Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 285, Not Allowed to be Called Xiao Lan?

Translator: Silavin

Although Xing Chen didn’t care much for Lu Fan, she knew he was her master and had to give him some face.

She lifted her Dragon Claw and flew back to the messy bed, intending to continue sleeping.

Though the Baby Dragon had verbally agreed not to cause trouble after being released, once freed it made an *Ang!* sound and immediately tried to charge at Xing Chen to fight, clearly determined to avenge all the humiliation it had suffered.

Lu Fan moved quickly, immediately grabbing the Little Dragon before it could seek out Xing Chen and earn another beating.

Though the Blue Dragon King was covered in lightning, whether due to deliberately protecting Lu Fan or because it was Lu Fan’s Pet Dragon, the lightning didn’t harm him.

Lu Fan felt no discomfort, so he relaxed and held the Baby Dragon while advising: “Alright, alright, you’re only Level 1, how could you be their match? Behave yourself!”

The Blue Dragon King was combative, but its attitude toward Lu Fan was much better than Xing Chen’s.

Perhaps afraid its sharp fangs and claws would hurt Lu Fan, after being stopped by him, the Baby Dragon indeed calmed down. It turned its head to Lu Fan and made another *Ang!* sound, seemingly quite obedient.

Seeing it truly settle down, Lu Fan finally relaxed and put the Baby Dragon down, wiping sweat from his brow.

In this short time, the room had been thrown into complete chaos. Only now did Lu Fan have the time and opportunity to check the Blue Dragon King’s Attribute Panel.

Looking at the Attribute Panel, it was clear why the Blue Dragon King was so combative – the numbers explained everything.

As Lu Fan had guessed, this was a Magic Attack Combat Specialised Dragon.

Blue Dragon King – Wrath of the Storm (Baby Dragon Form)

Strength: 151

Agility: 378

Mana: 1394

Endurance: 338

Heaven’s Punishment (Active Skill, LV1) – Locks onto an enemy unit, bringing down divine punishment. Deals devastating damage that cannot be dodged!

Lu Fan’s Dragon Pet Family had gained a new member, a specialised one at that. Moreover, this was their first male member!

The Blue Dragon King was completely opposite to Xing Chen. While Xing Chen had overwhelmingly High Strength but Low Mana, the Blue Dragon King had overwhelmingly High Mana but Low Strength. Furthermore, the Blue Dragon King’s overwhelming Mana Attribute was extraordinarily high.

Xiao Cui, being a Support Specialised Dragon, had High Mana Attribute. Even so, at birth, she only had about several hundred points in her Mana Attribute.

The Blue Dragon King, on the other hand, basically doubles that.

[Once he grows up, he will likely be so formidable, his Skills could no longer be described as ‘Dragon Language Magic’. I think they would be called ‘Forbidden Spells’ instead.]

Besides Attributes, the Blue Dragon King’s Skills were even more extraordinary, almost all being

Magic Attack Skills. He was unlike Xing Chen, who at Level 1 at least had Starlight Armour as a Defensive Skill.

This clearly shows this particular Dragon Clan’s attitude of ‘if I can’t blast my enemy to death, I’ll get beaten to death instead’. A true glass canon mindset.

Thinking back to the Blue Dragon King’s combative personality, Lu Fan could not tell if his active nature was due to his race or maybe his gender?

In any case, this Blue Dragon King would likely cause more trouble in the future. Still, it seemed relatively obedient now, which gave Lu Fan some peace of mind.

If he was disobedient like Xing Chen and combative, Lu Fan would really have a headache.

Perhaps tired from all the commotion, the Blue Dragon King had quieted down considerably and began observing Xiao Ye and his other three Sisters, possibly trying to recognize who was in his new Family.

Lu Fan thought for a moment. [I can’t always keep calling him Blue Dragon King. That won’t do. I need to come up with a name.]

Perhaps sensing Lu Fan’s thoughts, Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui simultaneously gave Lu Fan expectant looks, almost speaking Human words to help Lu Fan brainstorm – ‘Look at our Fourth Brother, his body is wreathed in lightning, like thunder splitting the sky. Shouldn’t his name be – Xiao Lan!?’

Unfortunately, Lu Fan ignored the eager Xiao’ generation of his Dragon Children. After pondering for a long time, he finally decided upon, “Let’s call him Bao Bao (Boom boom).”

“The Blue Dragon King is a Lightning Element Magic Attack Type Pet Dragon. His Magic Attack will definitely be terrifying in the future. But, calling him ‘Nuclear Explosion’ would be a bit too blunt, Bao Bao seems to suit him just right.”

*Ang!* The Blue Dragon King raised his head in response, appearing very satisfied with this name.

However, Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui were devastated, only regretting that they had come into this world too early.

The two Dragons protested non-stop, until Lu Fan finally had to take out some grilled meat to pacify the complaining Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui.

Just then, the System notification came again.

Lu Fan had become numb to these notifications.

While petting his Dragons, he opened the new Treasure Map.

Sure enough, it was in another place he had never heard of.

Lu Fan thought for a moment, counted all the Treasure Maps in his System Sub-Space, then began synthesizing those maps he could claim-

Low Grade synthesized into Mid Grade, Mid Grade synthesized into High Grade, High Grade synthesized into Peak Grade.

Finally, Lu Fan was surprised to find that because he had accumulated so many Treasure Maps recently, after continuous synthesis, he had unexpectedly produced three Peak Grade Treasure Maps.

Unfortunately, the coordinates on all three Peak Grade Treasure Maps were still unknown locations. Lu Fan had no idea when he would be able to reach these distant places.

So without saying more, continue synthesizing!
