Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 788: Chapter 312: Overlord Body

In the tens of thousands of meters high in the sky, Xiao Yu and the Doomsday Black Emperor descended from above, two mechanical bodies of different sizes, with the same dark glare in their eyes. Behind the two were ship-slaying swords of the same style, one small and one large. Xiao Yu’s was nearly three meters long, while the Doomsday Black Emperor’s ship-slaying sword was close to thirty meters. Both were Martial God Armors, generously gifted by the Holy Brain Group.

One consciousness controlled two mechanical bodies, yet it faced not a single obstacle. Ancient Top technology allowed the Doomsday Black Emperor to become Xiao Yu, and Xiao Yu to become the Doomsday Black Emperor.

In fact, if the Ancient Empire had developed normally, it wouldn’t necessarily have evolved into a Mecha Civilization. Not every civilization with large mechanical bodies inevitably evolves into a Mecha Civilization, especially those Mechanical Civilizations of the Martial Arts Faction.

Because there is a soft limit to piloting mechas, and that limit is the mecha’s performance. To break through this limit doesn’t belong to the Mecha Civilization but is a matter for another kind of Mechanical Civilization.

This civilization is called the ’Multi-Body Control Civilization,’ abbreviated as ’Micro-Operation Civilization.’ The technical direction of this civilization would push mechanical body control to an extremely terrifying realm, achieving a state where human and machine are one, human is the machine, and the machine is human, with heavy machinery appearing to lack an edge, and great brilliance appearing clumsy. Grass, trees, bamboo, and stones can all become machines, akin to the ’Martial Arts Master’ level in Mechanical Civilization.

That’s exactly the state Xiao Yu is in now.

As soon as one man and one machine landed, there was an explosive sound. Countless cracks spread around from beneath them, with golden radiance flashing within, and the shockwave directly hit the altar tens of kilometers away, causing all machines outside the altar to explode.

Being a stubborn-headed girl, she never dabbles in conspiracy and machinations; she goes for direct confrontation and head-chopping.

Xiao Yu stood at the center of the altar, his face turned pitted at an unknown time, with countless maggots visible to the naked eye crawling within. One eyeball had even turned into the head of a maggot, writhing in the eye socket.

Surrounding him were numerous corpses, each appearing to be Biological Mutants with various types of mutated organs, crawled over by maggots. These maggots weren’t Memory Worms, but they emitted a peculiar spiritual wave on their surface.

Xiao Yu said nothing, and the Sage beside him also remained silent.

However, two members of the Xiao Family on the altar’s periphery expressionlessly lifted their hoods. The Bio-Fusion Armor directly covered their bodies, growing from two meters tall to three meters tall instantly. On the Bio-Fusion Armor surface, cracks opened up, squeezing out energy nozzles, numbering in the hundreds with a rough count.

The Bio-Fusion Armor has a straightforward metric for combat power, which is counting the ’number of nozzles.’

If the number of energy nozzles reaches 40, it’s about a Tier 1 Peak, while if it’s 100, that’s the standard for Level 50~60, belonging to the forefront of the Xiao family’s combat force.

”Don’t relax, give it your all,” Xiao Yu suddenly said.

Xiao Nian and Xiao Heitong exchanged glances, puzzled yet loyally executed the order.

Muscles began to wriggle, and from the skin resembling a biological body, pus seeped out, squeezing out countless maggots from head to foot, numbering over a hundred, emanating an indescribable stench.

The next moment, in the blood-holes from which the maggots emerged, countless yellowing eyeballs appeared, doubling the number of nozzles.

Their aura instantly became substantive, with their body size ballooning from over 3 meters to over 10 meters, their aura infinitely nearing the Martial God level.

However, Xiao Yu’s attention was not on these two. Even when they appeared before her at terrifying speed, there wasn’t a hint of defensive measure.

But suddenly, Xiao Nian and Xiao Heitong’s pupils widened, and white marks appeared, tearing through space at their waists. In the next instant, their bodies exploded into thousands of pieces.

”Fighting needs to be fair.”

A voice was conveyed to everyone’s ears, attributed to a mysterious individual.

Gao Gong withdrew his palms, stating only that he wouldn’t partake in battles between Destruction Forms, but never said he wouldn’t clear out the riffraff.

He was here for three things: fairness, fairness, and damn it, fairness!

Xiao Yu gazed at the approaching golden mass, finally lifting his head slightly, signaling to the Sage beside him, saying nothing but his attitude was clear—stall as long as possible!

The Sage let out a wry smile.

The next moment, the Omen Machine and Doomsday Black Emperor, Xiao Yu and Xiao Yu, collided completely, with terrifying explosion sounds seemingly having no intention of ceasing once they began.

”To think I could stop him is to overestimate me too much.”

The Sage mumbled, staring at the black dots in the sky.

The current Minister of the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division, a Continent-Destroying Level powerhouse, the Chairman of the Mr. G Research Association, a Tree Planter, and so on, carried many titles, but each one proved his immense strength.

This was someone who surpassed the Martial God, a peerless hero.

In the underground world, some already placed him alongside Bionic A as the strongest existence beneath the Planet Host.

”If you don’t want to die, don’t make a move.”

From tens of thousands of meters away, Gao Gong issued a warning before retracting his gaze, refocusing on the System Panel.

He still had three talents with attributes exceeding a hundred to draw from.

[You have obtained a Tier 2 Skill - Bursting Grip]

A close combat burst skill, not bad.

[You have obtained a Tier 1 Skill - Foot Blade Technique]

Cutting with the wind using your foot? Interesting, but the skill level is too low, pass.

[You have obtained a Tier 2 Skill ’Overlord Body’]

Overlord Body!?

Wow, a minor divine technique!

Overlord Body (Tier 2): When initiating the Overlord Body, the body enters a state of super rigidity, Defense +10000, 100% ignores Armor-Piercing Techniques, 74% not knocked back, suspended, floored, or airborne, 46% ignores Grapple Techniques and Throw Techniques.

’Tsk tsk, starting Overlord Body.’

The so-called starting Overlord Body is the moment just before making a move, as they say, it’s not the power of a big move that’s fearful, it’s that the big move might be interrupted.

With this Overlord Body, at least there’s no worry about the initiation of a big move being cut off.

It’s useless for Armor-Piercing in ’Tyrant Yagami’ mode, after all, their Basic Attack is a big move, mainly about exchanging blood for blood, but for Armor-Piercing in ’Great Serpent Mode’, this move is incredibly powerful.

Most importantly, it is a Tier 2 skill, not an S-Level Talent.

S-Level Talents are bloodline talents, only enhanced through bloodline ascension.

Tier 2 skills, they can be upgraded.

Normal, Advanced, Elite, Expert, Master

In one instance, Armor-Piercing maxed out this skill.

And the Overlord Body evolved into a Master Technique, with the Attribute Panel experiencing great changes.

Overlord Body (Tier 2 - Master): When initiating the Overlord Body, the body is in a state of super rigidity, Defense +50000, 100% ignores Armor-Piercing Techniques, 100% not knocked back, suspended, floored, or airborne, 74% ignores Grapple Techniques and Overdraft Techniques, 51% ignores Mind Control Skills; when using Skill Continuous Combo, Overlord Body lasts 5 seconds, and the skill cannot be interrupted mid-way, skill power +20%; and when entering ’Invincible Dominator’, all resistances double, 55.4% negate opponent’s Break Dominating Body Techniques.

There are three stages of Overlord Body, namely starting Overlord Body, execution Overlord Body, and special Overlord Body.

Starting and execution are easy to understand, while ’special Overlord Body’ corresponds to some techniques that break Overlord Bodies. This game has some divine techniques that break Overlord Bodies, commonly known as ’boss killers’, such as the Mechanic’s ’Super Modification’, Telekinesis Master’s ’Human Control’, Body Knight’s ’One Strike to Break Thousands’, and when encountering such skills, ’Invincible Dominator’ can gamble its life because such ’Break Overlord Body Techniques’ are also super big moves, used up they’re basically in a huge loss state, almost the same as waiting to die.

’Since ’Overlord Body’ is here, should this ’Bursting Grip’ also be upgraded?’

Armor-Piercing contemplated.

Techniques like this ’Grapple Technique’ are actually mostly team skills, like trying to grab an enemy, then let other teammates output damage, and during this process, one must also be cautious of the enemy’s counterattack. After all, they won’t just wait to die, especially in close combat, if pushed into a corner, who knows if they’ll land a Critical Strike or deal some fatal damage.

But with Overlord Body, this skill is a different matter.

Overlord Body + Grapple Technique, followed by a few wide-area moves, that’s the boss’s fundamental routine.

Especially suited for Great Serpent Mode.

”Mr. G.”

”Huh, finally daring to speak up, I thought you were going to drag this on forever.”

Armor-Piercing glanced aside, a data phantom hesitated.

Previously walking the ’Virtual Route’, relying solely on data phantoms, couldn’t even walk in the real world, let alone fly, but now with the unity of virtual reality, the real world is equivalent to half Cyber Space, with data transmission, physical ascension is possible.

Hence the appearance in mid-air at thousands of meters high with the transformation between body and data.

”What rank of Sage are you?”

”Second Sage, Heidel.” The virtual elder opposite bitterly smiled.

”I’ve had dealings with your Life Sage, Omega.”

Armor-Piercing remembered this guy because he is a Polluter; and now it seems, the entire Earth Net Group is polluted, why else would they get entangled with Xiao Yu.

With ’Divine Knowledge’ activated, the number of Memory Worms on his body is no less than that on Xiao Yu, but it seems they’ve mastered a way to extract some kind of power from Memory Worms.

”In fact, our Group’s first Sage, Luca the Sage, once enthusiastically invited you to serve as a Sage for our Group.”

”Venerable Luca, Luca,” Armor-Piercing repeated, thoughtfully, ”If I have time, I’ll go talk to him.”

Heidel sighed in relief, just about to say something, but was interrupted by Armor-Piercing, who glanced at the ground altar, especially the densely packed Memory Worms atop, and pondered.

”These things on the altar, they weren’t prepared for us, were they?”

Heidel tried to quibble, but the surrounding air seemed stagnant, leaving him unable to move.

”This isn’t a simple blood sacrifice, but a large-scale virtual information conversion ceremony, and the target of the conversion isn’t you, nor me,” Armor-Piercing looked at the sea at the edge of the vision, ”it’s the entire Xiao Family, and the Xiao Family’s Bio-Fusion Corps, isn’t it?”

”So this was never a fair duel.”

Heidel’s face changed, before he could speak, Armor-Piercing’s hand shot out lightning-fast, grasping his neck in the gap of virtual and reality conversion.

Simultaneously, his body transformed into an iron mountain, pressing down, and the crimson fingers squeezed forcefully, causing Heidel to explode in pieces.

Overlord Body, and Bursting Grip.
