Chapter 256, Going to the Dark Castle!

Jin Chenghan immediately said after pondering for a moment. “Him having such high points is going to be problematic for us, right? Why not just disqualify him from the competition!?”

Their thoughts were surprisingly similar.

Jin Zaian sighed and asked in return, “How could I not have thought of what you’re saying? But the Secret Realm maintainers have already said that the Secret Realm’s rules are functioning as per normal. There are no anomalies. I have no grounds to forcibly kick the Dragon Country representative out of the Secret Realm.”

Jin Chenghan frowned and asked. “How could there be no anomalies with such abnormal point gains? Are those maintainers all useless?”

“There’s no point discussing this!” Jin Zaian saw the Transport Array becoming increasingly unstable and spoke faster/ “I came here to tell you about the current points situation. You can’t hope to exceed the Dragon Country representative’s points by slowly grinding Monsters and doing Missions. Even if you can maintain second place, in the end, your points would only be about one-tenth of the total. If that happens, Extremistis Country won’t get much wagered resources.”

“To get more points, we must figure out exactly how the Dragon Country representative is clearing the Dark Castle.”

“Although before the National Trial began, I already had those that built up the Secret Realm run many tests, and there should not be any exploits, the Dragon Country representative must be using some kind of exploit to kill the Hell Demons.”

“Your Profession is very versatile, with various Abyss Summoners that can handle different situations, you should be able to find any exploits in the Dark Castles. So, I need you to go to the Dark Castle and see if you can find a way to kill a Hell Demon. The Nine Hell Demons must have some fatal weakness!”

“If you can also find the Dark Castle exploit, then catching up in points shouldn’t be a problem.”

Jin Chenghan nodded in agreement.

He had left many Abyss Entangler heads in the Secret Realm, giving him many chances to revive after death, so he was not afraid of dying.

Him going in to check the insides of a Dark Castle was no big deal.

If the Dark Castle really had some exploit to take advantage of, Jin Chenghan felt that if Lu Fan could find it, he definitely could too.

Seeing Jin Chenghan having no objections, Jin Zaian nodded and prepared to leave.

“In that case, quickly set out. There are only nine Dark Castles in total. The Dragon Country representative has already obtained the points from the Diabolical Hell Demon and Sturdy Hell Demon. You must hurry to find the exploit and get as many points as possible from the remaining Dark Castles!” As he spoke, Jin Zaian was about to leave.

However, before leaving, he thought for a moment and said with gravity in his voice. “By the way, I need to warn you to prepare for the worst.”

“Earlier, I did tell you the location of the Ultimate Mission Scroll, but before understanding the Dragon Country representative’s true strength, I don’t recommend you take up this Mission. Because if the Dark Castle has no exploits, and the Dragon Country representative can really clear it through his own ability, then the Ultimate Mission Scroll will just get you killed…”

Jin Chenghan laughed after hearing this, not taking it to heart. “Second Uncle, I think you’re overthinking things. What does it matter if Lu Fan has a Pet Dragon? Without an exploit, he absolutely cannot be a match for any of the Nine Hell Demons. Clear the Dark Castle Solo with his own ability? No representative in the entire National Trial can do that!”

Jin Zaian frowned and warned. “Never be too absolute about anything. In any case, it’s better to be cautious. We still don’t know much about his Pet Dragon. Maybe his clearing of the Dark Castles isn’t due to an exploit, but rather his Pet Dragon being an inherently illogical existence.”

“In any case, remember what I’ve taught you. Whatever you do, make sure you have sufficient certainty before acting.”

Jin Chenghan opened his mouth but did not argue back, only saying. “I understand, Second Uncle, don’t worry. This year’s National Trial, our Extremistis Country will definitely be first!”

“En…” Jin Zaian nodded, seeing the Transport Array starting to crumble, he waved his hand without saying more and stepped into it, leaving the Secret Realm.

After Jin Zaian left, the Transport Array finally crumbled, disappearing from its spot as if it had never existed.

“Lu Fan? Solo clearing Dark Castles? Pffft, what a joke!” Jin Chenghan laughed and shook his head.

At this moment, seemingly sensing that Jin Zaian had left, Musashi Ten leaped over to Jin Chenghan’s side, grinning as he asked. “Extremistis Country sure is impressive, even able to have the main organiser personally come down here to deliver you information. With this kind of ability, why not have a Fifth Profession Player come and help us sweep through the Dark Castle? If we killed all Nine Hell Demons, wouldn’t our points be higher than anyone else’s?”

These words contained quite a bit of sarcasm, but Musashi Ten was always ‘eloquent’ with his words, and Jin Chenghan was already used to it.

He glared at Musashi Ten and coldly said, “Some things, you Cherry Blossom Country people should pretend not to see, even if you did. After all, this benefits your country too. Revealing it would do no one any good.”

Musashi Ten raised both hands, smiling sheepishly. “I understand everything you’re saying. Don’t worry, how could anyone from my country backstab our allies?”

After a pause, Musashi Ten moved closer and asked. “By the way, what is so important that your Second Uncle had to personally come down here to tell you?”

Jin Chenghan said: “It’s about the Dragon Country representative who’s first on the points leaderboard.”

Jin Chenghan briefly told Musashi Ten about Lu Fan’s situation, finally saying, “… My Second Uncle wants us to go check out a Dark Castle, and find the exploit. He wants us to it to overtake him.”

“I see…” When he heard that the Dark Castle had exploits that could be used to gain over a million points, Musashi Ten’s eyes lit up. “In that case, shall we go to a Dark Castle right now?”

“What’s the rush?” Jin Chenghan said calmly, pointing to the Mission information above their heads, “Right now, we both have Missions. Let’s clear these Missions first before going to a Dark Castle.”

“The Dark Castles move unpredictably. They can potentially appear anywhere on the map. Without accepting a Hunting Mission for one of the Nine Hell Demons and getting location guidance, even I would have trouble finding a castle.”

Musashi Ten nodded and said. “You’re right. In that case, let’s quickly clear our Missions. I’m worried that if we delay for too long, the all Nine Hell Demons will be killed by that Dragon Country brat. If that happens, we won’t be able to catch up to him in points even if we tried.”

Jin Chenghan smiled and said unhurriedly. “What’s the rush? Even if he kills all the Nine Hell Demons, he might not be able to hold onto first place. To be frank, you and I will definitely take first and second place in this National Trial. Heck, even if Lu Fan makes use of exploits and scores several million points, so what? I just need to accept the Ultimate Mission Scroll and I can take all his points!”

“Ultimate Mission Scroll?” Musashi Ten asked with confusion, “What’s that?”
