”Let’s go!”

Seeing the change in the main quest, Gu Xi immediately grabbed Kro’s hand and dragged the now frantic Kro aside.

”What are you doing?”

”If you don’t want to die, leave now.”

Gu Xi didn’t care about anything else. He immediately released the Holy Silver Evil Coffin and dragged Kro onto it.

Kro still wanted to speak but was slapped down by Gu Xi, then the Holy Silver Evil Coffin instantly charged outward, without mentioning anything else, considering just one thing—finding an exit to escape the underground black market.

Luckily, the black market set up entrances and exits everywhere to ensure the safety of guests and goods.

If guests want to leave, as long as they find the right way out, they can quickly leave without anyone stopping them.

The auction house situation happened somewhat suddenly.

Although it caused some chaos, there was no obstruction on the outskirts.

Seizing this opportunity, Gu Xi rushed out of the black market in one go.

By this time, Kro was also back to his senses.

”Brother Gu, what’s going on?”

”Nothing much, someone chose to die, it’s better we don’t get involved.”

Once they charged onto Beite Alliance Street, Gu Xi finally relaxed a little.

He thought this Kro was really a magnet for trouble, wherever he goes, trouble follows.

That woman just offended him, but raising the bid a little should’ve been enough, no need to risk one’s life.

Now things have turned into this.

The black market over there won’t be accessible for a while.

No, at this moment, Gu Xi realized, the fourth ring task he received was to escort Kro out of Beite Alliance.

The current situation felt wrong.

Seeing Gu Xi’s changing expressions, Kro was also a little confused.

”Did something happen?”

”I’m afraid... Did you bring all your belongings? Is there anywhere else to go? I think we need to leave Beite Alliance.”

”Why...?”

Just as Kro began to ask, a loud explosion sounded from afar.

Turning back, Gu Xi and Kro simultaneously realized that the explosion happened exactly where the underground auction house was located.

Looking back, Gu Xi then looked at Kro.

”Do you now understand why I want to leave Bite Alliance City?”

”I don’t have much to carry. I was planning to restock here at Beite Alliance, but then this happened. However, I already got the maps I wanted, leaving now is fine; I’ll find a place for archaeology, three to five months will pass quickly.

When I come back, there won’t be any issues here.”

Kro quickly understood what was going on and realized the situation wasn’t directly related to him.

It was just before that woman acted, he provoked a bit.

This matter wasn’t directly tied to him, spend three to five months outside Beite Alliance City, come back and there will be no trouble.

Just as the explosion sounded, Gu Xi noticed all the angels standing on the rooftop flew into the air.

Each angel protected the building they initially stood on.

They ignored the rest of the area.

Meanwhile, the sound of horns echoed in the city. Troops in the city began moving outward, everyone still running on the streets got targeted.

Gu Xi didn’t want to face such a situation, he maneuvered the Holy Silver Evil Coffin towards the outskirts of the city.

No matter the situation inside, leaving the city was the logical choice now.

If we don’t leave the city at this time, getting blocked inside would be troublesome.

Kro also noticed where Gu Xi was heading, at this moment he kept pointing directions.

Gu Xi rolled his eyes, ”Stop trying to direct traffic, I know my way.”

”Listen to me, I know which way is safe.”

Kro still insisted on directing the way.

At that moment, a figure landed on the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

Turning his head, Gu Xi saw it was Shaya who had been sent out earlier to deal with the thieves.

At this time, Shaya was calm, nodding upon seeing Gu Xi.

”Sir.”

”How’s the situation?”

”All the thieves under that woman have been killed, and we’ve uncovered that woman’s situation.”

”Oh, tell me.”

Gu Xi immediately got curious, after all this time the fight had reached such a point, he still didn’t know that woman’s name or background.

”They’re from the underground Black Stone Tower Country, the woman is the princess of Black Stone Tower, named Kexia.

She came because her brother, the crown prince of Black Stone Tower died, causing internal turmoil, she brought people hoping to ask Beite Alliance City’s Archangel for resurrection.”

So, she came here for a family resurrection, but Gu Xi still felt a little unclear.

”Why come this far? There are several Human Empires nearby, any Great Angel can perform a resurrection.”

”Beite Alliance’s Grand Archangel resurrects in exchange for money without leaving a resurrection mark.

This is the most important part, if other Great Angels perform a resurrection, a mark would be left.

It signifies that this person has died once.

Such a person can’t ascend in the Human Realm.

Because people might doubt whether he was manipulated during resurrection, if his soul was swapped, etc.,

For commoners like us it’s okay, some realms are very strict about resurrection.

Once revived, even a King would immediately abdicate.”

Listening on the side, Kro also explained at this time.

He’s familiar with such matters.

”Oh, so we’ve crushed her hope then.” Gu Xi calmly remarked, ”Kro, let’s find a distant place to stay for now, better not return to Beite Alliance.”

”Also fine, if I knew earlier I would have just killed that guy.”

Kro also understood the kind of person he had offended.

This time not insisting, ”I was going to go far for archaeology, Brother Gu, how about we go together?

This time the map I’ve found isn’t simple, it’s one of the three famous ancient battlefields when the Ancient Giant Dragon unified the world.

That battle was dark enough to crack three places on the ground.

Many ancient battlefields disappeared from the earth for this reason.

Though later such changes brought some battlefields back to the earth.

But some parts of major battlefields never reappeared.

This time I got word.

Something big happened.

The last ancient battlefield, where the dragon exterminated the Hundred Races appeared.

Although it’s uncertain, we still need to go check.”

At this point, Krudon hesitated, feeling Gu Xi’s eyes seemed to light up.

Kro then recalled Gu Xi’s profession, thinking to himself: Bad!
