Chapter 630: Chapter 258 Choosing Innate Wizardry (Two-in-One Mega Chapter) _3

The light gradually stabilized.

Rein opened his eyes and looked.

He saw a silver mist at the top layer of the prism crystal, while the middle contained a red mist, the length of the silver clearly longer than the red.

At the bottom of the crystal were some mixed colors that could be ignored.

“Eh, my lord, you actually have an extremely rare metal element affinity! And it has reached an upper-class level,” the girl exclaimed in surprise, clicking her tongue in wonder.

Uh?

Upper class?

Rein’s heart shook!

Indeed, his affinity for the metal element had changed.

Before Rein could ask, the girl volunteered the data:

“My lord, your metal element affinity is 84.2, belonging to the upper class, truly rare. Ranking second is the fire element affinity at 71.8, which is above the middle class, also very good.”

Metal element affinity 84.2!

Rein remembered clearly.

When Naya had tested him before, his metal element affinity was only 72, but now it had reached 84.2, no wonder his wizardry power had improved so much!

The higher the affinity for a certain element, the stronger the wizardry power under the same conditions.

In other words, now if Rein cast metal series wizardry, it would be significantly more powerful than before.

The key question was, he might still possibly be able to obtain innate wizardry points in the future and improve his ‘Steel Body’ talent.

This also meant that his metal element affinity could potentially reach higher levels, which would make the power increase of Rein’s metal series wizardry quite considerable!

It should be noted that advancing the mastery level of witchcraft only increases the casting speed and does not improve the potency of the witchcraft.

To enhance the power of witchcraft, the simplest means is to improve spiritual power.

But the problem is that the improvement of spiritual power requires the meditation practice accumulated over months and years.

Moreover, among wizards of the same level, such as a Level 1 Wizard, the difference in spiritual power is very small, so the enhancement of wizardry power through element affinity becomes especially precious.

Now, Rein faced a delightful dilemma!

A dilemma that no one else would have.

He had originally planned to study the defensive Level 1 wizardry ‘Resist Fire Ring’ along with a fusion agent to advance to a formal Wizard.

But now, it would be a real pity not to follow the path of metal series.

“My lord?” The girl saw the young Sword Bearer lord standing there in a daze and couldn’t help but softly remind him.

“Oh, it’s nothing,” Rein replied.

“My lord, do you need to conduct any other tests? Like total spiritual power, comprehension of wizardry models, and so on,” the girl asked on her own initiative.

“No, thank you,” said Rein.

Right now, Rein was focused on choosing his witchcraft path.

These tests could be conducted next time he wanted; they were available any time.

“My lord, regarding the study of metal series wizardry, the branch here does not have an instructor who specifically offers related teaching. However, there are two instructors for fire series wizardry,” the girl said.

“Next time!” Rein waved his hand and left the third floor.

….

All the way, Rein was still pondering!

“The problem is that if I choose the metal series, there are too few wizardries….”

“Of course, there might also be some metal series wizardries in certain wizard schools, such as the Bixu Construct Guild that offers this Metal Morphing Spell, which surely has more than just this one spell!”

“But this still needs to be confirmed.”

While pondering, Rein quickly made his way to the Sword Bearers Branch library.

….

Inside the library.

“Hello, my lord, how can I assist you?” a lovely girl clerk saw Rein approaching, stood up and bowed.

“Look up information on metal series wizardry for me,” Rein said, while handing her his golden badge without waiting.

“Certainly, my lord! Please wait a moment,” the girl respectfully took the badge with both hands and began searching promptly.

“I found them, my lord. There are eleven ancient tomes that are related to metal series wizardry. They include ‘Introduction to Ancient Metal Series Wizardry,’ ‘The Application of Metal Series Wizardry in Equipment Manufacture,’ ‘Introduction to Ancient Metal Series Wizardry (Steel Barrier)’….”

“Borrow all eleven books.”

“Huh?” The girl blinked her big eyes at Rein.

All eleven books? Can he finish reading them all?

“Is there a problem?”

“No… no problem, my lord. The total borrowing cost is 110 Merit Points.”

“Swipe.”

…..

Soon, Rein returned to his room carrying a stack of thick rubbings, immediately devouring them like a parched reader.

Rein used a scanning style for fast reading.

Two hours later, he quickly clarified several issues.

Firstly, the book ‘The Application of Metal Series Wizardry in Equipment Manufacturing’ mentioned that the empire had Level 1 metal series wizardries such as ‘Mercury Sword,’ ‘Steel Ball Rolling,’ and Level 2 metal series wizardry ‘Spiky Torrent,’ and so on.

However, due to the special applications of metal series wizardry in equipment manufacturing, they were strictly regulated by the empire.

Simply put, if Rein wanted to officially acquire metal series wizardry, he would continue to have to raise his rank or, in other words, his permissions.

Beyond this, individual wizard schools also possessed some metal series wizardry.

For example, ‘The Application of Metal Series Wizardry in Construct Guild’ documented a Level 2 metal series wizardry ‘Construct Guard’ within the Bixu Construct Guild.

This guild was one dedicated to studying metallic automatons and war colossi, with very few people in the entire school.

After all, without an affinity for metal elements, it was impossible to dabble in this field.

At the same time, multiple ancient tomes recorded that ‘Metal Morphing Spell’ was a very important spell in the metal series, providing different degrees of enhancement to other metal series wizardry.
