Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 262, The Demon General Alone is Enough

Translator: Silavin

Experience the power of the Demon Army? How could they possibly experience it when the Demon Army had not even been created?

Although Jin Chenghan was confused, when he saw Lu Fan draw out a Summoning Array, he thought the other party was preparing to fight against them.

So, in response, he immediately began summoning his Abyss Summons, creating several Summoning Arrays in succession, from which emerged terrifying and ugly Monsters.

What Lu Fan summoned was, naturally, Xiao Cui. To deal with Jin Chenghan, there was no need to use Xiao Ye or Xing Chen.

After Xiao Cui appeared, she immediately used her Skill to summon one of the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon Brothers.

Although they were not Lu Fan’s direct Summons, Jin Chenghan could not possibly know that. He just thought Lu Fan had summoned two Pet Dragons in succession.

When he saw Lu Fan summon these two Pet Dragons, Jin Chenghan was visibly startled because according to his knowledge, Lu Fan’s Pet Dragon should have been a Black Dragon.

Yet, Lu Fan had summoned two Pet Dragons at once, neither of which was the rumored Black Dragon.

[Could Lu Fan actually be in possession of three Pet Dragons!?] Thinking of this possibility, Jin Chenghan’s heart trembled.

However, what shocked him was not limited to this.

Following the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon’s roar, a portal opened.

This portal, naturally, led to the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon’s Puppet Sub-Space.

Indeed, to deal with Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten, Lu Fan did not even need to use Xiao Cui and the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon.

Since Jin Chenghan thought the Dark Castle was so easy to Clear, then he wanted to let the Demon Army deal with them. In fact, the Demon Army in the Puppet Sub-Space did not even need to be fully deployed.

Lu Fan thought for a moment, planning to send out only the Demon General and two hundred Demon Knights.

These were the Dark Castle’s final wave of Monsters, just before the Final Boss, a Hell Demon. They were more than enough to deal with Jin Chenghan’s forces.

Following Lu Fan’s silent command, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon received the order and released the Demon General and Demon Knights from the Puppet Sub-Space.

The sound of armor clashing came from within the portal, followed by the massive Demon General emerging, looking down upon Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten.

As soon as the Demon General appeared, Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten’s previous confidence and composure completely vanished.

Especially Jin Chenghan – when he used his Identification Skill and learned this Monster was called ‘Demon General’, he felt his blood run cold.

As someone from Extremistis Country, he naturally knew that among the Hell Demon’s Army, the Demon General was their top commander.

In the past, the Demon General had even killed Fourth Profession Players from their Extremistis Country!

The Demon General was second only to the Hell Demon. So, it was a true wonder as to how Lu Fan could summon it!

Jin Chenghan felt completely dumbfounded.

Not just the Demon General – following him, Demon Knights riding Mounts emerged from the portal one after another.

A full two hundred Gold Grade Bosses might not seem like much to Lu Fan, who had never even considered them as Bosses. But to others, these Level 75 Gold Grade Bosses were extremely troublesome existences. Especially so in the eyes of expert Players like Musashi Ten and Jin Chenghan.

After all, the Demon Knights were over ten Levels higher than them and were Gold Grade Bosses. They could handle one or two. But facing ten, they would definitely have to retreat.

Yet, now, there were a full two hundred Gold Grade Bosses here!

Even more terrifying was that these two hundred Gold Grade Bosses were merely followers of a Level 85 Diamond Grade (Terror) Boss!

Whether it was the numerous Demon Knights or the Demon General, they were all existences that Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten absolutely could not afford to provoke.

Now that they were all present inside the Dark Castle, the pressure they created was unimaginable!

Both Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten’s expressions froze.

The Abyss Summons Jin Chenghan had summoned earlier had been fierce and roaring constantly when they appeared. But now, they had all become docile, obediently lying down before the Demon General’s cavalry, not daring to cause any trouble.

Just in terms of Summons alone, Lu Fan had completely overwhelmed Jin Chenghan. Furthermore, this was less than a third of the forces in Lu Fan’s Puppet Sub-Space.

Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten stood frozen like statues. Their earlier arrogance? No where to be found.

Seeing them like this, Lu Fan laughed. “Hahahaha… You two were just saying that killing the Monsters outside counted as clearing the Dark Castle, right? Now that just one wave of Monsters inside of a Dark Castle has appeared, why have you both gone quiet? Don’t tell me you two thought that coming to this Dark Castle meant you could Solo Clear it?”

Lu Fan’s mockery brought them both back to their senses.

Jin Chenghan looked at the Demon General and other Bosses before him, his lips trembling. “This… this is impossible!! Isn’t the Demon General supposed to be a Hell Demon’s top commander? Theoretically, even if it appears, it should appear as part of the Demon Army. Why, how did it become your Summon?”

“What’s going on here…”

Seeing Jin Chenghan questioning his life choices, Lu Fan, intending to let him die with understanding, smiled and said. “You were just too clever for your own good. You really thought that the Dark Castles had an exploit and no Monsters inside had spawned?”

“Let me enlighten you then. This Dark Castle you’re in has been cleared by me long ago. Moreover, I have a Skill that can revive dead Monsters and make them serve me. When you killed the Monsters outside, didn’t you notice you didn’t get any points? That’s because they were all just my Summons. Of course you wouldn’t get any points for killing them. To be honest, not just this Demon General, two Hell Demons are now my Summons.”

After a pause, Lu Fan showed a harmless smile. “Come to think of it, I really should thank your Extremistis Country for investing so many resources to recreate them. You’ve given me so many powerful Summons.”

The last sentence was naturally meant for the Extremistis Country’s overall supervisor to hear.

Lu Fan knew everything here would be seen and heard by the Extremistis Country’s overall supervisor. However, he did not care. He only cared about whether the Extremistis Country would cough up blood in rage after knowing the whole story.

“Well, now that you both know the truth, you can die.” Lu Fan said, snapping his fingers: “Demon General, begin!”

“Roar!” The Demon General let out a beast-like howl and raised his great sword, charging toward Jin Chenghan and Musashi Ten.

The Demon Knights followed closely behind, forming an unstoppable tide of steel.
