Not Being a Trainer This Time

The appearance of Motorcycle Mask in the Alola Region triggered a wave of ”Make It Rain,” but eventually everything returned to calm with Motorcycle Mask’s disappearance.

For a moment, Motorcycle Mask’s true identity seemed even more mysterious in people’s hearts.

And in this environment, Naoki Ranch welcomed a brand-new day.

As the first ray of dawn rose from the distant horizon, Naoki and the Pokemons opened their eyes from sleep, beginning a new day’s life.

After eating the nutritious breakfast made by his sister, the Eevees jumped out of the room, ran through the grass, bathing in the sunlight and sprinted across the ranch’s meadows.

”Slow down!” Naoki leisurely followed behind them, carrying a basket.

The Eevees passed the stable, and the Spectrier and Glastrier residing inside couldn’t help but be captivated by the lively scene, raising their heads, only to see the backs of the Eevees.

”Come, this is your breakfast today!” Naoki, who was following behind, emptied the basket filled with Iceroot Carrots and Shaderoot Carrots.

The Spectrier and Glastrier immediately withdrew their gaze, buried their large horse heads into the trough, and happily feasted.

In that manner, one could hardly see that they were once Legendary Pokemon galloping in the Crown Tundra, seeming just like two ordinary Horse-type Pokemon.

Seeing this scene, Naoki couldn’t help but smile and pat their heads.

Looks like these two horses have completely integrated into the life of the ranch!

The Eevees ran past the Gogoats’ enclosure, where three Gogoats lay snugly on the grass, taking a lazy nap.

Hearing the commotion created by the Eevees, they slightly opened their eyes and lazily yawned.

At this moment, a scent of Grassy Seeds wafted from afar.

The three Gogoats turned their heads and saw Naoki coming their way.

”Come, here are your Grassy Seeds for today. Hungry, aren’t you? Come over for a meal!”

Naoki said as he emptied the basket of Grassy Seeds into the trough, without turning his head.

However, when he turned his head, he saw the three Gogoats had already stood and crowded around him.

Naoki was startled.

”Bleat～”

The three Gogoats rubbed their heads against his arm, then squeezed to the trough and started to eat happily.

The morning ranch was full of energy, with dew drops still clinging to the grass, and the morning breeze brushing against the cheeks making one feel refreshed.

Combee flew out from the hive, heading to the flower field to collect honey for brewing Honey, while Butterfree flapped its wings and landed on the roof, leisurely watching the sun just risen on the horizon.

Early in the morning, Farfetch’d started diligently practicing its Scallion Techniques, while suddenly rain started falling in the nearby farm field - it turned out Dragonite was using Rain Dance to help water.

The rain fell in a pitter-patter, nourishing the crops between the furrows.

Dugtrio, who came to the ground for fresh air, blinked at this scene, it could already imagine how bountiful the fruits would be once these crops matured.

Then, Naoki would make them into delicious dishes and feed them.

Just thinking about it made one feel happy! Dugtrio gazed longingly, drooling.

After feeding the Pokemon in the ranch, it was already seven-thirty in the morning.

Naoki returned home to find Happiny expectantly waiting for him.

”Pukuku!”

”I know, I know, today I’ll take you there.” Naoki said helplessly.

A few days ago, Happiny wanted to become a Pokemon Doctor and prepared to have Naoki teach it the relevant knowledge.

But at that time, Naoki was busy participating in the Royal Battle and had no time, so it was postponed until now.

Logically, Naoki should have taken the Champion’s reward, Proof of the Pilgrimage to the Islands, to the Alola Region to participate in the Island Pilgrimage.

But now there were too many people attracted to the Motorcycle Mask, so after some thought, Naoki decided to wait until the excitement had cooled a bit, and then start his Island Pilgrimage.

Since that’s the case, today he’ll take Happiny to visit the Pokemon Center in town!

With this thought, Naoki prepared to ride Koraidon to Miss Joy’s.

However, before he could head out, a few Trainers rushed in from outside.

”Naoki!”

Naoki was somewhat surprised; he looked at those familiar faces, remembering that these three young ones had once challenged trials in the ranch.

”Why have you come? Is it to challenge the trial? But I have something to do today, the trials in the ranch are temporarily not accepting challenges,” Naoki said.

However, the young girl vigorously shook her head: ”No! We’re not here to challenge the trial!”

The young boy to the side was very excited: ”Alcremie! Mr. Naoki’s Alcremie is also very good at using Metronome, right? Last time Alcremie used Metronome to unleash a powerful move to defeat my Pokemon!”

Naoki was instantly alert, but he maintained a smile on his face:

”Ah? You mean that? Yes, my Alcremie indeed excels at using Metronome, but speaking of which, it was guided by a very impressive predecessor!”

Naoki decided to use Creation from Nothing move!

”Eh?” Hearing this, the young boys and girls were dumbfounded: ”So you’re not Motorcycle Mask, Mr. Naoki?”
