Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 797: Chapter 321: The Second Ministers’ Conference

Up until the second Six-part meeting, Gao Gong was in the Earth Core, undergoing high-intensity training in a high-temperature, high-pressure environment.

Every time Gao Gong emerged from the Earth Core, his aura would become more solidified, and the ’Blackthorn Throne’ on his body would shine even brighter.

Furthermore, Biological Energy and Mechanical Energy would increase due to the refining of Radiation Beast Bloodline.

Each Fire Refining session could increase Mechanical Energy/Biological Energy by 1000 points.

During these ten days, without pause, Gao Gong entered the core at least 30 times, the most dangerous instance being entering the Inner Earth Core.

The Outer Core was liquid, similar to magma.

The Inner Earth Core was solid, a highly compressed metal sphere.

That time was extremely perilous.

Because the super metal ball suddenly erupted with a powerful gravitational force, compressive pressure of 3 million times increased abruptly to 10 million times of magnetic force, nearly pulling Gao Gong completely in.

If he had truly gone in, there was little chance of coming back.

Through countless hazardous training sessions, Gao Gong’s Biological Energy/Mechanical Energy progressed significantly.

Biological Energy: 118110→158110

Mechanical Energy: 100000→140000

Combined, they increased by nearly a hundred thousand!

Most importantly, during that moment deep within the Inner Core, Gao Gong’s potential exploded, and one of the seventeen S-Level radiation patterns constituting the ’Black Forbidden Throne’ on his surface melted.

This indicated that the bloodline of an S-Level Beast King had been completely refined by him.

This S-Level Beast King was called Density Vajra, a super-evolution form of a giant mechanical gorilla Gao Gong encountered a long time ago.

Named ’Density Vajra’ due to its metallic body evolving into high-strength alloy, impervious even to energy cannon blasts.

After completely absorbing the bloodline of ’Density Vajra,’ Gao Gong’s ’Tri-Metallic Inner Skeleton’ transformed, turning from silver to a dull, golden hue—not the flashy gold, but the gray-encompassing indomitable sheen of monastery monks.

Armored and sharp, breaking through all obstacles.

Its tier advanced from Tier 3-Excellent to Tier 3: Rare.

The original attributes were as follows――

Tri-Metallic Inner Skeleton (Memory Metal Cells 26%, Titanium Alloy Content 11%, Metal Heart Content 63%) (Tier 3-Excellent): A mechanical shell simulated from metal of a Level 3 Civilization, capable of restoring any damage through the reshaping of Memory Metal, recovery speed within three seconds for losses below 50%, eight seconds for over 50% damage, with a 30-hour limit: 500%.

Current attributes are as follows――

Vajra Alloy Skeleton (Tier 3: Rare): A mechanical shell made from ultra-bio-metal, innate with extraordinary hardness, immune to close combat damage below 30,000, and immune to ranged damage below 50,000.

Additional State 1 (Memory Metal): Recovery speed of two seconds for losses below 50%, five seconds for over 50% damage, with a 30-hour limit: 800%

Additional State 2 (Metal Heart): The mercy of Buddha, alleviates all hardships, ’Pudu’ mechanical life and Mechanical Body through viral metal transformation.

Additional State 3 (Great King Kong Ape): Transform into a pure metal life form, transcending all physical entities.

Indeed, the gamble was worth it.

Without taking risks, how could one awaken the traits of the three metals, especially the ’Metal Heart Virus,’ its viral power couldn’t be unleashed in the Tri-Metallic Inner Skeleton mode, but now it did.

This Viral Transformation, according to Gao Gong’s speculation, poses no issues for same-tier transformation, even with higher-tier, there is certain probability for completion.

However, after the Inner Skeleton upgrade, Gao Gong encountered a bottleneck in his training, the remaining 16 S-Level bloodlines seemed to develop self-awareness, joining forces to resist this refining.

As the strongest bloodline birthed by this Radiation Planet naturally surpasses all else, were it not for Gao Gong’s high-level ’Fusion Route,’ control over them would be impossible.

And now, Gao Gong attempted to refine them, which undoubtedly provoked their instinctual resistance.

Based on Gao Gong’s conjecture, once all these S-Level bloodlines are thoroughly refined, the Beast God Bloodline might advance further, akin to that grand tree.

SSS-Level.

It is also known as ’Cosmic Life’!

Gao Gong did not continue forcibly refining, having refined 5 million Radiation Beast Bloodlines along with the unexpected pleasure of an S-Level bloodline was enough.

Excessive refining leads to the same outcome as excessive haste, likely resulting in annihilation.

A complete refinement within Tier 3 is already commendable.

Cosmic Life, ah! An existence coveted even by Advanced Civilizations.

Countless alien beauties eager to breed.

Imagining a future where he’s captured by an Advanced Civilization, locked away for breeding, and thus, he genuinely... rejects it!

...

At this opportune moment, as Gao Gong halted his training, the second Six-part meeting was initiated online.

Offline bodies of Six Ministries’ ministers were protected by the core of the Six Ministries.

And the online network conference node is encrypted by the collaboration of six ’supercomputer centers’, ensuring that even the Mother City cannot spy on it.

Gao Gong’s virtual projection appeared in a place quite similar to ’Inspector Island’.

However, there were no projection planets or data fog, only six tall Chairs of the Watcher remained, surrounded by darkness.

Gao Gong was the last to arrive.

With a quick glance, he noticed two unfamiliar faces occupying the positions of the Humanity Experiment Department and the Machine Consciousness Department.

The Minister of Human Affairs from the Humanity Experiment Department is gone; in their place, sitting on the tall chair, was a boy wearing a Joker mask, with his elbow resting on the armrest, supporting his head with the back of his hand, looking quite lazy.

The Machine Prophet had also transformed from an old black-skinned woman into a black-skinned girl with dreadlocks. The girl was holding a cat, the same model as the previous Machine Prophet’s, and was curiously staring at him.

”You’re here,” Misty from the Electronic Network Department greeted him.

Gao Gong nodded and sat on the Minister’s Chair that belonged to him. He then opened Divine Knowledge, looked at ’Guu Yitong’, and his pupils shrank.

The ’Guu Yitong’ before his eyes disappeared, replaced by a transparent worm as thick as a pillar, coiling slowly around the chair. Only the worm’s head was masked with the face of the Minister of the Memory Supervision Department.

’How did this guy end up like this!’

Even Gao Gong was shocked; this state indicated that he had already been hollowed out by a Memory Worm.

Seeing Gao Gong looking over, ’Guu Yitong’ forced a bitter smile, seemingly aware of his current situation.

”Since everyone is here, let’s begin,” the Minister of the Shell Mobile Division said in a deep voice.

Soon, a data figure went online in this encrypted space, hands behind her back, wearing the iconic tight combat suit. Yagami Suuji had a heavy expression and wasted no time before speaking.

”According to my investigation, scattered incidents of memory loss of control have appeared in various Mechanical Cities, specifically exhibiting false memories, memory loss, memory synchronization, memory transplantation, and memory rebooting.”

”Case one, Bionic A suddenly had a ’wife memory’ implanted in its neural chip. From falling in love, to getting married, every detail could be restored. Thus, he found the ’wife’, only to discover that she was already married, and her husband was being treated in a hospital for memory loss.”

”Case two, a company mid-level employee B was caught for ’financial fraud’ and ’insider trading’. However, the company’s internal inspection personnel could not find conclusive evidence of cheating. After transferring the case to the Shell Mobile Division, our inspection revealed that his memory was synchronized with a financial officer’s, allowing him to access all the officer’s work memories, thus generating criminal intent.”

”Case three, Prosthetic Transformer C was recommended by a friend to undergo an operation from an underground Prosthetic Doctor, implanting a mechanical arm named ’Silver Hand’. However, during use, he repeatedly found the mechanical arm acting on its own and combat memories that didn’t belong to him suddenly appeared in his mind. The owner of these combat memories was a world mercenary named ’Johnny’, the previous owner of the ’Silver Hand’.”

”Case four, an ordinary employee D experienced complete memory loss during work, falling into a coma. Upon waking, all his memories had been replaced with those of a high-ranking executive E from a rival company, yet the rival executive continued working normally at the company.”

”Case five...”

Yagami Suuji reported more than a dozen cases in one go, each one unique, ranging from bionic men to natural persons, and from lower-level to high-level positions.

”Moreover, these cases are increasing at a rate of thousands. Once they reach a critical point, they could cause a large-scale memory disaster!”

Yagami Suuji made a very serious summary.

”Could it be a new type of human brain virus?”

”According to the detection from the experts of the Six Ministries, no trace of a virus has been found.”

”A hacker?”

”There are still no traces in this regard.”

”Could it be a problem in some large data storage centers, like Arasaka Tower, or an underground experiment from a Super Corporation?”

The ministers of the Six Ministries voiced questions. Each one was not just a question but also represented a potential direction for the Inspector Department to conduct large-scale investigations.

Nearly an hour passed.

”Alright, you may now log off.”

Yagami Suuji’s gaze swept the room, finally resting on Gao Gong for a moment before her figure vanished into the darkness.

Three seconds later, another member from the joint group appeared, a Super Agent J from the Memory Supervision Department, wearing sunglasses and exuding a similar aura to Yagami Suuji.

In Gao Gong’s senses, he felt the data fluctuation of a ’Cyber Killer’ from the other person, specifically the top-level Cloud Wing Assassin.

He curiously opened the other’s profile.

Memory Supervision Department - Former Alien Life Observation Agency - Agent Number 1002.

’You’re actually from the Black-clothed People Team?’

Gao Gong had heard of this agency, not only responsible for observing aliens but also for monitoring the Cloud Nobility’s interactions with aliens.

Alien Life Observation Agency, this is also one of the few agencies that can directly eliminate Cloud Nobility without upper-level approval.

He reported on another matter.

In the radiation biological areas across 22 planetary zones, especially large Radiation Beasts, have begun to exhibit varying degrees of atavistic phenomena, specifically growing organs only found in Ancient Creatures, mutating life magnet fields, and large-scale oxygen intake.

”We have dissected many Radiation Beasts and discovered that the cause of this atavism is changes in their genetic structure.”

”What does this signify? Evolving into Ancient Creatures yet lacking the hyper-oxygen environment of Ancient Times, replaced with planet-wide radiation will likely lead to massive biological extinction, are you suggesting we start a rare animal protection?” the newly appointed Minister Clown mocked.

”But what if they, in turn, alter the environment?” Super Agent J calmly questioned.

”What do you mean?”
