly transformed Fallen Corpse Puppets and Demonic Bloodthirsty Bat formed the first line, walking at the front.

Once they encountered any danger, they would be the first to face it, fulfilling their role as cannon fodder.

The second formation was the Mad Hell Demon wielding its iron mace. If any monsters appeared, they would be dealt with immediately.

As for the last formation, that was Lu Fan and the others.

Everyone only needed to leisurely explore without worrying about anything else.

After arranging everyone in this formation, Lu Fan led everyone in one direction. Sure enough, the vanguard Fallen Corpse Puppets soon encountered trouble.

A Quicksand Vortex suddenly formed under their feet, pulling at their bodies, constantly sinking and drawing them toward the centre of the vortex.

Although the Fallen Corpse Puppets had no intelligence, they had combat instincts. After falling into the quicksand, they struggled desperately, trying to escape the vortex.

However, even though they were level 65 Elite Grade Monsters with High Attributes, they could not escape from the Quicksand Vortex’s pull and could only watch helplessly as they sank deeper.

Once swallowed by the quicksand, the result was predictable.

Seeing the front-most Fallen Corpse Puppets sink into the quicksand, all the girls present breathed sighs of relief while casting admiring glances at Lu Fan.

They had not been trapped by the Quicksand Vortex because of his foresight.

If Lu Fan had not warned everyone about possible dangers here, and had cannon fodder walk in front, they might have been the ones caught in the Quicksand Vortex.

Qin Qiu repeatedly sighed in admiration. After all, Lu Fan was now so experienced, able to so easily find the safest method to explore an unfamiliar Dungeon.

Lu Fan smiled this off.

Actually, these abilities were all taught to Lu Fan by Lui Fei and others back in the Extremely Far North Ice Plains.

How harsh was the Extremely Far North Ice Plains? Compared to the Extremely Far North Ice Plains, this Death Desert Ocean was just a Dungeon. It was naturally unable to threaten Lu Fan.

The Quicksand Vortex quickly swallowed the Fallen Corpse Puppets. Lu Fan was about to change direction and continue exploring, while having the airborne Demonic Bloodthirsty Bat land on the ground to continue serving as cannon fodder for everyone.

However, this Quicksand Vortex was not that simple.

Suddenly, from the centre of the Quicksand Vortex, a silvery spider thread shot out, precisely targeting the Demonic Bloodthirsty Bats, entangling them. It was trying to pull them down from the air and into the Quicksand Vortex.

[Is there something else inside the Quicksand Vortex?] Lu Fan’s eyes lit up at this sight.

The Demonic Bloodthirsty Bats naturally would not submit so easily. They glowed bright red as they activated their Bloodline Demonisation Skill, causing their Attributes to soar.

The red-glowing Demonic Bloodthirsty Bats engaged in a tug-of-war with whatever was in the Quicksand Vortex, with the thumb-thick spider thread pulled taut.

Tao Xiaoman, seeing this, wanted to help. Her blade surged with water as she prepared to release a Skill into the Quicksand Vortex – to see if she could blast out whatever was inside.

However, someone moved faster than her. It was the Mad Hell Demon.

The Mad Hell Demon was ordered to kill all Monsters it saw. Now that a Monster had appeared, how could it stand idly by?

The Mad Hell Demon stomped its foot and its body instantly soared into the air.

It raised the iron mace from its shoulder and then fiercely smashed it down.

Immediately, the ground trembled as shock waves burst upward from beneath the desert, somewhat similar to Magma Burst. However, while Magma Burst erupted with fire and magma, the Mad Hell Demon’s strike erupted with the force of its mace.

For a moment, *boom, boom, boom…* sounds rose and fell, as if a row of bombs were buried under the desert. It extended toward the centre of the Quicksand Vortex at an extremely fast pace.

In the blink of an eye, the shock waves reached the centre of the Quicksand Vortex.

*BOOM!*

The final thunderous sound exploded from the centre of the Quicksand Vortex.

It was as if the might of the Mad Hell Demon’s mace had finally found its release.

The Quicksand Vortex was immediately burst open by the upward shock wave, with sand from within the vortex being thrown up hundreds of meters high into the sky.

When the sand was thrown up, over ten hidden Monsters got exposed. Nearly half were directly shattered by the mace’s shock waves, while the other half, though not directly hit, were thrown into the air.

The Mad Hell Demon showed no mercy. After landing its mace, it swung it around its wrist once, which made it suddenly begin to grow larger and longer, before being hurled skyward.

The originally thick iron mace had now transformed into a sky-piercing pillar. As the Mad Hell Demon swung it, it carried powerful gales as it swept toward the airborne Monsters.

These Monsters were not the lost Fallen Corpse Puppets. They were all Monsters spawned from the Desert, such as spiders the same colour as the yellow sand, and some enormous white worms.

Lu Fan had not even had the time to use Appraisal on them before they were all smashed to death, mid-air, by the Mad Hell Demon’s single mace strike. They exploded in the sky before Lu Fan could do anything.
