Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 180: Chapter 178: A Great Harvest

As Gu Xi pondered over the matter, another item was presented in front of him.

Compared to the Ghost Face, which he had little use for at the moment, the item now in front of him was exactly what he could use.

This item was found on an Otherworldly Monk, and it was a bracelet that looked like prayer beads. Gu Xi was somewhat surprised when he got it in his hand.

[You have obtained the White Bone Bracelet (Green)]

[White Bone Bracelet (Green, Ornament)]

[Attack: 1]

[Equipped: Intelligence +1]

[Equipment Requirements: Intelligence 2]

[Special: Soul Gathering, Soul Summoning Skill success rate +5.]

[Description: Soul Summoning Skill, the cornerstone of the Undead Mage.]

Gu Xi was quite fond of this ornament. Despite being green, to him, it was no less than a divine artifact.

Without a second thought, he immediately put the White Bone Bracelet on his right hand.

Gu Xi also wanted to take the opportunity to perform a summoning, but unexpectedly, his Undead Corps had already started transporting bodies.

This left Gu Xi a bit speechless. At first, he thought his subordinates were slow, but now it seemed it was not their sluggishness but Gu Xi’s rapidly changing thoughts.

Fortunately, these undead knew what Gu Xi wanted. Several white baboon skins were brought over, even though some were damaged or broken. It was at least a gain.

Besides, any item with a green quality would be prioritized by the undead for Gu Xi to choose from.

This somewhat comforted Gu Xi.

In the following period, Gu Xi received several more good items.

Two of them came from the giant Otherworldly Ghost Boss that was blown up by the Death Incarnation.

[You have obtained a Broken Giant Wooden Rod (Green)]

[Broken Giant Wooden Rod (Green): A giant wooden rod with Giant attributes, it can be integrated into weaponry, endowing the weaponry with Giant attributes.]

[You have obtained the Little House Backpack (Green)]

[Little House Backpack (Green): A backpack made from a Wooden House in the Forest, contains ten black-faced sheep and five hundred pounds of blood wheat grass. If this little house is placed at a designated location, it can establish a Farmer’s House for the city or forest.]

[Farmer’s House (Large): Construct a Farmer’s House (Large Building) in the city using 500 resources, 10 units of stone, and 10 units of wood. After completion, 60 farmers can be trained per week. Ten black-faced sheep can be produced per week. Five hundred pounds of blood wheat grass or blood oats can be produced per week.]

[Farmer (Level 0): Experience (0/50) Attack 1, Defense 1, Life 5, Skills: Pay Taxes (Pay 1 point of tax per day per level, can upgrade to Militia after level 3).]

Gu Xi was quite speechless about these two items because they were carried over by several zombies.

The giant rod was fine; Gu Xi had tested it. This large rod could be split into multiple pieces.

Not to mention anything else, simply splitting it to make long spear shafts could yield five hundred. If made smaller, mass production of weapons wouldn’t be a problem.

What really surprised Gu Xi was the Little House Backpack.

He didn’t expect the city’s buildings to be played with like this.

A Farmer’s House.

Gu Xi had heard in school that occupying a Farmer’s House in the wild was as good as striking it rich.

Because a Farmer’s House can supply matching crops weekly, most importantly, the farmers themselves aren’t strong, so the weekly spawn rate is relatively high.

Relying just on tax collection could yield significant earnings, not to mention that farmers make the best material for creating skeletons.

Other units turning into skeletons would be a downgrade in strength, only farmers turning into skeletons would be an upgrade in strength.

But the problem is that Gu Xi’s city is a Death City.

This directly prevents Gu Xi from utilizing the Little House Backpack to construct a Farmer’s House.

In his city, the only things appearing would either be undead or those that do not conflict with the undead or have little need for life and food.

Truly, if he tried to farm a group of farmers in Yalidu City, they would starve to death in no time.

Although dead farmers could be thrown into an Evil Temple or Evil Church to turn into skeletons, it would be somewhat wasteful.

Seeing this item, Gu Xi suddenly thought of something his teacher mentioned in class.

What to do if a wild Training Camp is occupied in the wild.

Whether it’s possible to convert that wild Training Camp into a Training Camp usable by undead through certain means.

At the time, Gu Xi listened very attentively because, not yet employed as an Undead Mage, Gu Xi hadn’t realized how lucky he was.

Getting a Death City right at the start.

Gu Xi thought he could only rely on occupying wild Training Camps to supplement and enrich his troops for a long time.

Therefore, during his studies, Gu Xi studied extra hard.

The teachers at the Nether Bone Wind Academy had some experience and mostly covered practical cases.

This made Gu Xi believe that even if he hadn’t practiced it personally, he could handle it.

At this moment, an idea arose in Gu Xi’s mind: Should he use the Undead Calamity’s Ritual Array to turn the Little House Backpack into having Undead Attributes?

The moment this thought arose, Gu Xi’s heart was moved.

It’s a good idea, give it a try when the battle is almost over.

After all, the Undead Calamity Array has to be packed up once it’s over.

Just in time to borrow some Yin Qi accumulated by the Catastrophe Mage.

”Take this inside first and put it outside the City Gate. Is there anything else?”

As soon as Gu Xi gave the order, new items were brought up.

The following items were all green materials; some came from higher-level Other Ghosts, while some came from the Otherworldly Ghost Bosses who initially died at Gu Xi’s hands, but nothing truly caught Gu Xi’s eye.

[You have obtained Ice Crystal (Green) *3]

Seeing the items being delivered, Gu Xi’s excitement from the beginning turned into numbness, and finally, he showed no expression.

Until finally, an undead dragged over an item, making Gu Xi’s eyes widen.

”No, something’s wrong.”

Seeing this item, Gu Xi jumped up and rushed toward the City Gate, even forgetting about the Evil Coffin parked beside him.
