1150 Chapter 1150 - 535: Tapu Koko Was Also Involved in the Plot Against Arceus! 2026-11-03

Tapu Koko has come to visit this Forest Pokemon Cafe?

The Oranguru behind the bar is quite used to such occurrences.

It is rummaging with its hand in the pile of miscellaneous items under the bar.

Naoki observes the leader of the Tapu family, recalling that in the anime, Tapu Koko does often visit here.

At this moment, the Oranguru behind the bar seems to have finally found what it was looking for.

It stops rummaging and takes out an old-looking white ring.

”Yare yare.”

The Oranguru hands over the white ring.

Seeing this action, Naoki is slightly taken aback, and then asks in surprise, ”This is...?”

”Yare yare.” (This is a token of my gratitude to you.)

With that said, the Oranguru glances over at Gogoat and Koraidon, and continues:

”Yare yare.” (Judging by your looks, you must be a Trainer, right? This ring can provide some help for you, take it.)

”Can I really?” Naoki can’t help but ask, because he has recognized the item, it’s one of the essential items for performing Z-moves, the Z Ring!

The Oranguru nods lightly: ”Yare yare.” (The help you provided us is much more valuable than this ring.)

Upon hearing this, Naoki doesn’t decline further, and solemnly accepts the Z Ring from the Oranguru, wearing it on his wrist.

Although old, it seems to work just fine.

Next, he only needs the corresponding Z Crystal!

Currently, Arceus’s Plates are incomplete, the five Plates that compose the Life Orb are still scattered across the world.

If Naoki remembers correctly, the missing Plates for Arceus are: Electric, Grass, Water, Ground, and Dragon.

Among these, Dragon Type cannot inflict damage on Arceus with the Pixie Origin Plate; this was confirmed in the movie by Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.

This means that currently, only moves with Electric, Grass, Water, and Ground types can threaten Arceus.

In the ranch, the corresponding type Pokemon are:

Grass-type Calyrex, Electric-type Zapdos, Ground-type Groudon, and Water-type Kyogre.

Zapdos is not to be mentioned... because its power is much weaker compared to the other three.

Therefore, Naoki needs to find the corresponding Z Crystals.

But there is another matter that bothers him.

According to Naoki, Z-moves are performed by Trainers using ”Z Power” to strengthen a Pokemon’s moves into a powerful special move.

The power of these moves is far stronger than the Pokemon’s original moves.

However, using such moves puts a significant load on both the Trainer and the Pokemon, rendering them unable to use it continuously in a short period.

This means they only have one chance to use a big move.

In moments of deep faith, Primal Reversions of Groudon and Kyogre.

Who should use the finishing move, then?

After pondering for a moment, Naoki decides to think about it later. After all, using Z-moves is not just his decision; it’s up to the Pokemon themselves too.

Naoki returns to the table with Koraidon.

The Oranguru behind the bar begins to prepare Pinap Berry juice for Tapu Koko.

However, Tapu Koko seems quite distracted.

It turns its head and stares unblinkingly at Naoki, Koraidon, and Gogoat.

Tapu Koko is quite surprised.

Because it senses a very strong presence of Nature Power from that human and that Gogoat!

Are they Trainers from the Alola Region?

Tapu Koko thinks not, because it has never encountered such Trainers in the Alola Region, at least not on Melemele Island.

Just then, a sweet and fragrant juice, smelling of Pinap Berries, is pushed in front of Tapu Koko.

”Yare yare,” says the Oranguru.

But as soon as it speaks, Tapu Koko’s body turns into a yellow blur and vanishes from its spot.

In the blink of an eye, it rushes toward Naoki and his Pokemon, closely observing them.

”Yare?” The Oranguru is left bewildered.

Naoki is also startled by Tapu Koko’s sudden move, and instinctively leans his head back.

”Ka?” Tapu Koko lets out a low growl.

Naoki hesitates then tentatively greets, ”Hello?”

Tapu Koko steps back two paces, continuing to observe them from a distance.

Naoki: ”...” What is Tapu Koko doing?

Quickly, a possibility comes to Naoki’s mind.

Might Tapu Koko be intending to give him a Z Crystal, just like in the anime where it proactively gave Ash a Z Ring embedded with Electrium Z?!

”Ka...”

Tapu Koko squints its eyes, seeming to make some decision, and leaves the Pinap Berry juice prepared by Oranguru untouched, heading toward the door.

It walks a few steps, noticing that the human and the few Pokemon have not followed, and suddenly stops, turning its head to call, ”Ka!”

Naoki now understands what Tapu Koko means.

”You want me to follow you?” Naoki asks in disbelief.

”Ka!” Tapu Koko nods.
