Not Being a Trainer This Time

Naoki: ”...” Here we go again.

He responded with a cheerful smile: ”We’re not in a hurry, but speaking of which, Chief, you still haven’t gotten married yet!”

Geeta was unconcerned about this: ”That’s because my work isn’t finished yet, but you guys are different. I’m really looking forward to that day! When it comes, I’ll definitely prepare a big gift for you!”

Naoki considered himself lacking nothing at the moment, and didn’t take Geeta’s words to heart.

Geeta said if he didn’t want to reveal his true identity, the Paldea League would help to cover it up.

Regarding this, Naoki gladly accepted Geeta’s kindness.

Geeta was very busy, and after chatting briefly, she boarded a plane and left the ranch.

Leaving Naoki to gaze at the azure sky, recalling Geeta’s words just moments ago.

Marriage... getting married to Lono, creating a family of their own, running the ranch together, taking care of Pokemon, and eventually growing old together. Just the thought of it made life feel complete.

Naoki suddenly wanted to see Lono.

But come to think of it, you usually propose before getting married, right?

He remembered that in the anime, Professor Kukui had a very romantic proposal to Burnet.

Since Lono was the one who confessed, this time it should be his turn to take the initiative.

He’s decided, once the issue between Giratina and Arceus is resolved, he’ll propose to Lono!

As for the ring... Naoki thought of the Mega Stone for Ampharos that Steven had given him before. Since that’s the case, it might as well serve as the diamond on the ring!

Meanwhile, in the Reversed World.

On Flower Sky Island, Giratina lay sprawled like a couch potato among the flowers, crushing a large patch beneath it.

It closed its eyes, opened its mouth to grab a Berry and eat it. As the abundant juice exploded in its mouth, Giratina’s face showed a look of ease and enjoyment.

Floating in mid-air before it, Phone Rotom reported the current situation to Giratina excitedly.

”Report, Rotom! The number of fans has increased! We’ve gained 1,380,000 fans in just one day, Rotom!”

”According to the current online ranking, we’ve surpassed everyone and reached the top spot, Rotom!”

”Great, Rotom, we’ve succeeded, Rotom!”

Haha, Giratina really is so popular! Giratina was immensely proud; now it truly is the world’s number one Pokemon!

”Rotom, read those human comments to me!” Giratina said.

”Understood, Rotom!”

Phone Rotom nodded enthusiastically, as though sharing in Giratina’s glory.

”Here’s a comment from the user Cute Pichu, Rotom! [Ah, Giratina is so amazing! Its power is the strongest among all the Pokémon I’ve seen!] Rotom!”

”Continue.” Giratina was in high spirits. See? Even humans think so!

”Understood! Here’s a comment from the user Berry, Rotom! [Wow! I never expected Giratina to be so awesome, using a Rotom Phone like humans! I’ve followed you, Giratina, I’m your little fan, please take more of your photos?] Rotom!”

Hmph, this human is truly bold, daring to ask for its photos on the first day of following. Such ignorance of boundaries!

Giratina ignored this comment, ate another sweet apple, and lay back enjoying itself among the flowers, closing its eyes again. It then said to Phone Rotom: ”Continue!”

”Understood, Rotom!”
