I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1756: 24.17 Sixth Violet Star - Force Contract

Huzi noticed that someone had suddenly appeared in his cave. Though he couldn’t pinpoint who it was, the scent left behind by the wardens was picked up by him. Now he was even more vigilant, as he couldn’t understand how these people had been able to enter his abode. If Huzi were alone, he wouldn’t be afraid, but seeing his two cubs in the bed, he felt that he might need to strengthen the defensive formation around his cave.

He mumbles, ”Forget it. Let’s increase the formation around the cave. I would be the one at a loss if I lost my cubs again.”

Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie looked at each other as they heard Huzi’s mumbling. They thought that this father of theirs was too distant and didn’t care much about them. He doesn’t even treat them as babies and talks to them like adult beastmen. Now they realized that it wasn’t because he felt that they were special that they were treated in such a way. The real reason is that he doesn’t know how to take care of cubs of their age. This is a new dad without experience in parenting.

For the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, this kind of parent is better for them. They don’t need to pretend so much like cubs and could even communicate with their daddy of theirs easier than those other beastmen, who would definitely feel doubt upon seeing such strange cubs like those two of them.

The leader of the tribe left again for a bit to gather materials to create more formations. He only left when he saw that his cubs had taken their nap on the bed and covered them with a blanket before leaving the cave. He had tasked some beastmen to guard his abode while gathering materials he needed for creating formations.

The two cubs who were supposed to be napping opened their eyes when they saw that their dad had left. They tried to contact Hunluan and An Shizhe through the system, but the heavenly laws had interfered, preventing them from using the system link with the other system.

Ye Xiajie said, ”The heavenly laws are interfering again. Is it telling us that the use of other things not compatible with this world is forbidden?”

”No, something is weird in this world. I had already asked permission for this world to use the system like always. How come even communication between systems is forbidden? It seems to be forbidding anything connected outside in communication with those who are outside. After all, the main medium for contacting Vearth’s two main systems is the systems given to each host.”

”I can feel something calling me to the south. What land is located in that area?” asked Hei Anjing.

Ye Xiajie pulled his wife into a hug and said, ”We can ask about that later. How about sleeping with me? This body is so weak that I can barely keep my eyes open. Yawns~

”
”Alright. Let’s take a nap for now,” Hei Anjing said as he noticed that at some point his beloved had long fallen asleep.

—

At the human territory, Marshal’s mansion.

Hunluan in his beast form and An Shizhe, who finally completely woke up after being bathed and fed, were now staying at a detached manor within the mansion of the Long family. This is per the request of Hunluan. To give them a private space, allowing the two of them to live while hiding among all other humans.

Right at this moment, the toddler World Eater is questioning his life. He woke up in the middle of bathing after they hatched and saw Hunluan in his white tiger form and a young boy looking at him as he was bathed. He instantly woke up at that moment and tried to leave the basin. Unfortunately, he is a baby, and his current strength is too weak to do anything else.

A silver-winged tiger was also napping on the bed created to accommodate his huge body. He didn’t even notice that his other half’s soul was about to leave his body in depression and embarrassment.

The World Eater, An Shizhe, mumbles, ”Why did I have to be the one to become a toddler? This is simply unfair.”

He was talking to himself all along until he noticed someone was approaching the mansion they were in. Unlike the rhythmical sounds of normal walking, this person’s footsteps are light yet clumsy. He immediately turned to his beast form, a small, dark violet lion cub, and crawled towards his sleeping beloved and hid within his embrace. His small size was enough for his wife to find him within the fur.

He waited and finally saw who the person was. It was a young man, at least a few years older than Long Juedi. Based on this man’s sudden appearance in this world, this one didn’t have good intentions towards them. This man is Long Juedi’s cousin, Long Teng.

The World Eater heard the young man mumbling, ”Father said it was supposed to be here! The rare, healing, uncontracted beast of the Long Family. I couldn’t understand why that fool Long Juedi didn’t contract with it. Didn’t he know how rare a beast with healing abilities is? If you don’t want it, then it can only be mine!”

The existence and ability of the silver-winged tiger were unexpectedly known to the people of the Long Clan. It seems that even though the marshal had warned the servants who were in that room that day not to spread the existence of Hunluan and An Shizhe, their existence still spread among the Long Clan.

Now, a brat even comes over to this place to try to force a contract with them. And Shizhe’s eyes are now full of murderous intent.

The young man called Long Teng, upon seeing the sleeping silver-winged tiger, was delighted. It seems that the medicine he tasked the chef to put in this beast’s food was effective. What he didn’t know was that Hunluan was only sleeping because he was truly sleepy; as for the human medicine he was fed, that had no effect on him whatsoever.

Long Teng said, ”Hehe~ you can finally become my beast. A rare one like you should be under my possession. I especially killed one of my best to make space for you, my precious beast.”

He brought out a parchment scroll of the contract. He was chanting with full seriousness and with greed in his eyes. Long Teng didn’t even notice the hidden killing intent coming from the direction of the sleeping, silver-winged tiger.

Just as he was about to finish the chanting for the force contract, An Shizhe jumped out and tore the contract, making all the power of it backfire on Long Teng. The power of a broken contract was enough to make one stupid—that’s the beastmaster, who would usually have one to guard them while chanting. Long Teng knows that there are only two beasts that live in this manor. That’s why he didn’t bring any guards, as he didn’t believe there was a beast that could go against its master when a contract was formed. He was so excited that he had lowered his guard enough for An Shizhe to exploit.

AGHHHH!!!

The agonized scream of Long Teng echoes in the whole manor. It woke up not only Hunluan, who was napping, but even the beastmaster guarding the manor heard the loud scream. When they entered the mansion, they saw Young Master Long Teng holding his head while shouting in great pain.

The beastmasters thought that the two unique beasts might have done something to the young master and immediately informed the marshal and others about it.

It didn’t take long for the recently healed former marshal, Long Huang. The current marshal, Long Tian. The young lord, Long Juedi, and another man of middle age arrive at the manor. They immediately questioned the beastmasters as soon as they arrived.

Long Tian asked, ”What the hell happened here? Didn’t I forbid people from coming to this manor? What is Teng doing in this place?!”

”A’Teng!?” The other middle-aged man seems to be Long Teng’s father, Long Kian.

They looked worriedly at Long Teng, who was holding his head, and noticed that something had happened to him. When they look at the two beasts inside the manor, they can somehow guess what has happened.

The World Eater, An Shizhe, spoke and slammed the broken contract scroll under his small paws. His irritated yet adorable voice was heard in the area.

{That stupid brat tried to force a contract on Hunluan! I destroyed it at the last moment to wreck him. Did you think that just because we are recently hatched and young, we can be bullied?! } said An Shizhe.

Everyone was surprised to see a beast cub able to speak in such a manner. It was as if talking with some adult possessing a grumpy temperament.

Long Juedi took the torn contract from under An Shizhe’s paws and noticed that it was indeed a force contract between the beastmaster and its beast. He passed this torn contract to his father.

Long Tian holding this one proof was enough to know what had unfolded. He looked at his brother with a sharp gaze and questioned him.

”You wanted your son to sign a contract with my son’s beasts?! What kind of bullshit do you have in your head!?”
