Not Being a Trainer This Time

”Aye!”

Brother Indeedee stepped forward to check on Kingdra, then blew the whistle to announce the result of the battle.

”Amazing, so strong!” Clair stared in astonishment.

Was that move just now a fusion of Rain Dance, Hurricane, and Tri Attack?

Rain Dance can greatly increase the accuracy of Thunder, and Hurricane can create an extreme battle environment to disrupt the opponent.

The alliances between different moves complement each other and can produce such tremendous power, it’s truly incredible.

If a Trainer who has never undergone targeted special training faced such a situation, they would probably be completely defeated in one encounter, or even instantly KO’d in severe cases.

Is this the true power of the hidden Boss in the Paldea Region?

Suddenly, Clair recalled the rumors she heard from other Trainers while collecting Gym Badges.

It’s said that in Porto Marinada Town in the Paldea Region, there’s a hidden Boss whose usual identity is a Rancher, but his true strength has reached a terrifying Champion Level.

Even the milk cow Pokemon raised on his ranch can make the challenging Trainers retreat in defeat.

At the time, Clair was deeply interested in this rumor and investigated it, discovering that the hidden Boss in Paldea was indeed her target this trip.

Clair could even feel that the true strength of the Trainer Naoki in front of her far surpasses that of her cousin Lance.

Even among Champions, there are differences!

With a sigh in her heart, Clair’s eyes sparkled.

Having a Pokemon battle with such a powerful Champion makes this trip worth it!

”Come on, Senior Naoki, for the final battle, I will send out my strongest Pokemon, and I ask you to do the same and send out your strongest Pokemon!” Clair invited.

As she spoke, her gaze turned to Koraidon beside her. As a Dragon Type expert, she could clearly sense that the Dragon Type aura on this Pokemon was the most intense.

Let’s have a strong duel!

Hearing this, Naoki was slightly stunned. He glanced at Koraidon beside him and then smiled, saying:

”Koraidon’s strength surpasses other Pokemon by a mile.”

”That’s my purpose for visiting you today!” Clair stated seriously.

”Alright!” Naoki nodded, then substituted Dragonite out, offering it a bottle of milk to restore its energy, letting it rest off to the side.

”Roar～” Dragonite agreed happily, swapping with Koraidon.

The Dragonite originally standing beside Clair also walked onto the battlefield.

The third Dragon duel, Koraidon vs. Dragonite!

With a crisp whistle sound, the battle officially started!

”Dragonite, use Twister!” Clair initiated the attack.

The Dragonite on the field suddenly opened its mouth, cheeks bulging, as purple Dragon Type energy quickly gathered within to form a purple Twister, sweeping towards the opposite Koraidon.

Koraidon stood quietly in place, gazing at Dragonite with its golden eyes.

As the Twister approached, Koraidon abruptly raised its right hand, instantly transforming into a massive Dragon Claw and swung forward.

The roaring Twister was instantly torn apart.

Witnessing this scene firsthand, Clair’s gaze sharpened; the Twister’s attack is ineffective against that Pokemon!

That Pokemon named Koraidon, what exactly is its situation?!

No, wait! That Koraidon is about to counterattack!

”Dragonite, quickly dodge!” Clair recognized Koraidon’s intent early and promptly alerted her Pokemon.

Sure enough, the next second, she heard Naoki’s voice:

”Koraidon, Dragon Claw!”

The Koraidon on the field reacted almost simultaneously.

For a moment, Clair was a bit dazed.

The tacit understanding between Naoki and that Koraidon is so high! He had just given the command, and Koraidon almost synchronously reacted, nearly achieving the level of telepathy.

However, the scene before her brought her back to her senses.

Koraidon swung its massive Dragon Claw and charged out, with Dragonite realizing the danger, immediately retracting its body and flapping its wings to fly high.

But the next second, something unexpected happened.

Koraidon, upon seeing Dragonite take flight, also soared high.

No, it wasn’t flying! It was using the powerful muscles in its legs to jump up high!

The enormous Dragon Claw suddenly struck, catching Dragonite off guard, sending its body flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground.

On its round and chubby belly, there appeared three clear, ferocious claw marks.

”Dragonite!” Clair shouted loudly.

”Roar...” Dragonite gritted its teeth, struggling to stand up from the ground.

Koraidon stood at a not too far, not too close distance, watching it.

That terrifying figure made Dragonite inadvertently feel fear, and it let out a low roar from its throat:

”Roar...”

”Dragonite, hold on!” Clair timely spoke up, pulling Dragonite back from its fear.

Seeing Dragonite recover, Clair nodded: ”In that case, let’s use the final blow, Dragonite, use Outrage!”

Succeed or perish.

”Roar!”

Dragonite looked up and let out a series of roars, as the Dragon Type energy on its body gathered frantically at the position of Outrage, putting it in a confused state, its eyes turning blood red, as if it had lost reason, charging madly towards Koraidon.
