I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1755: 24.16 Sixth Violet Star - Shadow Realm

”How can you enter the shadow realm?”

The leader of the beastmen questioned the two cubs. The moment he saw them, he instantly realized that these two were different from the other cubs. There is no beast cub that can immediately turn into their human form, or a beast that can transform after hatching. He immediately noticed that these two are special. After all, they are eggs he laid because of that being.

The God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness pretended that they couldn’t understand the question of the leader who leads the beastmen, Huzi. Huzi was not affected by their silence, as he knew that they were pretending about it. However, he still carried away the two cubs in his arms. He also noticed how protective the beastman cub is towards the beast in its arms. That’s why he didn’t dare to separate. But the others thought so, especially the caretaker of the nest, who now can be blamed for his negligence.

The caretaker made a move before talking and caught Huzi by surprise. He had never expected that there would be someone in this world who would make a move before his eyes. He saw the brave caretaker trying to grab the small black fox from the toddler’s arms.

”Young master, let go of that beast. It might bite you,” said the nest caretaker.

However, before he could touch the black fox, his own shadows had eaten him. In his fear, he reached out to grab anything, but his eyes met the cold gaze of Ye Xiajie. He is looking at him like some kind of trash that didn’t know its place.

”W-What is this?!”

Agh. Ahhh~

Seeing the situation, Huzi made a move and pulled out the caretaker, now covered in wounds and face tainted with tears, trembling. The caretaker couldn’t believe that he almost died just now. While trembling, he hesitated to look up and take one look at the toddler in the arms of their leader. He saw it looking at him with disdain while carefully cradling the black fox within its arms. It was greatly offended by his attempt to take away the being within its embrace.

Huzi scolded him for his actions: ”Fool! Who allowed you to take away his mate?! Leave and get yourself treated.”

”Y-Yes, leader,” the other beastmen took away the caretaker.

While the others can only watch as their leader takes away the cubs with him and leaves the hidden nest to return to his abode. The others didn’t stop the leader from taking away his cubs. But after witnessing the dangerous power that the cub possessed, no one dared to speak up. None of them wants to end up like the caretaker who made a move.

Only when the leader took his leave did the other beastmen finally sigh in relief. They had witnessed what happened to the caretaker. The bystanders had seen the scene more clearly than the ones involved. The caretaker was the one in the wrong. He shouldn’t have made a move before the cubs and the leader.

”Did that cub just use the shadow realm that the leader can use?”

”I thought the shadow realm was exclusive for the leader’s use.”

”They’re their cubs. What is surprising about them being able to do it?”

At Huzi’s cave...

As soon as he returned to his cave, he placed the two cubs on the soft bed. He also took a seat not far from the bed and made a coffee for himself to drink. He also prepared some baby food for the two cubs. He watches them eat without forcing them to speak. He waits until they finish eating and is finally willing to look at the beastman in front of them.

The couple was having a conversation through sound transmission.

”This beastman seems to be one of our parents in this world,” Ye Xiajie said.

Hei Anjing looked at his form and said, ”He must be a nine-tailed fox like I am, and the color was taken from the other father. Do you know what kind of beast form you have?”

”I might be a bear, but I’m not so sure about it. I will turn into a beast for you later. You can check what beast I am when that time comes.”

”What should we do with him? We cannot just ignore him like this.”

”I will talk to him.”

When they finished eating the soft baby food, the couple had also ended their conversation through their divine consciousness. They stare at Huzi without taking the lead in talking. In the end, Huzi spoke once again. His question was the same as before.

”How can you use the shadow domain? That is something your other father had given to me. Is it because you are his son that you can use it?” Huzi asked.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness just nods at the questions of their dad. It was already surprising enough that one of them was already using their human form at such a young age. Doing so will just make them no different from a monster. Huzi accepted that these brats could not give him the answers he wanted to hear and decided to bring a basin to bathe the toddler and the little fox.

Huzi mumbles, ”I might be insane asking babies about things they do not understand.”

After the couple was all cleaned up, they were placed inside a crib where they pretended to fall asleep. They waited for the beastman to leave so they could go to their small world and check on the other two, Yun Ming and Lou Wuye.

—

Inside their small world...

The two had temporarily returned to their original form and found the two wardens. The two systems, Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang, had approached them the moment they had appeared in this dimensional world.

[Lord Hei, My Lord, you guys are finally here.]

[The two wardens had also hatched a few hours ago and used a time scroll so they could grow into adults.]

[My lord, your form is so cute~]

The God of Destruction said, ”I know, right? He indeed looks so cute as a baby.”

”You guys, that’s enough. Call on the wardens; it’s time for them to leave this small world and come out,” the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

It didn’t take long for the wardens to come over as they were summoned. After hatching from their eggs, they immediately used a time scroll to reach adulthood. At the very least, they need to do this so they immediately support their lords, who are most likely born as babies outside this dimension.

”When we leave this small world, you guys have to look after us. We couldn’t force growth, as one of the parents of our current vessels had seen us already,” said Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing said, ”Once we come out, you will head to the human city and find those two. They had most likely hatched at the same time as us. We should learn about the situation of this world. This world is most likely at war.”

”Though getting involved in that seems fun, we cannot get involved in our state. Maybe we can only make our move to handle this situation. This world is a bit weird. There is too much chaos. We should find Hunluan and ask him about the situation.”

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness: ”In this world, it seems you can be the shadow realm. There is a being in this world that can use darkness and create a shadow realm. Be careful not to use your abilities too much.”

”Let’s go out now. I feel someone is coming,” the God of Destruction said.

With just a thought, all of them had come out of the small dimension. Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing returned to their real form. As soon as they come out, the two wardens immediately leave with the two systems, Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang, to learn more about this world. There are simply too many weird things in this place. Moreover, the war between the humans and the beasts continues. Now, with the involvement of the beast race and the lockdown of the ancient forest, the standing of the humans had weakened a bit. They lost their source of beast eggs after all.

As soon as they got out, the two wardens and the two systems used teleportation to leave the village. After all, beastmen are a lot more sensitive and possess a keener sense of smell and intuition. They would instantly be caught if they left the normal way. When Huzi returned after asking for a few things used by babies from the tribe, the four had already taken their leave.

As expected, the moment Huzi had returned, he checked on the two cubs and saw they were still asleep. However, his face turned serious when he noticed an unknown scent that lingered a bit within his abode. No other beastman dares to enter his place without his person. That’s why the scent left behind was noticed by him almost instantly.

With a frown on his face, Huzi mumbles, ”Someone was here just now? It’s not from our tribe, though.”

”Forget about it. I will just ask the warrior to strengthen the security within the village.”
