Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 751: Chapter 275: Civilization Trait - Imperial Guard

The shipgirl is essentially a ’Artificial Intelligence’.

Not only is it carried by a ’Starship’, it is also centered on the ’Starship’, radiating through all industrial systems.

Director Du’s system panel has also changed.

Template: Daughter of Machines, Heart of Creation, Mechanical Genius

Domain: Double-speed Production, Super Body Seal

”Two, two domains?!”

Gao Gong gasped, looking at Director Du with a different expression, High-Grade Shipgirl!!

Although all shipgirls are Tier 3 Species, the quality among shipgirls varies. Some ordinary shipgirls have mediocre domains and consume resources voraciously, excelling in nothing but eating.

However, some High-Grade Shipgirls provide tremendous support to their alliances with their domains, but such shipgirls are very rare, less than one in ten.

Above High-Grade Shipgirls, there exists another kind of shipgirl, possessing not just one ’Top-Grade Domain’, but more.

Undoubtedly, Du Zhaodi belongs to this class of High-Grade Shipgirls, with not just two domains, but both being Top-Grade Domains.

Double-speed Production: Under the shipgirl’s super pipeline control, all mechanics of the alliance have a production efficiency of +200%.

Super Body Seal: For large military mechanics like Mechanical Fortress, Military Base, and Sky Carrier, the shipgirl can greatly seal their performance.

Three templates, two domains; even in a previous life, Gao Gong had never encountered such a High-Grade Shipgirl.

Also, why is Director Du’s personality so high, in four digits?

Personality: 1480

Note: Not only tirelessly supporting a large family, but also caring for a clingy pretty boy—such is the hard life of an excellent woman.

”...”

The system loves to tease.

However, Gao Gong was quite dissatisfied, he had also put in considerable effort, suffice it to say his legs were still weak these past few days.

After becoming a shipgirl, Director Du’s attributes all saw significant growth, particularly physical strength, which increased more than tenfold.

”Director Du, you really worked hard.”

Du Zhaodi was taken aback by Gao Gong’s unexpected words, then softly smiled, ”It’s all for the sake of our enterprise.”

”Hmm,” Gao Gong nodded seriously, ”You serve our enterprise, and I serve you.”

Before Du Zhaodi could react, Gao Gong pulled her into his arms and kissed her passionately. Her pupils widened briefly before closing comfortably, letting the handsome man serve her body.

This was precisely what she worked so hard for.

...

The next day, Gao Gong awoke looking haggard, seeing Du Zhaodi still sound asleep with a faint blush, he couldn’t help but tenderly tuck her in.

Ever since the Corporate War began, she probably hadn’t slept.

He couldn’t help but open the panel again, looking at Director Du’s attributes, feeling like he was drooling once more.

A large mecha takes 1 hour/unit. On Mechanical Split Star, a day has 30 hours, that’s 30 units a day, nearly ten thousand a year. Gao Gong finally understood where his mecha army came from.

Moreover, with the ’Double-speed Production’ domain, the production efficiency of these large mechas was doubled.

Terrifying!

A single large mecha has mechanical energy reaching a million, comparable to a normal A-level Radiation Beast. If over ten thousand mechas attacked him, unless he activated ’Super Fusion Mode’, he couldn’t withstand it.

Against a hundred thousand large mechas, even with ’Super Transformation’, he would likely meet his end, such is the strength of an Advanced Camp.

After the Corporate War, the alliance points reached 600,000. At this production efficiency, it won’t take a year to break through a million, reaching Tier 3.

Gao Gong asked the onboard intelligence to make him a cup of kidney-strengthening tea. Meanwhile, in Director Du’s office, the buttons on the holographic projection kept lighting up, indicating a vast amount of work to be done.

”Let’s allow Director Du to rest for a day.”

Gao Gong opened the holographic projection, and high-level projections appeared one after another, each reacting as if seeing a ghost upon seeing Gao Gong.

Various matters were numerous and tedious, yet Director Du handled them every day; being a president is no easy task.

Just two things piqued Gao Gong’s interest, one being Professor Han.

He had achieved preliminary results in his work at the Research Association, creating an ethical equipment piece.

Name: Killing Prohibition Bracelet

Category: Alliance Equipment

Quality: Tier 1 Fine

Weight: 1.4kg

Basic Attributes: None

Additional Attributes: Killing tendency -30%, Beastification probability -20%, Additional State: Calm and Clear Water

Calm and Clear Water: Wearing for 8 hours every day puts the human spirit into a shallow stable mode, in which there is a certain probability of increasing perception.

Note: The blade lies above the word ’lust’, indicating that abstaining from killing is as difficult as abstaining from lust, but fortunately, you have become aware of this issue.

”Combine this ’Killing Prohibition Bracelet’ with the Virtual Helmet, I want to ensure all hunters are equipped with this gadget.”

For players, of course, the higher the equipment level, the better.

But for the alliance, it has to ensure the entire ’equipment’ can be produced quickly.

And Tier 1 equipment happens to be within the mass production range of Du Gao Technology.

”Also, continue to develop this ethical equipment, I’ll send you the biomechanical technology materials.”

Professor Han nodded and logged off.

Soon, Gao Gong’s ’projection’ appeared once again in the ’Mechanical Weapon Research Hall’, participating in a technical analysis meeting on Mechanical Hunters.

The surprise was as usual, and after the initial surprise, everyone quickly got to the main topic.

”With mecha technology advancing, the position of Mechanical Hunters becomes increasingly awkward,” old acquaintance Dr. Rong spoke first.

Originally, a Level 10 Mechanical Hunter and Biological Hunter were nearly on par in strength, but at Level 20, Biological Hunters, having fused different biological cells, began a significant attribute enhancement, while Level 20 Mechanical Hunters weren’t left too far behind due to equipping the ’Heavy Armor Exoskeleton,’ a mechanical route that adds several tons of power along with custom hunter weapons, still capable of hunting B-level Radiation Beasts.

However, this situation changes again after Level 30.

First, after Carbon Fusion, the attributes of Biological Hunters skyrocketed again, completely surpassing Mechanical Hunters.

Second, the maturity of mecha technology, especially Unmanned Mechas, allows some tasks originally doable only by Mechanical Hunters to be entirely managed by machines.

According to the report from the mecha department, they are already testing hunting A-level Radiation Beasts using Pioneers equipped with the latest AT Force Field.

The ability to install AT Force Field technology onto Pioneer Mechas is due to the help of biomechanical technology, which lowers the usage threshold of this gadget.

One expert also played this segment of footage.

In the footage, three Pioneer Mechas simultaneously deploy the AT Force Field, firmly blocking the Beast Tide created by an A-level Radiation Beast, and then, the mecha team plunges into the divided Energy Tide, mercilessly slaughtering the Radiation Beast.

So it is with A-level Radiation Beasts, ordinary Radiation Beasts can’t hold them off either.

Moreover, remember that the Pioneer Mecha is only A-level, above it is the S-Level Biomechanical Armor!

”With the increasing power of Biological Hunters and Unmanned Mechas, many newcomers aren’t willing to pursue the Mechanical Hunter route at all, which is worrying,”

An old Mechanical Hunter expressed concern.

Currently, Du Gao Technology’s ’hunter population’ is mainly composed of two parts: one part is indigenous civilians within the alliance, such as graduates from certain hunter schools, the other part is ’Native Hunters’ attracted globally.

But now, these newcomers prefer to follow the Biological Hunter route, if not, piloting mechas isn’t bad either.

As for Mechanical Hunters, even dogs won’t bother.

The main reason is the indistinction between Mechanical Hunters and Mechanical Transformers, with their strength lacking essential improvement.

Now, these mechanical experts are discussing how to continue the ’Mechanical Hunter’ profession, or else this alliance specialty will become an alliance legacy in a few years.

Someone proposed broadening ’Construction Technology,’ combining it with Mechanical Hunters.

But this quickly met with opposition from another colleague, arguing ’Constructs’ are too dangerous, not something ordinary people can withstand, easily falling into madness, only a minority of elites can resist this temptation.

Others suggested strengthening cooperation with major military groups to develop higher-performance prosthetic bodies.

This gained most people’s approval, yet there were whispers suggesting it would be better to directly achieve 100% Mechanical Transformation, thoroughly pursuing the Mechanical Transformer route, it’s fortunate Du Gao Technology can nurture a batch of Corporate Knights.

The discussion was intense, but none of the ideas was particularly effective.

Gao Gong was also pondering.

In civilization, the emergence of a technology line inevitably competes for resources of another line, as resources are finite.

The mecha technology brought out by Gao Gong will inevitably compress the ’Mechanical Hunter’ also belonging to the mechanical route.

Gao Gong naturally won’t abandon ’Mechanical Hunters,’ after all, the fusion route requires both mechanical and biological technology to be sufficiently developed.

Must find a way to enhance the combat power of ’Mechanical Hunters’, and as for how to enhance—

Gao Gong opened the Alliance Panel and switched to ’Transformer Civilization.’

Transformer Civilization: This civilization pursues mechanical power, in the process abandoning the legacy of biological species, choosing true strength, others may disdain their abandonment of tradition, but they believe abandoning the past brings new life.

[Knowledge fusion under Transformer Civilization, experience consumption -50%]

[Professional knowledge chain fusion under Transformer Civilization, experience consumption -30%]

This is actually a very decent combat civilization, at least in terms of saving experience, it’s quite formidable.

Civilization: Transformer Civilization

Civilization Knowledge: Not activated

Civilization Traits: Not activated

Civilization Architecture: None

Professional Knowledge Chain: ’Mechanical Life’ (illuminated), ’Cloning Technology’ (illuminated), ’Bionic Technology’, ’Reproduction Technology’ (illuminated), ’Biotechnology’, ’Prosthetic Technology’ (illuminated)

Gao Gong continued to browse.

[This civilization is one of the Half-Mechanical Civilizations]

Half-Mechanical Civilization: Machine society, recognizes transformation, lowers the chance of mechanical revolution to some extent, coexistence of robots and Modified Humans, no racial prejudice, but lifeforms must undergo mechanical transformation; to become advanced citizens, deep transformation is necessary, strong overlord capability, mainstream ideology pursues personal martial strength, fierce competition, with a tendency towards external expansion.

[Civilization Panel activated, gather four professional knowledge chains to activate ’Civilization Traits’]

[Civilization Panel activated, gather all professional knowledge to activate ’Civilization Core’]

’Civilization Traits’?

Gao Gong almost forgot about this thing.

He pulled in ’Mechanical Life’, ’Cloning Technology’, ’Reproduction Technology’, ’Prosthetic Technology’.

’Activate ’Civilization Traits’?’?

’Activate.’

’You obtained the civilization trait ’Emperor’s Imperial Guard’’
