To prevent any more mishaps from occurring to the Pokémon on the World Tree, and them getting into danger, there would be no way to use the Sacred Fire to heal them when needed.

Thus, Ho-oh bestowed its Holy Ash to the Item Shop, allowing Pokémon in need to come and take it themselves.

Of course, there are times when the Holy Ash runs out.

But every time Ho-oh left the World Tree, it would make a special trip to restock.

Because it was grateful for the blessings of the World Tree, and because Ho-oh loved this place and the Pokémon living here, it didn’t mind giving its Holy Ash to them.

Hearing Vileplume’s description, Happiny showed a surprised expression on its face.

”Puku!” Wow, amazing!

Being injured is a scary thing. Before coming to the ranch, Happiny had quarreled with other wild Pokémon and got hurt.

Its wound hurt a lot, and it took a long time to heal. If it had this ash at that time, wouldn’t it have healed immediately?!

However, regarding Vileplume’s words, both Alcremie and Pawmot showed no particular surprise.

Instead, it reminded Pawmot of the Life Sheep Milk on the ranch.

It said: ”Bamo...” (The effect of this Holy Ash is exactly the same as the milk produced by the Gogoat...)

Vileplume:?!!

”Dafu?”

How could it be? That’s the Holy Ash of Lord Ho-oh, nothing in this world could match that effect!

Vileplume was full of disbelief, thinking this Pokémon must be lying!

To prove it wasn’t lying, Pawmot immediately flew back to the ranch and brought a bottle of Life Sheep Milk from the refrigerator.

To compare the effects of Life Sheep Milk and Holy Ash, the group headed to the Pokémon Hospital.

There happened to be two Pokémon injured in battle there.

They were a Treecko and a Mudbray.

Pawmot and Vileplume used Holy Ash and Life Sheep Milk on them, respectively.

Almost in the blink of an eye, the injuries on Treecko and Mudbray disappeared, and they restored to health.

Seeing this scene, Vileplume was dumbfounded immediately.

What kind of sheep milk is that? Its effect is exactly the same as Lord Ho-oh’s Holy Ash?!

Pawmot proudly said: ”Bamo!” (It’s Life Sheep Milk from Naoki Ranch!)

”Puku?” Happiny looked around and glanced at the injured Pokémon over there, unable to resist asking.

Why are there so many injured Pokémon? What is this place?

Alcremie explained: ”Mama...” (This is the Pokémon Hospital on the World Tree, but currently there are no professional Pokémon doctors here, and these Pokémon can’t get professional treatment...)

Happiny was a bit puzzled: ”Puku?” (Why is that?)

Alcremie wasn’t quite sure about the answer to this question either.

It thought of the origins of these Pokémon, then replied: ”Mama?” (Maybe it’s because the doctor Pokémon haven’t met us yet?)

Just at that time, Naoki, having finished setting up the Snowfield Ecological Zone, brought Koraidon back to the top of the World Tree.

He found Pawmot and the others on the Pokémon Hospital’s side.

Seeing Alcremie and Happiny deep in thought there, Naoki was a bit surprised.

”What are you thinking about?”

All the Pokémon turned their heads and saw Naoki and Koraidon walking in from outside.

Happiny seized the opportunity to ask the question that puzzled it: ”Puku?” (Why are there no Pokémon doctors here?)

Hmm? Naoki looked at Happiny with some surprise: ”Pokémon doctor?”

Happiny nodded repeatedly: ”Puku!” (If there were doctors, these injured Pokémon could be taken care of, and their injuries would heal quickly!)

Naoki quickly understood what Happiny meant.

No wonder the Chansey family is inherently kind and gentle!

It’s said that even wild Chansey, when they see injured Pokémon, will give their nutrient-rich eggs to help them regain health quickly.

Happiny, even though it hasn’t evolved yet, already possesses a kind heart.

Thinking of this, Naoki smiled and explained: ”Because there currently aren’t any Pokémon suitable for being a doctor on the World Tree, but there is a Pokémon that fits quite well.”

”Puku?” Happiny was indeed drawn to these words.

”That is Happiny evolving into Chansey,” Naoki said.

Happiny evolving into Chansey... Happiny was momentarily dazed, then immediately realized.

Huh? Isn’t that it?!

”Puku?” Happiny quickly pointed to itself.

Naoki nodded and said: ”That’s right, because Chansey has a kind heart, they gently take care of injured Pokémon, making them the most suitable Pokémon for being doctors.”

Upon hearing this, Happiny felt a bit hesitant.

But it hasn’t evolved into Chansey yet!

However, Naoki was just saying it casually, with no intention of forcing Happiny to be a doctor here, leaving everything up to its own will.

”Don’t worry, I was just saying. You can choose to be a doctor if you want to, or you don’t have to if you don’t.”

Happiny actually quite liked this place.

It looked at those Pokémon suffering from poison and paralysis, recalling the scene of them lying on the ground without anyone to care for them, pitiful and pained, feeling a bit unable to bear it.

If there are no doctors to take care of them, wouldn’t those Pokémon be too pitiful?

Thinking of this, Happiny made a decision in its heart.
