Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 265, Collecting All Nine Hell Demons and Placing Them Under Control!

Translator: Silavin

Soon, half a month had passed.

The excitement of the National Trial never diminished, with every fluctuation in points and rankings causing heated discussions among citizens both domestically and internationally.

This year’s National Trial was vastly different compared to previous years.

In previous years, the representatives of Dragon Country, Feather Country, and Star Strip Country would chase each other for the top three positions on the ranking, with positions changing almost daily, keeping everyone on edge. Occasionally, representatives from smaller countries would rise up unexpectedly and break into the top three.

This year, however, a situation that had never occurred before was taking place. After all, Lu Fan alone dominated the first place position with an iron fist. Over half a month, Lu Fan led with over 7 million points, his first place position was now unshakeable.

No one knew how Lu Fan had obtained so many points.

In previous years, even when the National Trial ended, first place would only have around 1 million points. But Lu Fan had completely shattered that record, exceeding it by more than seven times!

In Extremistis Country, voices questioning Lu Fan’s methods had never ceased. However, no one had any evidence to prove that Lu Fan had cheated to obtain so many points.

So, even though those from Extremistis Country protested, they could not stop the National Trial from continuing.

Besides Lu Fan in first place, the rest had much more normal points.

Charles ranked second with 720K points, Andrei third with 680K points, Jin Chenghan fourth with 510K points, Musashi Ten fifth with 460K points…

After half a month, of the twenty-three country representatives, only ten remained. The others had either died at the hands of Monsters, or had been hunted down by other countries’ representatives. Otherwise, they zeroed their points for self-preservation and withdrew early.

This year’s National Trial was undoubtedly the one with the highest casualties. Many representatives from smaller countries had repeatedly requested to end the Trial during this period, but their requests had not been granted. In fact, Lu Fan did not know if others had approved of this request, but he had rejected all such attempts to end the Trial ‘prematurely’.

Although Lu Fan was already first, he still wanted to obtain as many points as possible to secure more resources for Dragon Country.

Inside the National Trial Secret Realm.

In a Dark Castle.

With a cry of pain, an armored ape wielding an iron club was killed.

This ape was also one of the Nine Hell Demons, called the Mad Hell Demon.

It was not killed by Lu Fan’s Pet Dragon, but by eight other Fallen Corpse Puppets whose aura and strength were no less than its own.

These eight were all Hell Demons.

With eight of the Nine Hell Demons fighting one, the result was obvious.

Although this Mad Hell Demon was said to be the strongest among the Nine Hell Demons, with extremely powerful Skills and no weaknesses, faced with eight opponents of equal Level surrounding it, defeat was inevitable.

As for the Mad Hell Demon’s Demon Army, they were naturally easily eliminated.

Lu Fan calmly watched the corpses scattered throughout the Dark Castle while riding the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon, having it use Fallen Corpse Control again.

Soon, throughout the Dark Castle, more bodies began to move.

At the same time, the Mad Hell Demon was revived and stood beside the other eight Hell Demons.

Lu Fan dismounted from the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon and looked at the now complete set of Nine Hell Demons and countless Monsters that made up the Demon Army, feeling excited.

Finally, after half a month of constant effort, he had found all the Dark Castles and enslaved all the Nine Hell Demons!

Lu Fan had fought with all the Nine Hell Demons and knew of their capabilities. The strength of one Nine Hell Demon was actually comparable to a Pet Dragon like Xiao Ye, and in some ways, even more formidable.

One could say that by possessing the Nine Hell Demons, Lu Fan’s Combat Power had increased to almost the same degree as gaining nine new Pet Dragons!

Of course, though the Nine Hell Demons were strong, being Puppets meant they had no potential for growth.

Once Pet Dragons like Xiao Ye grew in Level, their strength would certainly far surpass the Nine Hell Demons.

But for now, the Nine Hell Demons could serve as Lu Fan’s main combat force.

With the Nine Hell Demons, even if surrounded by Fourth Profession Players, Lu Fan would be able to escape unharmed and even potentially wipe them out instead.

When Extremistis Country originally suppressed the Nine Hell Demons rebellion, they had to send five of their top Fourth Profession Players to kill the Nine Hell Demons one by one.

If the Nine Hell Demons had been together, forget five Fourth Profession Players – even fifty might not have been a match for the combined force of the Nine Hell Demons!

With the Nine Hell Demons by his side, Lu Fan could basically walk sideways around the Secret Realm. Moreover, what Lu Fan had gained from this National Trial was not just the Nine Hell Demons, but virtually the entire Demon Army!

Although there were some losses in troops, the nine Demon Armies together still numbered nearly more than a hundred thousand Monsters!

Among them were nine Level 85 Diamond Grade Bosses like the Demon General!

As for other weaker Bosses, there were countless!

Any random Monster from the Demon Army could give a normal Third Profession Player a headache.

This Nine Hell Demons’ Army was definitely enough to threaten a small country’s existence!

Lu Fan was now basically equivalent to a mobile Human-form nuclear weapon.

All this was thanks to Extremistis Country’s Nine Hell Demons system.

Lu Fan sincerely thanked the Jin Family’s Ancestors, and their eighteen generations, for giving him the Nine Hell Demons’ Army.

He soon began his usual method of storing the Nine Hell Demons, the Level 85 Diamond Grade Bosses and their two hundred guards in the Puppet Sub-Space, leaving a group of Monsters to guard the Dark Castle.

As for the other Monsters, they all scattered to hunt other Monsters, farming Experience Points and points.

As for Lu Fan, he lay on the throne in this Dark Castle, beginning to count his gains from the past half a month.

Besides the nine Demon Armies, Lu Fan’s biggest gain was his Level increase.

He had now reached Level 41, Xiao Ye had reached Level 38, while Xiao Cui and Xing Chen were Level 35 and 29 respectively.

After reaching Level 35, Xiao Cui had entered her Maturing Period and could be Mounted, but Lu Fan was not very interested in riding her.

First, Xiao Cui was too small. Riding her would not make him as imposing as when he was riding Xiao Ye. Second, Xiao Cui was a Support Specialised Dragon, riding her would hardly increase his combat effectiveness.

Lu Fan was now just waiting for Xing Chen to ‘grow up’.

Just thinking about riding Xing Chen in her Starlight Form, sharing that hundreds of thousands of points in Physical Attribute, made Lu Fan excited.

It had to be noted that Xiao Cui, upon entering her Maturing Period, had also learned a new Skill – Dragon Domain.

When Lu Fan saw this Skill, his eyes lit up, feeling this Skill was simply too appropriately timed.
