”Hey! Gu Xi, my friend, can I take a look at that?”

Seeing Gu Xi take out the skull cap from the side of the Skeleton Warhorse, Du Wushuang’s eyes lit up, and he couldn’t help but ask.

”Why, is this very useful?”

Without giving it much thought, Gu Xi handed over the [Headless Knight Training Manual] to Du Wushuang.

”Of course, you don’t know how valuable this thing is. After reaching Level 5 and activating the talent, players need to consider the advancement to Level 10. The route after for the Death Knights is Level 10 Fear Knight, Level 20 Terror Knight.

But the requirements to promote to Fear Knight are too high; just to mention one, the Warhorse needs to reach Purple Quality, and the three Black Guards at Level 10 would leave everyone pulling their hair out.

Look, I’m almost Level 5, and all I have is this one set of equipment, not even a full set of armor, let alone providing a full set of weapons for my Black Guards.

Such a promotion method is right in front of us, yet it’s out of reach.

This is another advancement route, although it’s not as orthodox as the Fear Knight, it counts as a path for the Death Knight’s advancement. I believe many who wish to reach Level 10 Death Knights would want to get their hands on it.”

As Du Wushuang spoke, he reluctantly handed back the [Headless Knight Training Manual].

”You keep this safely, this [Headless Knight Training Manual] can be used at least five times. If someone wants to buy the reading rights from you, remember to ask for at least three Dragon Blood Crystals or Dragon Steel, don’t sell it cheap.”

”Okay!”

Gu Xi also knew the importance of this item, he didn’t offer Du Wushuang a free copy, but quietly put away the [Headless Knight Training Manual].

At this time, Du Wushuang suddenly thought of something and said quite seriously, ”If you get the chance, you must trade this away, don’t think of keeping it for yourself to form a Death Knight Corps or anything.

Really, if you do that, all the Death Knight players would see you as the enemy.”

Gu Xi understood this point as well; a Death Knight, being one of the player professions, would never become a servant under an Undead Mage, it’s a matter of dignity.

Even the Three Divine Skills couldn’t change this, and Gu Xi wouldn’t be foolish enough to attempt something like that.

”I understand. By the way, is there a place selling this in the Scattered Immortal Garden? If there isn’t, I might have to take it back to the guild to ask around.”

”Yes, there definitely is.” Du Wushuang said quite affirmatively, ”After the battle is over, there will be a small trade fair over at the tavern, where everyone will trade items obtained from the fight.

You can go there and ask.”

While the two were talking, the skeletons that Gu Xi had just summoned had already cleaned up the battlefield.

Gu Xi didn’t find anything that caught his eye again.

Thus, Gu Xi waved his hand, letting Luna drag the Skeleton Warhorse back to Yalidu City.

As for the Death Incarnation, since the battle was not over, Gu Xi didn’t disband it, only allowing it to hover in the sky.

Perhaps due to the suppression of the Death Incarnation, there were occasional sounds of conflict from the surrounding areas, but no enemies appeared on their side.

Gu Xi and Du Wushuang leisurely spent more than an hour like this.

It wasn’t until a gong sounded heavily that Du Wushuang happily took off his helmet, ”It’s over, the fight is over, hahaha, we made a big profit this time!”

With the helmet off, Du Wushuang was happily bouncing around, and Gu Xi then understood why Du Wushuang wasn’t interested in the Headless Knight’s training method.

The full set of armor Du Wushuang wore added up to about 1.7 meters in height, but after taking off the helmet, Gu Xi found that only the top of Du Wushuang’s head was exposed, her face just fit at the neck of the armor.

According to this height, Du Wushuang was likely only about 1.4 meters to nearly 1.5 meters tall, and if she transformed into a Headless Knight, Du Wushuang might indeed have to join the children’s table for drinks.

However, Du Wushuang only dared to take off the helmet, and was not confident enough to take off the entire armor yet.

At most, she would remove some armor plates from the neck area to catch her breath.

At this moment, the sound of galloping hooves came from the southeast.

Several Death Knights in blue armor rode over from that direction.

”Report combat achievements and defense situations for Area Ding Six, Undead Mage can report battle losses, losses of soldiers will be compensated at a 75% rate.”

One of the Death Knights announced loudly upon reaching Gu Xi and the others.

Du Wushuang was already used to such situations and immediately stepped forward to report, ”We encountered two waves of attacks, first wave had two people, one Headless Knight, and one Magic System Alchemist, all enemies were killed.

The second wave had three enemies, killed two, and one escaped.

For losses, Gu Xi, how much did you lose?”

”104 Skeleton Soldiers, 18 Zombies, 11 Ghosts.”

Gu Xi promptly reported the numbers.

This information was given to Gu Xi by Luna when retreating.

Gu Xi had initially thought that this loss would be self-borne, but did not expect that in the Scattered Immortal Garden, it could be compensated proportionally.

Upon hearing the numbers from Gu Xi, a few Death Knights exchanged glances.

”So little?”

Gu Xi blinked, not understanding what was meant by this.

”Is there a problem?”

”No, your losses are quite small indeed. I just came from other places, and the losses there were several hundred people; how come you lost so little, given you’ve gone through two waves of battle.”

Upon hearing this from a Death Knight, Gu Xi understood and pointed towards the Death Incarnation still circling in the air.

”With that around, my losses wouldn’t be substantial. If it weren’t for locking horns with the Crow Soldiers, the loss wouldn’t even have hit three digits.”

The Death Knight looked up, then noticed the Black Bone Dragon within the black mist in the sky.

”Is that... Death Incarnation? The Three Divine Skills of the Undead Mage?”

”Sharp eyes.”

Gu Xi smiled proudly.

”Understood, I’ll record it for you, as your losses are small, we won’t follow the 75% compensation rate, we’ll do a full compensation instead. Here’s the Recruitment Order, you can recruit the corresponding number of troops in the Scattered Immortal Garden’s training camp.

Of course, they are only at that level, weapons and equipment still rely on you to figure out.

Xiaoliu, how about your side?”

”Already checked, enemy numbers matched what they reported, no issues with achievements.” Another Death Knight promptly responded.

”Then record it, it’s done, here’s your achievement record, and later you can exchange for battle rewards at the barracks.”
