What’s going on here?

Naoki looked at this Legendary Pokemon native to the Alola Region with a surprised expression on his face.

After a brief moment of contemplation, he stood up and prepared to check the situation.

Seeing that the human followed, Tapu Koko then turned its head and continued ahead.

Naoki returned Gogoat to its Poke Ball, then followed along with Koraidon.

The group left the Forest Pokemon Cafe directly, and Tapu Koko, floating in front, finally stopped in a more open field.

Immediately after, its entire aura changed sharply, and it looked over with those sharp eyes.

A spark flashed across Tapu Koko’s body, its hand shells suddenly opened, and a powerful electric force erupted from within.

Tapu Koko posed in an inviting manner, seemingly wanting to challenge the human in front of it to a decisive battle!

Naoki quickly understood Tapu Koko’s intention.

It wanted to engage in a Pokemon battle with them?

As expected, Tapu Koko was exactly as he remembered it!

Although people referred to Tapu Koko as a Guardian God, it didn’t mean it frequently helped humans.

Tapu Koko’s nature was very unpredictable, sometimes playing pranks or punishing humans a bit.

Of course, it would also very rarely give a mysterious gift to humans it liked, just like giving a Z-Ring to Ash in the anime.

Additionally, Tapu Koko had a very strong curiosity, being interested in both people and other Pokemon, and it would occasionally appear before people to play or engage in battles.

Thinking of this, Naoki immediately decided to have a sparring match with Tapu Koko!

Because according to the process, as long as he could defeat Tapu Koko, he could earn its recognition and have the chance to obtain a Z-Crystal from it!

As the Island Guardian, Tapu Koko’s stash of Z-Crystals was quite abundant!

The Electrium Z given to Ash and Pikachu, the Grassium Z given to Mallow...

”Koraidon!” Naoki suddenly extended his hand toward Tapu Koko.

Koraidon beside him received the command, stepped forward immediately, climbed onto Naoki’s body, and let out a primal roar toward Tapu Koko.

Tapu Koko stared at Koraidon, and in the next second, its body emitted dazzling sparks, a stream of yellow electricity swiftly spread visible to the naked eye.

In the blink of an eye, this grassy field was transformed into an Electric Terrain filled with currents.

”Did it activate its Electric Surge ability?” Naoki commanded, ”Koraidon, don’t use Dragon Type moves!”

”Argh!”

Just as they finished speaking, Tapu Koko on the opposite side vanished from its spot in the blink of an eye, transformed into a shadow cloaked in currents, and appeared behind Koraidon in no time.

”Such incredible speed!” Seeing this scene, Naoki couldn’t help but exclaim, no wonder it could come and go without a trace like the Guardian God Pokemon in the anime!

Tapu Koko raised its hand, and a strong current was released from it.

However, in the next second, a sudden change occurred as the Pokemon in front suddenly turned around, using even faster speed to fiercely grasp its wrist releasing the current.

Seeing this situation, Tapu Koko’s pupils contracted.

This Pokemon’s speed was even faster than its own!

As expected!

Naoki curled his lips into a smile, thinking that as long as Tapu Koko didn’t use Fairy Type moves, everything would be fine.

”Koraidon, Close Combat!” As Koraidon sprang into action, Naoki issued the command.

Koraidon grabbed Tapu Koko with its Dragon Claw and exerted force.

In the next second, Tapu Koko, floating in mid-air, was thrown out with a heavy over-the-shoulder throw by Koraidon, landing fiercely on the ground and creating a not-so-shallow pit.

For a moment, dust billowed around.

”Grrr, grrr, grrr!”

Tapu Koko emitted a series of urgent coughs, as if completely unable to anticipate the current situation.

However, just then, it suddenly heard the voice of that human ringing out again.

”Koraidon, Collision Course!”

The white light overhead was suddenly completely overshadowed by a dark shadow, and Tapu Koko focused its eyes to see a terrifying shadow with a very ancient aura rushing toward its position.

Tapu Koko instantly widened its eyes as a stream of electricity rapidly surged out, and it swiftly dodged with incredible speed.

Just after getting up, Tapu Koko heard a loud ”boom,” as if the earth trembled slightly.

The commotion here startled a large number of Bird-type Pokemon inhabiting the forest, and they flapped their wings frantically, flying away as if fleeing.

Tapu Koko turned around to see the position it had just been lying was now a deeply cratered pit.

Tapu Koko:!!!

The strength of that Pokemon was extremely powerful!

Realizing the opponent was a formidable rival, Tapu Koko put away its playful thoughts, and a strong current erupted from its body.

Almost in the blink of an eye, dazzling electricity enveloped the entire field.

Discharge!

Naoki was temporarily blinded by the electricity, using his right hand to shield himself, while he scanned ahead searching for Koraidon’s whereabouts.

Unexpectedly, he didn’t see Koraidon’s figure anywhere on the field!

What is going on?!

Tapu Koko on the field also noticed this scene, releasing electricity while swiftly scanning the ground and the pit with its gaze.
