Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 107: Chapter 105: Harvest

The Bone-Slaying Camp has 103 soldiers left, and the Skeleton Shooters have 104 soldiers left. The two combat squads have 23 and 21 soldiers remaining, respectively.

The Zombies and Ghosts did not participate in the main battle, so their numbers haven’t changed much.

There are still 14 Zombies and 10 Ghosts.

After checking the situation of his troops, Gu Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief.

This time, he didn’t lose much; instead, because they were involved in the battle, level 4 Skeleton Soldiers have started to appear in the Bone-Slaying Camp.

This is an affirmation of this battle.

Looking at the data before him, a satisfied smile appeared on Gu Xi’s face.

After organizing his troops, Gu Xi waved his hand, ”Clean up the battlefield, send all the armor and weapons to Yalidu City, without leaving a single piece.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, the Skeleton Soldiers quickly took action, picking up and carrying, transporting all the armor and items from the Ghost Soldiers into the City Gate.

[Broken Ghost Soldier’s Copper Armor (Gray): Armor used by Ghost Soldiers, containing heavy Yin Qi, can only be used by the Undead. Equipping it increases Undead Soldier Defense by 1, or it can be melted into special metals.]

[Broken Ghost Soldier’s Broadsword (Gray): A broadsword used by Ghost Soldiers, already broken and unusable, can be melted into special metals.]

[Ghost Soldier’s Copper Armor (White): A full set of armor used by Ghost Soldiers, with heavy Yin Qi and earthy smell, can only be used by the Undead. Equipping it increases Undead Soldier Defense by 3.]

[Ghost Soldier’s Broadsword (White): A broadsword used by Ghost Soldiers, with heavy Yin Qi and a bloody smell, can only be used by the Undead. Equipping it increases Undead Soldier Attack by 3.]

While the Undead Corps were cleaning the battlefield, Gu Xi was not idle either.

He personally dealt with the corpses of the Otherworldly Ghost Boss and the One-Eyed Sewn-together Corpse.

The One-Eyed Sewn-together Corpse was quite large, and after feeling around the corpse for a while, Gu Xi pulled out a head-sized silver button from its chest area.

[You have picked up an Ice Power Device (Green)]

[Ice Power Device (Green): A special device powered by coldness, can serve as a power source or be used as a crafting material to add ice magic effects to weapons or equipment.]

With such a discovery, Gu Xi was naturally pleased and immediately started searching the massive corpse.

Subsequent findings indeed rewarded Gu Xi with some better items.

[Holy Oil Sewing Thread (Green): Sewing thread soaked in holy oil, the best material for making sewn corpses, preventing rejection reactions in sewn bodies.]

[Steel Giant Skeleton*4 (Green): Giant bones enhanced with steel, can be used in City Gates, City Walls, Arrow Towers, and other structures to enhance their defensive power.]

[Demon Blood Evil Hide (Green): Skin from a Demon, with strong magic resistance and fire resistance attributes, the best material for making leather armor.]

[Rotten Viscera (Green): Viscera that’s already rotten, but because it originally contained strong power, it hasn’t completely lost its effect, can be used as material for making giant Undead.]

With these items sorted out, Gu Xi’s eyes were shining bright.

Just as Gu Xi was about to have these items transported back to Yalidu City, the Evil Coffin suddenly jumped in front of Gu Xi.

Wrapped in black mist, the Evil Coffin was bouncing up and down, seeming to explain something to Gu Xi.

Seeing the Evil Coffin like this, Gu Xi was taken aback.

”Do you want these things?”

Upon hearing this, the Evil Coffin quieted down, and Gu Xi realized he guessed correctly.

”Take your pick, take whatever you want.”

Gu Xi recognized the value of the Evil Coffin, and although riding on it wasn’t comfortable, its mobility was undeniably efficient.

With the Evil Coffin as transportation, Gu Xi’s journey had been quite smooth, and it was also the Evil Coffin that had detected the enemy early, preventing them from falling into an ambush.

Whether merit or effort, the Evil Coffin deserved recognition.

So, Gu Xi generously allowed the Evil Coffin to choose for itself.

Unhesitant, the Evil Coffin lunged towards the ”Rotten Viscera”. As it arrived, its nailed-down lid popped open slightly, releasing a massive amount of black mist that dragged the ”Rotten Viscera” inside the coffin.

Gu Xi then noticed blood beginning to drip from the edge of the Evil Coffin.

At the same time, the flying height of the Evil Coffin noticeably increased; previously, it floated a meter off the ground, but now it could float about one and a half meters high.

[Evil Coffin (Green, Mount): A mount for Undead Element players and heroes, moves at a speed of 110 kilometers per hour, capable of carrying one person.]

Observing the new attributes, Gu Xi’s eyes brightened.

Not bad at all; the Evil Coffin’s quality elevated by a notch just from taking this small item, and most importantly, its speed increased.

This was paramount for Gu Xi.

With mobility, there was much Gu Xi could achieve.

So he promptly asked, ”Is there anything else you’re interested in?”

However, by this time, the Evil Coffin had gained enough and made no further demands of Gu Xi.

After asking twice, Gu Xi knew the Evil Coffin truly wanted nothing else, so he instructed the Skeleton Soldiers to drag the remaining items into Yalidu City.

Regarding the arrangement of these items, Gu Xi planned to visit Yalidu City later when he had time and discuss it with Luna.

After dealing with the One-Eyed Sewn-together Corpse, Gu Xi moved to Big Beard’s corpse.

The Big Beard’s corpse was mostly intact, only missing the left arm. Gu Xi touched the corpse and immediately took off the white baboon hide.

Just like the last encounter with an Otherworldly Ghost Boss, this white baboon hide was a special cloak used to signify identity. After putting away the white baboon hide, Gu Xi couldn’t help sighing.

Every Otherworldly Ghost Boss had such identification, so his credit for providing information was gone.

However, it’s just as well; two white baboon hides can prove that Gu Xi had slain two Otherworldly Ghost Bosses, which still counts as battle achievements.

Besides the white baboon hide, Gu Xi found two more items on Big Beard.

One was quite intriguing; it was a silver buckle used for tying a beard. Upon retrieving it, Gu Xi was surprised Big Beard still cared about grooming at this time?

But the quality of this buckle was impressive, marking the first time since his employment that Gu Xi encountered an item of purple quality.
