Returning to the city gate, Gu Xi found that the bodies brought back initially had completed the Soul Summoning Skill transformation, and Luna had also organized the troops.

After the last battle and replenishment, Gu Xi’s forces have undergone new changes.

The number of Skeletons given for free by the Undead Calamity Ceremony is still three thousand, but this time the number reaching Level 3 as Skeleton Soldiers has increased to 1372.

It can be said that this troop has now made considerable progress. Even in a melee, they can have a certain impact, unlike before when they could only be used as cannon fodder.

Additionally, due to Gu Xi’s extensive use of Soul Summoning Skill, his Bone-Slaying Camp and two Combat Squads are now fully staffed.

The Bone-Slaying Camp, with new Bosses added and levels improved in battle, is now quite powerful.

The two fully manned Combat Squads will also play a significant role in upcoming battles.

[Bone-Slaying Camp（Level 3, Traits: Attack +7, Defense +3, Life +5, Experience 193/1000): Commanders (2/2) Level 3 Skeleton Boss, Level 1 Skeleton Boss, Members (479/479) Level 5 Skeleton Two-Handed Swordsmen 56, Level 4 Skeleton Two-Handed Swordsmen 67, Level 3 Skeleton Two-Handed Swordsmen 109, below Level 2 Skeleton 247]

[Combat Squad 1（Level 3, Unnamed, Traits: Attack +4, Life +4, Experience 42/1000): Captain (1/1) Level 3 Skeleton Boss, Members (88/44+44) Level 4 Skeleton Soldiers (9), Level 3 Skeleton Soldiers (27), Level 2 Skeletons (16), Level 1 Skeletons (18), Level 0 Skeletons (34)]

[Combat Squad 2（Level 2, Unnamed, Traits: Defense +6, Life +5, Experience 296/500): Captain (1/1) Level 3 Skeleton Boss, Members (53/53) Level 4 Skeleton Soldiers (6), Level 3 Skeleton Soldiers (24), Level 2 Skeletons (23)]

Besides, on the Skeleton Shooter side, since no new reinforcements were received, the number remains at 133.

The number of unassigned ordinary Skeletons is approximately 651, making the total number of Skeleton Soldiers under Gu Xi for the first time exceed a thousand, reaching 1404 in total.

This could be considered a great harvest, reflecting how much Gu Xi has gained from this battle.

Likewise with the Zombies, after Gu Xi’s Soul Summoning Skill reached Level 5, most summoned through it are now Zombies, and Gu Xi just spent all his Mana in one go.

The success and failure rate is quite balanced, plus some were transformed into Skeletons.

This time he harvested a total of 213 Zombies, combined with the Heavy Armor Zombies previously acquired from the academy, now he has a total of 226 Zombies, forming quite a formidable force.

Lastly, with the addition of 28 Ghosts and 15 Stone Golems that barely participated in battles or suffered losses, this basically constitutes Gu Xi’s entire troop.

Besides these two troops, a mixed group of Skeletons, Zombies, and Ghosts stands in front of Gu Xi’s city gate.

This troop has a higher Summoning success rate and a relatively high number of Zombies and Ghosts due to the Undead Calamity Ritual Array’s effects.

The troop consists of 1677 members, with 892 Skeletons and Skeleton Soldiers, 651 Zombies, and 134 Ghosts.

Their levels have also been somewhat raised by the Undead Calamity Ceremony, but their status is still inferior to the favored offspring of the ceremony.

The increase is relatively small. In Gu Xi’s view, they will remain as cannon fodder for quite a long time.

Gu Xi is rather pleased with this situation, considering the current forces. Even if faced with five to six thousand enemies in the next wave, Gu Xi can still directly go forward and annihilate them.

As Gu Xi was inventorying the troops and arranging their positions, the Evil Coffin shrouded in a black aura finally completed its evolution.

The black mist was absorbed into the Evil Coffin, revealing the evolved coffin.

Caught by surprise upon seeing the new Evil Coffin, Gu Xi had intended to evolve it but did not expect it to look like this after evolving.

The visible Evil Coffin is evidently larger in size, its length from end to end,

The wood coffin material has now transformed into a metallic texture, even the coffin lid appears polished to a slick finish. Not just for people, even a fly landing on it might slip.

The formerly affixed talisman on the coffin are gone, instead, its four corners feature thick iron chains tightly locking the coffin.

Even standing in place, Gu Xi can notice something inside the Evil Coffin repeatedly knocking on the lid, seemingly trying to crawl out.

Gu Xi also notices some finer details, such as the black liquid occasionally dripping from the coffin’s four sides, and over time these sides have become somewhat rusty.

Despite the numerous layers of red varnish on the coffin, a glance still reveals its metallic essence.

These varied circumstances spark further curiosity in Gu Xi towards the Evil Coffin; he steps forward to touch it, realizing its now-cool touch signifies it’s no longer the original plain Evil Coffin.

[Evil Coffin (Blue, Mount): Undead Element Player and Hero Mount, moving at a speed of 250km/h per hour, accommodates one rider, temporarily accelerates to 450km/h per hour (limited to 30 seconds), equipped with a storage slot (0/1), three inlay slots (0/3).]

[Note 1: The storage slot can store corpses, holy relics, special weapons, and equipment, etc.]

[Note 2: Inlay slots can embed gems, decorations, and mount additional items, etc.]

[Note 3: Evil Coffin can be enchanted; pasting talismans outside the coffin is not considered embedding.]

Observing the Evil Coffin’s information, Gu Xi’s eyes shine brightly.

This speed is extremely fast, 250km/h per hour, equivalent to the speed of a bullet train.

If fully mobilized, then...

Thinking of this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but glance at the Evil Coffin again, sensing he might fly off during full-speed running.

Imagining that scene makes Gu Xi consider whether he should install a seat belt on the Evil Coffin.

While contemplating such matters, Gu Xi also starts organizing the Evil Coffin.

Gu Xi temporarily has no use for the storage slot, but upon seeing the inlay slots, he recalls the stringed brains received from defeating an Abomination.

Initially, Gu Xi thought about inlaying this string of brains into the Cold Wind Staff.

But didn’t find time, missing the opportunity.

Now, Gu Xi has found a good use for these brains.

Quickly, he stuffed the [Sequenced Skull] into the Evil Coffin.
