Chapter 1545: Spirit God and Milinda Ardagan

”Where is she?”

”Where are the rest?”

The supreme devil became frantic when he didn’t find Josephine at their rendezvous point. In fact, there wasn’t a single person from the supreme devil organization here.

”This...” Alexander gasped. Although he didn’t want to consider that possibility, they might have fallen into the trap.

”...” The land demon king fell silent. He realized what was going on. ”It looks like we are not the targets this time. Their real target is Josephine...”

They knew how valuable Josephine was. Once they lost her, a lot of their plans simply vanished.

And the culprit was obvious.

”So, that’s how it is...” Alexander sucked a cold breath. ”Noel Ardagan led his army as a distraction. The real attacker this time was the Demon Banner Army. They made us believe that they were trying to kill us, when in fact, he just wanted to separate us from Josephine.

”He knew that trying to kill us here was practically impossible. His condition was not at its peak, and he might have even considered the possibility of the sky demon king appearing on the battlefield.

”Hence, he immediately shifted his focus to Josephine. To eliminate all wild variables that Josephine could make... In other words, he wants the massive invasion to be a head-on fight.”

They had been fooled. They had just lost to Noel one more time, and this time, the loss was much more enormous than anything they had experienced so far.

Losing Josephine was more painful than losing ten ancient demons. After all, she could easily teleport ten ancient demons to their sides and even sneak them into the kingdoms.

So, without her, they had to gather ancient demons in a much more traditional way, which would require quite a long time. And that time was enough for Noel to recover to his peak.

On the other hand, fighting them right away would be foolish. Without the current force, they were not strong enough to face them. After all, Noel could still bring out more allies.

The land demon king was frustrated. He never thought that Noel would fool them once again. ”Damn it!”

The sky demon king crossed his arms. ”It looks like the current heir of the Ardagan family is not as foolish as his ancestor.”

At that time, they managed to trick Alexander Ardagan into coming out of his territory by attacking the beast kingdom.

In this era, the beast kingdom had developed quite big. With many spirit transcendence experts among them, it was clear that the beast kingdom could sustain itself. No, they might even send reinforcements to Noel.

And with Noel in charge, he could both maneuver the troops and fight the demons.

The sky demon king turned to the land demon king. ”Rather than letting out your frustration, it is best to move on to the next step. It is clear that Noel Ardagan is now at the same level as his ancestor.

”More importantly, he is actually younger than him. It shows his potential. If we allow him to continue, a second Milinda might come.”

”Milinda?” Alexander was confused and tilted his head to the elder, who shook his head.

Even the supreme devil didn’t know about this name. Only the demon kings knew about her existence.

The land demon king gritted his teeth. ”She was a woman who guarded this world. She could be said to be the hero of the world, who protected this world from the shadow.

”However, she was also the one who chose to let go of that protection and opened the portal for all the demons.”

”!!!” They were all shocked. No one had ever heard of her existence.

The land demon king suddenly remembered what happened when Noel broke through to the spirit king stage. At that time, there was an unknown power that helped him merge his flame. ”Don’t tell me...”

”What?” The sky demon king frowned.

”That Milinda was the one who helped Noel Ardagan become a spirit king! I knew it. There was an unknown power that helped him become a spirit king!”

”!!!” The sky demon king widened his eyes. ”Don’t tell me... Noel Ardagan has been set to be her heir?”

”What is going on? What is her relationship to Noel Ardagan?” The supreme devil asked.

Instead of the land demon king, it was the sky demon king who answered his question. ”Milinda Ardagan, the first wielder of Ardagan. She could be said to be the true ancestor of the Ardagan family.

”Alexander Ardagan was her grandson. Compared to Milinda, Alexander Ardagan was like a baby.

”After all, Milinda Ardagan was the sister of the Spirit God.”

”What?” They were dumbstruck. The sister of the Spirit God?

”That’s right. This world was the place where the Spirit God was born after all.”

”!!!”

It was no wonder that the demons actually aimed for this world. It turned out they wanted to destroy the Spirit God’s hometown.

And Milinda Ardagan had been protecting it from the shadow until she didn’t.

”Why did Milinda Ardagan stop protecting this world in the first place?”

The sky demon king squinted his eyes. ”Because this world is dying. It will destroy itself if it’s allowed to continue.

”With just a single reckless decision, the world can be destroyed.”

”The previous civilization!” The supreme devil almost forgot about it. The supreme devil was also a person who once experienced the previous civilization.

It had been so long that he had forgotten about it, but now that the sky demon king mentioned it, it was understandable why Milinda chose to destroy it.

No, it was more accurate that she used the demons to destroy it. At the same time, the Spirit God was interfering with the destruction, which formed the spirit links.

In other words, this might be the plan of the Spirit God. He gave humans the power of a spirit so that when the demons destroyed it and prevented the world’s destruction, the remaining humans could retake their former land and rebuild the civilization.

He couldn’t help but think how crazy the Spirit God was. On the one hand, it could be said that the Spirit God was the one killing so many humans. On the other hand, the Spirit God could be said to have saved humans from extinction.
