I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1796: 24.57 Sixth Violet Star - Mercy

On their way back to the ancient forest, the group had walked past the marketplace which led directly to it. For some reason, the stall owner of the cotton candy store brought almost everything in his stall and gave it to Mo Minkong.

The cotton candy seller, despite trembling in fear, kneels down and offers all his products.

”Please allow me to enter the Ancient forest once. Just a day will do. My children need a beast egg but for a low grade beast master like me I won’t be able to enter the barren lands nor can l afford the expensive prices at the auction hall. This is all I can offer. Exalted one, please... I am begging you. Just one... One day.”

No one expected that someone would dare to kneel before these dangerous individuals, especially the one in front carrying two monstrous cubs. Even though this man hadn’t made a move and only spoke a few words, as the father of these two cubs shows his capabilities. Moreover, one of the cubs is a ninetailed fox, meaning this man’s mate is most likely the leader of the beastman race who is the only adult ninetailed fox beastman in existence, Hezi.

Mo Minkong was used to this kind of servile action. However, in most cases it would be beast kowtowing to him. But this time, a human appeared and did it. Though he doesn’t hate humans, he feels a bit uncomfortable towards them. Among the other races, the human race is the most easily affected by chaos energy and would usually be the cause of war.

With him being born in chaos, in his eyes humans are the weakest and the one with the most greed. Making him want to eliminate them to prevent the possibility of chaos spreading.

Mo Minkong’s face turned cold and looked down on the human, ”Move.”

The human stall owner trembles at first but his determination overrides his fear and starts kowtowing.

”Please, exalted one. Please grant mercy to this humble being.”

”Why do you think I would grant you mercy, mortal?” The Beast God, Minkong asked.𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

The moment everyone heard that Mo Minkong called humans a mortal they shiver. The only being that calls all other beings as mortal is only one kind of existence. A divine being, a God.

Marshal Long Tian’s thoughts, ’This man is indeed extraordinary. He might be a Beast God just as I thought and those cubs of his. They gave me the same feeling as meeting the seniors from the detached manor.’

The stall owner of the cotton candy said, ”Divine one, you are also a father. For the sake of their safety and future alone, I am sure you are also willing to sacrifice everything for them. Just the fact when you are surrounded by beings that may put them in danger, the divine one keeping your cubs in your arms, shows you are a loving father.”

”All I want is to give my children a better future because my strength isn’t enough. I can only sell a little sugar to sustain their livelihood. However, for their future alone, I am willing to put my life in line. Please divine one have mercy on this weak one. I shall serve you for eternity in exchange if you willed me to!”

The sudden declaration of giving away his lifetime freedom just for a chance for him to get better beast eggs for his children this cotton candy seller is willing to give away anything.

Silence fell in the area as Mo Minkong stares at the human kowtowing to him without stopping that his forehead split and is now bleeding. Even in pain this human father isn’t willing to waste this opportunity he has right now.

It can be said that anyone would be moved at this scene. But as a Beast God that had lived for almost a thousand of years. What is it that Mo Minkong hadn’t seen? Unsure if this human is telling the truth, he hesitated and didn’t even notice that his youngest cub who was napping just now had once again woken up.

Hei Anjing’s adorable voice breaks the silence. ”Papa, I want to eat cotton candy. I want to bring one for daddy, the other cubs in the villages to the uncles and aunts as well. Can we take this uncle’s cotton candy?”

”Jing’er cub, you truly want it?” asked Mo Minkong.

Seeing his youngest cub nodding his head happily, Mo Minkong made a decision. He took the cotton candies extended to their direction which caused the humans to be shocked.

”Follow us. You only have until dawn to get what you desire. No help from others, you alone must take what you wish. You must leave the ancient forest before the sun rises. Until then no beast or beastmen will kill you in the forest. Consider this as payment for this product of yours,” Mo Minkong said.

As for the cotton candy seller, he was stunned at first and finally tears of joy had started falling on his face. Ye Xiajie glanced at him expressionlessly but still waved his hand to heal his forehead.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness said, ”Make your preparations. You must follow right away before we enter the ancient forest.”

Everyone didn’t expect that the cub who can control the darkness had the capability to heal as well. The cotton candy seller immediately stood up and bowed his head towards the father and sons, as he ran back to his home to get his weapons for protection and things to hold a beast egg.

There were some humans who wanted to copy the cotton candy seller. However, Mo Minkong and the other two gods’ kindness are those only for that one that is worthy. Only that candy seller was willing to step in. Despite the possibility of dying in offending the powerful, he put his life on line just for this opportunity. That’s why even the indifferent Evil God, Ye Xiajie, made a move to heal his wounds because his courage and determination is worth giving him a chance.

As for the fools who only want to copy what the cotton candy seller did, the rest of them aren’t fools. Mo Minkong spread his aura and pushed away those who dared to come near them. This time his stance is clear. Stay away from us!

This time Mo Minkong no longer stopped as the road was devoid of other beings. Those who dared to approach them were now forced to kneel as long as their intention was to approach or touch him. Marshal Long Tian and his subordinates followed them while keeping on guard. Their intention was to watch over these powerful beings and see to themselves that they would leave their city with their own eyes.

Some soldiers didn’t expect that the Beast God was unexpectedly human-like. When it comes to family even this beast is like a loving father towards his children.

”Marshal, I didn’t expect that the beastmen and the Beast God were like this. They are a bit too...”

”Too human-like?”

The marshal completed his subordinate’s sentence with the correct words. Actually, he himself was shocked. He thought that the only reason why the seniors in his house were human-like was because they are unique. The beast god just now, his two cubs acted like they stood above the rest only because of their strength and standing. However, they don’t trample on the weak regardless of their race.

Long Tian said, ”Maybe the human race had only seen what they wanted to see. We have never looked at the other race and see that they also have this kind of side.” The soldiers with him were all silenced as they also couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed if not for the fact that they had seen it with their own eyes.

Those beasts who were treated badly, a young beast king was willing to expose himself to save them. The other cub was willing to kill to protect his brother and this Beast God was willing to listen to a human plea just because of his cubs’ existence. There is also Vega, a high elf and former king of the elven race, who is willing to give up his position for his beastman wife.

There is also his wife who is willing to sell his present in exchange for their daughter’s future. Finally, this immature young lady, despite being given an opportunity for a better future, she gave it all up just for the sake of her parents.

A beast, a beastman, an elf, a mixed breed and young cubs. Each and one of them are not from the human race. How come they act more as human than a real human.

Humans are selfish. They are greedy and will do everything to get what they want. Only a few were willing to give up for the better of their loved ones. Even he had tried to kill a young cub from the other race just because of the overwhelming strength he possessed. Thinking about it now, the current marshal, Long Tian, was embarrassed and disappointed in his own heart.

Long Tian mumbles, ”In the end, I am no different from other humans. Judging them by their race and not for who they are.”
